| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[6:23] | Thumma lam takun fitnatuhum illa an qaloowaAllahi rabbina ma kunnamushrikeena
|  ثم لم تكن فتنتهم إلا أن قالوا والله ربنا ما كنا مشركين
ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُن فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ وَاللّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ |
| Words | |ثم - Then| لم - not| تكن - will be| فتنتهم - (for) them a plea| إلا - except| أن - that| قالوا - they say,| والله - "By Allah,| ربنا - our Lord,| ما - not| كنا - we were| مشركين - those who associated others (with Allah)."| |

| ከዚያም መልሳቸው «በጌታችን በአላህ ይኹንብን አጋሪዎች አልነበርንም» ማለት እንጅ ሌላ አትኾንም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ثم لم تكن } بالتاء والياء { فتنتّهم } بالنصب والرفع أي معذرتهم { إلا أن قالوا } أي قولهم { والله ربِّنا } بالجر نعت والنصب نداء { ما كنا مشركين } . |
| Deg uhewwel nnsen, siwa ma nnan d: "s Öebbi, Mass nne$, ur nelli d imcurak"! |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর তাদের কোন অপরিচ্ছন্নতা থাকবে না; তবে এটুকুই যে তারা বলবে আমাদের প্রতিপালক আল্লাহর কসম, আমরা মুশরিক ছিলাম না। |
| Literal | Then their false tales/misguidance (excuse was not), except that they said: "By God, our Lord, we were not sharing (with God)." |
| Yusuf Ali | There will then be (left) no subterfuge for them but to say: "By Allah our Lord, we were not those who joined gods with Allah." |
| Pickthal | Then will they have no contention save that they will say: By Allah, our Lord, we never were idolaters. |
