[40:74] | Min dooni Allahi qaloo dallooAAanna bal lam nakun nadAAoo min qablu shay-an kathalikayudillu Allahu alkafireena
|  من دون الله قالوا ضلوا عنا بل لم نكن ندعو من قبل شيئا كذلك يضل الله الكافرين
مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ قَالُوا ضَلُّوا عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُواْ مِن قَبْلُ شَيْئًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الْكَافِرِينَ |

| «ከአላህ ሌላ (የምታጋሩዋቸው)፤ ከኛ ተሰወሩን?» «ከቶ ከዚህ በፊት ምንንም የምንገዛ አልነበርንም» ይላሉ፤ እንደዚሁ አላህ ከሓዲዎችን ያሳስታል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { من دون الله } معه وهي الأصنام { قالوا ضلوا } غابوا { عنا } فلا نراهم { بل لم نكن تدعوا من قبل شيئا } أنكروا عبادتهم إياها ثم أحضرت قال تعالى: (إنكم وما تعبدون من دون الله حصب جهنم) أي وقودها { كذلك } أي مثل إضلال هؤلاء المكذبين { يضل الله الكافرين } . |
| war Öebbi"? A d inin: "dergen fella$. Xaîi! Ur illi wayen u$uô nepnuju, zik". Akka i Itellif Öebbi ijehliyen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ ব্যতীত? তারা বলবে, তারা আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে; বরং আমরা তো ইতিপূর্বে কোন কিছুর পূজাই করতাম না। এমনি ভাবে আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেন। |
| Literal | From other than God? They said: "They were misguided from us, but we were not calling from before a thing." As/like that God misguides the disbelievers. |
| Yusuf Ali | "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. |
