| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[40:20] | WaAllahu yaqdee bialhaqqiwaallatheena yadAAoona min doonihi la yaqdoonabishay-in inna Allaha huwa alssameeAAu albaseeru
|  والله يقضي بالحق والذين يدعون من دونه لا يقضون بشيء إن الله هو السميع البصير
وَاللَّهُ يَقْضِي بِالْحَقِّ وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ لَا يَقْضُونَ بِشَيْءٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ |
| Words | |والله - And Allah| يقضي - judges| بالحق - in truth,| والذين - while those (whom)| يدعون - they invoke| من - besides Him| دونه - besides Him| لا - not| يقضون - they judge| بشيء - with anything.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah -| هو - He| السميع - (is) the All-Hearer,| البصير - the All-Seer.| |

| አላህም በእውነት ይፈርዳል፡፡ እነዚያም ከእርሱ ሌላ የሚግገዟቸው በምንም አይፈርዱም፡፡ አላህ እርሱ ሰሚው ተመልካቹ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { والله يقضي بالحق والذين يدعون } يعبدون، أي كفار مكة بالياء والتاء { من دونه } وهم الأصنام { لا يقضون بشيءٍ } فكيف يكونون شركاء لله { إن الله هو السميع } لأقوالهم { البصير } بأفعالهم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ ফয়সালা করেন সঠিকভাবে, আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তারা যাদেরকে ডাকে, তারা কিছুই ফয়সালা করে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সবকিছু শুনেন, সবকিছু দেখেন। |
| Literal | And God passes judgment/orders with the truth , and those whom they call from other than Him, they do not pass judgment/order/accomplish with a thing, that truly God, He is the hearing/listening, the seeing/knowing . |
| Yusuf Ali | And Allah will judge with (justice and) Truth: but those whom (men) invoke besides Him, will not (be in a position) to judge at all. Verily it is Allah (alone) Who hears and sees (all things). |
