[38:27] | Wama khalaqna alssamaawaal-arda wama baynahuma batilanthalika thannu allatheena kafaroofawaylun lillatheena kafaroo mina alnnari
|  وما خلقنا السماء والأرض وما بينهما باطلا ذلك ظن الذين كفروا فويل للذين كفروا من النار
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلًا ذَلِكَ ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنَ النَّارِ |
| Words | |وما - And not| خلقنا - We created| السماء - the heaven| والأرض - and the earth| وما - and whatever| بينهما - (is) between them| باطلا - without purpose.| ذلك - That| ظن - (is the) assumption| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieve.| فويل - So woe| للذين - to those| كفروا - who disbelieve,| من - from| النار - the Fire.| |

| ሰማይንና ምድርን በመካከላቸውም ያለውን ሁሉ ለከንቱ አልፈጠርንም፡፡ ይህ የእነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች ጥርጣሬ ነው፡፡ ለእነዚያም ለካዱት ሰዎች ከእሳት ወዮላቸው! |
| آل الجلالين | { وما خلقنا السماء والأرض وما بينهما باطلا } عبثا { ذلك } أي خلق ما ذكر لا لشيء { ظن الذين كفروا } من أهل مكة { فويل } وادِ { للذين كفروا من النار } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি আসমান-যমীন ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী কোন কিছু অযথা সৃষ্টি করিনি। এটা কাফেরদের ধারণা। অতএব, কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে দূর্ভোগ অর্থাৎ জাহান্নাম। |
| Literal | And We did not create the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth and what (is) between them (B) wastefully/falsely , that is those who disbelieved's doubt/suspicion, so calamity/scandal to those who disbelieved from the fire . |
