بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [38:18] | Inna sakhkharna aljibalamaAAahu yusabbihna bialAAashiyyi waal-ishraqi
| إنا سخرنا الجبال معه يسبحن بالعشي والإشراق إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا الْجِبَالَ مَعَهُ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِشْرَاقِ |
Words | |إنا - Indeed, We| سخرنا - subjected| الجبال - the mountains| معه - with him| يسبحن - glorifying| بالعشي - in the evening| والإشراق - and [the] sunrise.| |

| እኛ ተራራዎችን ከቀትር በኋላና በረፋድም ከእርሱ ጋር የሚያወድሱ ሲሆኑ ገራንለት፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { إنا سخرنا الجبال معه يسبحن } بتسبيحه { بالعشيّ } وقت صلاة العشاء { والإشراق } وقت صلاة الضحى وهو أن تشرق الشمس ويتناهى ضوءُها . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি পর্বতমালাকে তার অনুগামী করে দিয়েছিলাম, তারা সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় তার সাথে পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করত; |
Literal | That We, We manipulated/subjugated the mountains with him, they praise/glorify at the evening/first darkness and the sun rise. |
Yusuf Ali | It was We that made the hills declare, in unison with him, Our Praises, at eventide and at break of day, |
Pickthal | Lo! We subdued the hills to hymn the praises (of their Lord) with him at nightfall and sunrise, |
