| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[38:14] | In kullun illa kaththaba alrrusulafahaqqa AAiqabi
|  إن كل إلا كذب الرسل فحق عقاب
إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ |
| Words | |إن - Not| كل - all (of them)| إلا - but| كذب - denied| الرسل - the Messengers,| فحق - so (was) just| عقاب - My penalty.| |

| ሁሉም መልክተኞቹን ያስዋሹ እንጅ ሌላ አይደሉም፡፡ ቅጣቴም ተረጋገጠባቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن } ما { كل } من الأحزاب { إلا كذب الرسل } لأنهم إذا كذبوا واحدا منهم فقد كذبوا جميعهم لأن دعوتهم واحدة، وهي دعوة التوحيد { فحق } وجب { عقاب } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এদের প্রত্যেকেই পয়গম্বরগণের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছে। ফলে আমার আযাব প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। |
| Literal | That (E) each/all except they did (without exception) lied/denied/falsified the messengers, so (they) deserved My punishment. |
| Yusuf Ali | Not one (of them) but rejected the messengers, but My punishment came justly and inevitably (on them). |
