[35:39] | Huwa allathee jaAAalakum khala-ifafee al-ardi faman kafara faAAalayhi kufruhu walayazeedu alkafireena kufruhum AAinda rabbihim illamaqtan wala yazeedu alkafireena kufruhum illakhasaran
|  هو الذي جعلكم خلائف في الأرض فمن كفر فعليه كفره ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم عند ربهم إلا مقتا ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم إلا خسارا
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا |

| እርሱ ያ በምድር ውስጥ ምትኮች ያደረጋችሁ ነው፡፡ የካደም ሰው ክህደቱ በእርሱው ላይ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ከሓዲዎችንም ክሕደታቸው ከጌታቸው ዘንድ መጠላትን እንጂ ሌላ አይጨመርላቸውም፡፡ ከሓዲዎችንም ክሕደታቸው ከሳራን እንጂ አይጨምርላቸውም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { هو الذي جعلكم خلائف في الأرض } جمع خليفة، أي يخلف بعضكم بعضا { فمن كفر } منكم { فعليه كفره } أي وبال كفره { ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم عند ربهم إلا مقتا } غضبا { ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم إلا خسارا } للآخرة. |

| Literal | He is who made/put you (as) caliphs/successors and replacers in the earth/Planet Earth, so who disbelieved so on him (is) his disbelief, and the disbeliever's disbelief does not increase (them) at their Lord except abhorrence/hatred , the disbeliever's disbelief does not increase (them) except loss/misguidance and perishment. |
