| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[27:68] | Laqad wuAAidna hatha nahnuwaabaona min qablu in hatha illaasateeru al-awwaleena
|  لقد وعدنا هذا نحن وآباؤنا من قبل إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين
لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَذَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ |
| Words | |لقد - Certainly,| وعدنا - we have been promised| هذا - this,| نحن - we| وآباؤنا - and our forefathers| من - before.| قبل - before.| إن - Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - except| أساطير - tales| الأولين - (of) the former (people)."| |

| «ይህንን እኛም ከፊት የነበሩት አባቶቻችንም በእርግጥ ተቀጥረንበታል፡፡ ይህ የመጀመሪያዎቹ ሰዎች ተረቶች እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም» (አሉ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { لقد وعدنا هذا نحن وآباؤنا من قبل إن } ما { هذا إلا أساطير الأولين } جمع أسطورة بالضم أي ما سطر من الكذب. |
| Ni$ waââden a$ aya, i nekwni akw i imezwura nne$, zik. Ayagi, d timucuha kan imenza". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এই ওয়াদাপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছি আমরা এবং পূর্ব থেকেই আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা। এটা তো পূর্ববর্তীদের উপকথা বৈ কিছু নয়। |
