| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[20:45] | Qala rabbana innananakhafu an yafruta AAalayna aw an yatgha
|  قالا ربنا إننا نخاف أن يفرط علينا أو أن يطغى
قَالَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَن يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَا أَوْ أَن يَطْغَى |
| Words | |قالا - They said,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| إننا - Indeed, we| نخاف - fear| أن - that| يفرط - he will hasten| علينا - against us| أو - or| أن - that| يطغى - he will transgress."| |

| «ጌታችን ሆይ! እኛ በእኛ ላይ ክፋት በመሥራት መቸኮሉን ወይም ኩራትን መጨመሩን እንፈራለን» አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالا ربنا إننا نخاف أن يفرط علينا } أي يعجل بالعقوبة { أو أن يطغى } علينا أي يتكبر . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বললঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা আশঙ্কা করি যে, সে আমাদের প্রতি জুলুম করবে কিংবা উত্তেজিত হয়ে উঠবে। |
