| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:37] | Wala tamshi fee al-ardi marahaninnaka lan takhriqa al-arda walan tablugha aljibalatoolan
|  ولا تمش في الأرض مرحا إنك لن تخرق الأرض ولن تبلغ الجبال طولا
وَلاَ تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ الْأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولاً |
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تمش - walk| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مرحا - (with) insolence.| إنك - Indeed, you| لن - will never| تخرق - tear| الأرض - the earth| ولن - and will never| تبلغ - reach| الجبال - the mountains| طولا - (in) height.| |

| በምድርም ላይ የተንበጣረረክ ሆነህ፤ አትሂድ፡፡ አንተ ፈጽሞ ምድርን አትሰረጉድምና በርዝመትም ፈጽሞ ጋራዎችን አትደርስምና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولا تمش في الأرض مرحا } أي ذا مرح بالكبر والخيلاء { إنك لن تخرق الأرض } تثقبها حتى تبلغ آخرها بكبرك { ولن تبلغ الجبال طولاً } المعنى أنك لا تبلغ هذا المبلغ فكيف تختال . |
| Ur teddu di tmurt, d amzuxxi. Ih, keçç ur tezmirev, d awez$i, a pneqôev tamurt, ne$ a ppessiwvev laâli idurar. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | পৃথিবীতে দম্ভভরে পদচারণা করো না। নিশ্চয় তুমি তো ভূ পৃষ্ঠকে কখনই বিদীর্ণ করতে পারবে না এবং উচ্চতায় তুমি কখনই পর্বত প্রমাণ হতে পারবে না। |
| Literal | And do not walk in the earth/Planet Earth showing superiority, happiness and over confidence , that you will never reach (the) end (of)/tear apart the earth/Planet Earth, and you will never reach the mountains (in) height/length (be as tall as the mountains). |
| Yusuf Ali | Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height. |
| Pickthal | And walk not in the earth exultant. Lo! thou canst not rend the earth, nor canst thou stretch to the height of the hills. |
