| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[16:62] | WayajAAaloona lillahi mayakrahoona watasifu alsinatuhumu alkathiba annalahumu alhusna la jarama anna lahumu alnnarawaannahum mufratoona
|  ويجعلون لله ما يكرهون وتصف ألسنتهم الكذب أن لهم الحسنى لا جرم أن لهم النار وأنهم مفرطون
وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ وَتَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ الْكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ الْحُسْنَى لاَ جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ الْنَّارَ وَأَنَّهُم مُّفْرَطُونَ |
| Words | |ويجعلون - And they assign| لله - to Allah| ما - what| يكرهون - they dislike| وتصف - and assert| ألسنتهم - their tongues| الكذب - the lie| أن - that| لهم - for them| الحسنى - (is) the best.| لا - No| جرم - doubt| أن - that| لهم - for them| النار - (is) the Fire| وأنهم - and that they| مفرطون - (will) be abandoned.| |

| ለአላህም የሚጠሉትን ነገር ያደረጋሉ፡፡ ለእነሱም መልካሚቱ (አገር) አለቻቸው በማለት ምላሶቸቸው ውሸትን ይናገራሉ፡፡ ለእነሱ እሳት ያለቻቸው መኾናቸውና እነሱም (ወደርሷ) በቅድሚያ የሚነዱ መኾናቸው ጥርጥር የለበትም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | {ويجعلون لله ما يكرهون} لأنفسهم من البنات والشريك في الرياسة وإهانة الرسل {وتصف} تقول {ألسنتهم} مع ذلك {الكذب} وهو {أن لهم الحسنى} عند الله أي الجنة لقوله : (ولئن رجعت إلى ربي إن لي عنده للحسنى) {لا جرم} حقا {أن لهم النار وأنهم مفرطون} متروكون فيها أو مقدمون إليها وفي قراءة بكسر الراء أي متجاوزون الحد. |
| Garen aS d, i Öebbi, ayen keôhen. Skaddben yilsawen nnsen, mi qqaôen ar ayen ilhan, nnsen. Ay nnsen, war ccekk, d times. Ih, nitni ad zwiren. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যা নিজেদের মন চায় না তারই তারা আল্লাহর জন্যে সাব্যস্ত করে এবং তাদের জিহবা মিথ্যা বর্ণনা করে যে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কল্যাণ। স্বতঃসিদ্ধ কথা যে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে আগুন এবং তাদেরকেই সর্বাগ্রে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে। |
| Literal | And they make/create/put to God what they hate, and their tongues/speeches describes/categorizes the lies/falsehood , that to them (is) the best/most beautiful , undoutably/certainly that to them (is) the fire , and that they truly are neglected/wasted/hastened . |
| Yusuf Ali | They attribute to Allah what they hate (for themselves), and their tongues assert the falsehood that all good things are for themselves: without doubt for them is the Fire, and they will be the first to be hastened on into it! |
| Pickthal | And they assign unto Allah that which they (themselves) dislike, and their tongues expound the lie that the better portion will be theirs. Assuredly theirs will be the Fire, and they will be abandoned. |
| Arberry | They assign to God that they themselves dislike; and their tongues describe falsehood, that the reward most fair shall be theirs. Without any doubt theirs shall be the Fire, and they are hastened in. |

| Abul Ala Maududi | آج یہ لوگ وہ چیزیں اللہ کے لیے تجویز کر رہے ہیں جو خود اپنے لیے اِنہیں ناپسند ہیں، اور جھوٹ کہتی ہیں اِن کی زبانیں کہ اِن کے لیے بھلا ہی بھلا ہے اِن کے لیے تو ایک ہی چیز ہے، اور وہ ہے دوزخ کی آگ ضرور یہ سب سے پہلے اُس میں پہنچائے جائیں گے |
