| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[16:57] | WayajAAaloona lillahi albanatisubhanahu walahum ma yashtahoona
|  ويجعلون لله البنات سبحانه ولهم ما يشتهون
وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلّهِ الْبَنَاتِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَلَهُم مَّا يَشْتَهُونَ |
| Words | |ويجعلون - And they assign| لله - to Allah| البنات - daughters.| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| ولهم - And for them| ما - (is) what| يشتهون - they desire.| |

| ለአላህም (ከመላእክት) ሴቶች ልጆችን ያደርጋሉ፡፡ ጥራት ተገባው፡፡ ለእነርሱም የሚፈልጉትን (ወንዶች ልጆችን) ያደርጋሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ( ويجعلون لله البنات ) بقولهم الملائكة بنات الله ( سبحانه ) تنزيهاً له عما زعموا ( ولهم ما يشتهون) ـه أي البنون والجملة في محل رفع أو نصب بيجعل ، المعنى يجعلون له البنات التي يكرهونها وهو منزه عن الولد ويجعلون لهم الأبناء الذين يختارونهم فيختصون بالأسنى كقوله "" فاستفتهم ألربك البنات ولهم البنون "" . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা আল্লাহর জন্যে কন্যা সন্তান নির্ধারণ করে-তিনি পবিত্র মহিমান্বিত এবং নিজেদের জন্যে ওরা তাই স্থির করে যা ওরা চায়। |
| Literal | And they make/create/put to God the daughters, His praise/glory, and for them what they lust/desire/crave. |
