[16:28] | Allatheena tatawaffahumu almala-ikatuthalimee anfusihim faalqawoo alssalamama kunna naAAmalu min soo-in bala inna AllahaAAaleemun bima kuntum taAAmaloona
|  الذين تتوفاهم الملائكة ظالمي أنفسهم فألقوا السلم ما كنا نعمل من سوء بلى إن الله عليم بما كنتم تعملون
الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنفُسِهِمْ فَأَلْقَوُاْ السَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِن سُوءٍ بَلَى إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |

| (እነርሱ) «እነዚያ ነፍሶቻቸውን በዳይ ኾነው መላእክት የሚገድሏቸው ናቸው፡፡ ከክፉ ሥራ ምንም ነገር የምንሠራም አልነበርን» (ሲሉ) ታዛዥነታቸውን ይገልጻሉ፡፡ «በእውነት አላህ ትሰሩት የነበራችሁትን ነገር ዐዋቂ ነው» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { الذين تتوفاهم } بالتاء والياء { الملائكة ظالمي أنفسهم } بالكفر { فألقوا السلم } انقادوا واستسلموا عند الموت قائلين { ما كنا نعمل من سوء } شرك فتقول الملائكة { بلى إن الله عليم بما كنتم تعملون } فيجازيكم به . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | ফেরেশতারা তাদের জান এমতাঅবস্থায় কবজ করে যে, তারা নিজেদের উপর যুলুম করেছে। তখন তারা অনুগত্য প্রকাশ করবে যে, আমরা তো কোন মন্দ কাজ করতাম না। হঁ্যা নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সববিষয় অবগত আছেন, যা তোমরা করতে। |
| Literal | Those who the angels make them die, (while) unjust/oppressive (to) themselves, so they threw the submission/surrender (and said): "We were not making/doing/working from the bad/evil/harm/corruption." Yes/certainly that God (is) knowledgeable with what you were making/doing/working. |
