| 1 [5:82] | Latajidanna ashadda alnnasiAAadawatan lillatheena amanoo alyahooda waallatheenaashrakoo walatajidanna aqrabahum mawaddatan lillatheena amanooallatheena qaloo inna nasara thalikabi-anna minhum qisseeseena waruhbanan waannahum layastakbiroona |  لتجدن أشد الناس عداوة للذين آمنوا اليهود والذين أشركوا ولتجدن أقربهم مودة للذين آمنوا الذين قالوا إنا نصارى ذلك بأن منهم قسيسين ورهبانا وأنهم لا يستكبرونلَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لتجدن - Surely you will find| أشد - strongest| الناس - (of) the people| عداوة - (in) enmity| للذين - to those who| آمنوا - believe,| اليهود - the Jews| والذين - and those who| أشركوا - (are) polytheists;| ولتجدن - and surely you will find| أقربهم - nearest of them| مودة - (in) affection| للذين - to those who| آمنوا - believe,| الذين - those who| قالوا - say,| إنا - "We| نصارى - (are) Christians."| ذلك - That (is)| بأن - because| منهم - among them| قسيسين - (are) priests| ورهبانا - and monks,| وأنهم - and that they| لا - (are) not| يستكبرون - arrogant.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:206] | Inna allatheena AAinda rabbika layastakbiroona AAan AAibadatihi wayusabbihoonahuwalahu yasjudoona | إن الذين عند ربك لا يستكبرون عن عبادته ويسبحونه وله يسجدون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيُسَبِّحُونَهُ وَلَهُ يَسْجُدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| عند - (are) near| ربك - your Lord,| لا - not| يستكبرون - (do) they turn away in pride| عن - from| عبادته - His worship.| ويسبحونه - And they glorify Him| وله - and to Him| يسجدون - they prostrate.| | ||||||
| 3 [16:49] | Walillahi yasjudu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi min dabbatin waalmala-ikatuwahum la yastakbiroona | ولله يسجد ما في السماوات وما في الأرض من دابة والملائكة وهم لا يستكبرون وَلِلّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَالْمَلَآئِكَةُ وَهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولله - And to Allah| يسجد - prostrate| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth| من - of| دابة - moving creatures| والملائكة - and the Angels,| وهم - and they| لا - (are) not| يستكبرون - arrogant.| | ||||||
| 4 [21:19] | Walahu man fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi waman AAindahu la yastakbiroonaAAan AAibadatihi wala yastahsiroona | وله من في السماوات والأرض ومن عنده لا يستكبرون عن عبادته ولا يستحسرون وَلَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ عِندَهُ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وله - And to Him (belongs)| من - whoever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| ومن - And (those) who| عنده - (are) near Him| لا - not| يستكبرون - they are arrogant| عن - to| عبادته - worship Him| ولا - and not| يستحسرون - they tire.| | ||||||
| 5 [32:15] | Innama yu/minu bi-ayatinaallatheena itha thukkiroo bihakharroo sujjadan wasabbahoo bihamdi rabbihim wahumla yastakbiroona | إنما يؤمن بآياتنا الذين إذا ذكروا بها خروا سجدا وسبحوا بحمد ربهم وهم لا يستكبرون إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهَا خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| يؤمن - believe| بآياتنا - in Our Verses| الذين - those who| إذا - when| ذكروا - they are reminded| بها - of them| خروا - fall down| سجدا - prostrating| وسبحوا - and glorify| بحمد - (the) praises| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| وهم - and they| لا - are not arrogant.| يستكبرون - are not arrogant.| | ||||||
| 6 [37:35] | Innahum kanoo itha qeela lahumla ilaha illa Allahu yastakbiroona | إنهم كانوا إذا قيل لهم لا إله إلا الله يستكبرون إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were,| إذا - when| قيل - it was said| لهم - to them,| لا - "(There is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| الله - Allah,"| يستكبرون - were arrogant| | ||||||
| 7 [40:60] | Waqala rabbukumu odAAoonee astajiblakum inna allatheena yastakbiroona AAan AAibadateesayadkhuloona jahannama dakhireena | وقال ربكم ادعوني أستجب لكم إن الذين يستكبرون عن عبادتي سيدخلون جهنم داخرين وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| ربكم - your Lord,| ادعوني - "Call upon Me;| أستجب - I will respond| لكم - to you.| إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يستكبرون - (are) proud| عن - to| عبادتي - worship Me| سيدخلون - will enter| جهنم - Hell| داخرين - (in) humiliation."| | ||||||
