| 1 [24:4] | Waallatheena yarmoona almuhsanatithumma lam ya/too bi-arbaAAati shuhadaa faijlidoohumthamaneena jaldatan wala taqbaloo lahum shahadatanabadan waola-ika humu alfasiqoona |  والذين يرمون المحصنات ثم لم يأتوا بأربعة شهداء فاجلدوهم ثمانين جلدة ولا تقبلوا لهم شهادة أبدا وأولئك هم الفاسقونوَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَانِينَ جَلْدَةً وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا لَهُمْ شَهَادَةً أَبَدًا وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يرمون - accuse| المحصنات - the chaste women,| ثم - then| لم - not| يأتوا - they bring| بأربعة - four| شهداء - witnesses,| فاجلدوهم - then flog them| ثمانين - (with) eighty| جلدة - lashe(s)| ولا - and (do) not| تقبلوا - accept| لهم - their| شهادة - testimony| أبدا - ever.| وأولئك - And those,| هم - they| الفاسقون - (are) the defiantly disobedient,| | ||||||
| 2 [24:6] | Waallatheena yarmoona azwajahumwalam yakun lahum shuhadao illa anfusuhum fashahadatuahadihim arbaAAu shahadatin biAllahiinnahu lamina alssadiqeena | والذين يرمون أزواجهم ولم يكن لهم شهداء إلا أنفسهم فشهادة أحدهم أربع شهادات بالله إنه لمن الصادقين وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ إِلَّا أَنفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يرمون - accuse| أزواجهم - their spouses| ولم - and not| يكن - have| لهم - for them| شهداء - witnesses| إلا - except| أنفسهم - themselves,| فشهادة - then (the) testimony| أحدهم - (of) one of them| أربع - (is) four| شهادات - testimonies| بالله - by Allah,| إنه - that he| لمن - (is) surely of| الصادقين - the truthful.| | ||||||
| 3 [24:23] | Inna allatheena yarmoona almuhsanatialghafilati almu/minati luAAinoo fee alddunyawaal-akhirati walahum AAathabun AAatheemun | إن الذين يرمون المحصنات الغافلات المؤمنات لعنوا في الدنيا والآخرة ولهم عذاب عظيم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يرمون - accuse| المحصنات - the chaste women,| الغافلات - the unaware women| المؤمنات - (and) the believing women,| لعنوا - are cursed| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| ولهم - And for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
