| 1 [11:123] | Walillahi ghaybu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wa-ilayhi yurjaAAu al-amru kulluhu faoAAbudhuwatawakkal AAalayhi wama rabbuka bighafilin AAammataAAmaloona |  ولله غيب السماوات والأرض وإليه يرجع الأمر كله فاعبده وتوكل عليه وما ربك بغافل عما تعملونوَلِلّهِ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُ الْأَمْرُ كُلُّهُ فَاعْبُدْهُ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَيْهِ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولله - And for Allah| غيب - (is the) unseen| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| وإليه - and to Him| يرجع - will be returned| الأمر - the matter,| كله - all (of) it,| فاعبده - so worship Him,| وتوكل - and put your trust| عليه - upon Him.| وما - And your Lord is not| ربك - And your Lord is not| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 2 [20:89] | Afala yarawna alla yarjiAAuilayhim qawlan wala yamliku lahum darran walanafAAan | أفلا يرون ألا يرجع إليهم قولا ولا يملك لهم ضرا ولا نفعا أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَلَّا يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَوْلًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا | |||||
| Words | |أفلا - Then, did not| يرون - they see| ألا - that not| يرجع - it (could) return| إليهم - to them| قولا - a word| ولا - and not| يملك - possess| لهم - for them| ضرا - any harm| ولا - and not| نفعا - any benefit?| | ||||||
| 3 [20:91] | Qaloo lan nabraha AAalayhi AAakifeenahatta yarjiAAa ilayna moosa | قالوا لن نبرح عليه عاكفين حتى يرجع إلينا موسى قَالُوا لَن نَّبْرَحَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفِينَ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْنَا مُوسَى | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| لن - "Never| نبرح - we will cease| عليه - being devoted to it| عاكفين - being devoted to it| حتى - until| يرجع - returns| إلينا - to us| موسى - Musa."| | ||||||
| 4 [27:35] | Wa-innee mursilatun ilayhim bihadiyyatin fanathiratunbima yarjiAAu almursaloona | وإني مرسلة إليهم بهدية فناظرة بم يرجع المرسلون وَإِنِّي مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَنَاظِرَةٌ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ الْمُرْسَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإني - But indeed, I am| مرسلة - going to send| إليهم - to them| بهدية - a gift| فناظرة - and see| بم - with what| يرجع - return| المرسلون - the messengers."| | ||||||
| 5 [34:31] | Waqala allatheena kafaroo lannu/mina bihatha alqur-ani wala biallatheebayna yadayhi walaw tara ithi alththalimoonamawqoofoona AAinda rabbihim yarjiAAu baAAduhum ilabaAAdin alqawla yaqoolu allatheena istudAAifoolillatheena istakbaroo lawla antum lakunnamu/mineena | وقال الذين كفروا لن نؤمن بهذا القرآن ولا بالذي بين يديه ولو ترى إذ الظالمون موقوفون عند ربهم يرجع بعضهم إلى بعض القول يقول الذين استضعفوا للذين استكبروا لولا أنتم لكنا مؤمنين وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ بِهَذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا بِالَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ الْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لَوْلَا أَنتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| لن - "Never will| نؤمن - we believe| بهذا - in this| القرآن - Quran| ولا - and not| بالذي - in (that) which| بين - (was) before it."| يديه - (was) before it."| ولو - But if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| موقوفون - will be made to stand| عند - before| ربهم - their Lord,| يرجع - will throw back| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - to| بعض - others| القول - the word.| يقول - Will say| الذين - those who| استضعفوا - were oppressed| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| لولا - "If not| أنتم - (for) you| لكنا - certainly we (would) have been| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
