| 1 [2:165] | Wamina alnnasi man yattakhithumin dooni Allahi andadan yuhibboonahum kahubbiAllahi waallatheena amanoo ashaddu hubbanlillahi walaw yara allatheena thalamooith yarawna alAAathaba anna alquwwata lillahijameeAAan waanna Allaha shadeedu alAAathabi |  ومن الناس من يتخذ من دون الله أندادا يحبونهم كحب الله والذين آمنوا أشد حبا لله ولو يرى الذين ظلموا إذ يرون العذاب أن القوة لله جميعا وأن الله شديد العذابوَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ أَندَاداً يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلّهِ وَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعاً وَأَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعَذَابِ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| الناس - the mankind| من - who| يتخذ - takes| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| أندادا - equals.| يحبونهم - They love them| كحب - as (they should) love| الله - Allah.| والذين - And those who| آمنوا - believe[d]| أشد - (are) stronger| حبا - (in) love| لله - for Allah.| ولو - And if| يرى - would see| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged,| إذ - when| يرون - they will see| العذاب - the punishment| أن - that| القوة - the power| لله - (belongs) to Allah| جميعا - all| وأن - and [that]| الله - Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العذاب - (in) [the] punishment.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:28] | La yattakhithi almu/minoonaalkafireena awliyaa min dooni almu/mineena wamanyafAAal thalika falaysa mina Allahi fee shay-in illaan tattaqoo minhum tuqatan wayuhaththirukumuAllahu nafsahu wa-ila Allahi almaseeru | لا يتخذ المؤمنون الكافرين أولياء من دون المؤمنين ومن يفعل ذلك فليس من الله في شيء إلا أن تتقوا منهم تقاة ويحذركم الله نفسه وإلى الله المصير لاَّ يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُوْنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ أَن تَتَّقُواْ مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّهُ نَفْسَهُ وَإِلَى اللّهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |لا - (Let) not| يتخذ - take| المؤمنون - the believers,| الكافرين - the disbelievers| أولياء - (as) allies| من - from| دون - instead of| المؤمنين - the believers.| ومن - And whoever| يفعل - does| ذلك - that,| فليس - then not he (has)| من - from| الله - Allah| في - in| شيء - anything| إلا - except| أن - that| تتقوا - you fear| منهم - from them,| تقاة - (as) a precaution.| ويحذركم - And warns you| الله - Allah| نفسه - (of) Himself,| وإلى - and to| الله - Allah| المصير - (is) the final return.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:64] | Qul ya ahla alkitabi taAAalawila kalimatin sawa-in baynana wabaynakum allanaAAbuda illa Allaha wala nushrika bihishay-an wala yattakhitha baAAdunabaAAdan arbaban min dooni Allahi fa-intawallaw faqooloo ishhadoo bi-anna muslimoona | قل يا أهل الكتاب تعالوا إلى كلمة سواء بيننا وبينكم ألا نعبد إلا الله ولا نشرك به شيئا ولا يتخذ بعضنا بعضا أربابا من دون الله فإن تولوا فقولوا اشهدوا بأنا مسلمون قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلاَّ نَعْبُدَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ وَلاَ نُشْرِكَ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضاً أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَقُولُواْ اشْهَدُواْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يا - O| أهل - "O People| الكتاب - (of) the Book!| تعالوا - Come| إلى - to| كلمة - a word| سواء - equitable| بيننا - between us| وبينكم - and between you -| ألا - that not| نعبد - we worship| إلا - except| الله - Allah,| ولا - and not| نشرك - we associate partners| به - with Him -| شيئا - anything| ولا - and not| يتخذ - take| بعضنا - some of us| بعضا - (to) others| أربابا - (as) lords| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah."| فإن - Then if| تولوا - they turn away,| فقولوا - then say,| اشهدوا - "Bear witness| بأنا - that we| مسلمون - (are) Muslims."| | ||||||
| 4 [4:119] | Walaodillannahum walaomanniyannahumwalaamurannahum falayubattikunna athana al-anAAamiwalaamurannahum falayughayyirunna khalqa Allahiwaman yattakhithi alshshaytana waliyyan mindooni Allahi faqad khasira khusranan mubeenan | ولأضلنهم ولأمنينهم ولآمرنهم فليبتكن آذان الأنعام ولآمرنهم فليغيرن خلق الله ومن يتخذ الشيطان وليا من دون الله فقد خسر خسرانا مبينا وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللّهِ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |ولأضلنهم - "And I will surely mislead them| ولأمنينهم - and surely arouse desires in them,| ولآمرنهم - and surely I will order them| فليبتكن - so they will surely cut off| آذان - (the) ears| الأنعام - (of) the cattle| ولآمرنهم - and surely I will order them| فليغيرن - so they will surely change| خلق - (the) creation| الله - (of) Allah."| ومن - And whoever| يتخذ - takes| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| وليا - (as) a friend| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| فقد - then surely| خسر - he (has) lost -| خسرانا - a loss| مبينا - manifest.| | ||||||
| 5 [9:98] | Wamina al-aAArabi man yattakhithuma yunfiqu maghraman wayatarabbasu bikumu alddawa-iraAAalayhim da-iratu alssaw-i waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun | ومن الأعراب من يتخذ ما ينفق مغرما ويتربص بكم الدوائر عليهم دائرة السوء والله سميع عليم وَمِنَ الأَعْرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ الدَّوَائِرَ عَلَيْهِمْ دَآئِرَةُ السَّوْءِ وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| الأعراب - the bedouins| من - (is he) who| يتخذ - takes| ما - what| ينفق - he spends| مغرما - (as) a loss,| ويتربص - and he awaits| بكم - for you| الدوائر - the turns (of misfortune).| عليهم - Upon them| دائرة - (will be) the turn| السوء - (of) the evil.| والله - And Allah| سميع - (is) All-Hearer,| عليم - All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 6 [17:111] | Waquli alhamdu lillahi allatheelam yattakhith waladan walam yakun lahu shareekun feealmulki walam yakun lahu waliyyun mina alththulliwakabbirhu takbeeran | وقل الحمد لله الذي لم يتخذ ولدا ولم يكن له شريك في الملك ولم يكن له ولي من الذل وكبره تكبيرا وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَم يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلَّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وقل - And say,| الحمد - "All Praise| لله - (is) for Allah| الذي - the One Who| لم - has not taken| يتخذ - has not taken| ولدا - a son| ولم - and not| يكن - is| له - for Him| شريك - a partner| في - in| الملك - the dominion,| ولم - and not| يكن - is| له - for Him| ولي - any protector| من - out of| الذل - weakness.| وكبره - And magnify Him| تكبيرا - (with all) magnificence."| | ||||||
| 7 [19:35] | Ma kana lillahi anyattakhitha min waladin subhanahu itha qadaamran fa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu | ما كان لله أن يتخذ من ولد سبحانه إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍ سُبْحَانَهُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - (it) is| لله - for Allah| أن - that| يتخذ - He should take| من - any son.| ولد - any son.| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter,| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be"| فيكون - and it is.| | ||||||
| 8 [19:92] | Wama yanbaghee lilrrahmanian yattakhitha waladan | وما ينبغي للرحمن أن يتخذ ولدا وَمَا يَنبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| ينبغي - is appropriate| للرحمن - for the Most Gracious| أن - that| يتخذ - He should take| ولدا - a son.| | ||||||
| 9 [25:2] | Allathee lahu mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi walam yattakhith waladan walamyakun lahu shareekun fee almulki wakhalaqa kulla shay-infaqaddarahu taqdeeran | الذي له ملك السماوات والأرض ولم يتخذ ولدا ولم يكن له شريك في الملك وخلق كل شيء فقدره تقديرا الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُ تَقْدِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |الذي - The One Who -| له - to Him (belongs)| ملك - (the) dominion| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| ولم - and not| يتخذ - He has taken| ولدا - a son,| ولم - and not| يكن - He has| له - for Him| شريك - a partner| في - in| الملك - the dominion| وخلق - and He (has) created| كل - every| شيء - thing,| فقدره - and determined it| تقديرا - (with) determination.| | ||||||
| 10 [25:57] | Qul ma as-alukum AAalayhi min ajrinilla man shaa an yattakhitha ilarabbihi sabeelan | قل ما أسألكم عليه من أجر إلا من شاء أن يتخذ إلى ربه سبيلا قُلْ مَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَاءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| ما - "Not| أسألكم - I ask (of) you| عليه - for it| من - any| أجر - payment,| إلا - except| من - (that) whoever wills| شاء - (that) whoever wills| أن - to| يتخذ - take| إلى - to| ربه - his Lord| سبيلا - a way."| | ||||||
| 11 [39:4] | Law arada Allahu an yattakhithawaladan laistafa mimma yakhluqu mayashao subhanahu huwa Allahu alwahidualqahharu | لو أراد الله أن يتخذ ولدا لاصطفى مما يخلق ما يشاء سبحانه هو الله الواحد القهار لَوْ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَّاصْطَفَى مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ | |||||
| Words | |لو - If| أراد - Allah (had) intended| الله - Allah (had) intended| أن - to| يتخذ - take| ولدا - a son,| لاصطفى - surely, He (could) have chosen| مما - from what| يخلق - He creates| ما - whatever| يشاء - He willed.| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| هو - He| الله - (is) Allah| الواحد - the One,| القهار - the Irresistible.| | ||||||
