| 1 [7:28] | Wa-itha faAAaloo fahishatan qaloowajadna AAalayha abaana waAllahuamarana biha qul inna Allaha laya/muru bialfahsha-i ataqooloona AAalaAllahi ma la taAAlamoona |  وإذا فعلوا فاحشة قالوا وجدنا عليها آباءنا والله أمرنا بها قل إن الله لا يأمر بالفحشاء أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمونوَإِذَا فَعَلُواْ فَاحِشَةً قَالُواْ وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَا آبَاءَنَا وَاللّهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا قُلْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| فعلوا - they do| فاحشة - immorality| قالوا - they say,| وجدنا - "We found| عليها - on it| آباءنا - our forefathers| والله - and Allah| أمرنا - (has) ordered us| بها - of it."| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يأمر - order| بالفحشاء - immorality.| أتقولون - Do you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?"| | ||||||
| 2 [16:76] | Wadaraba Allahu mathalanrajulayni ahaduhuma abkamu la yaqdiru AAalashay-in wahuwa kallun AAala mawlahu aynamayuwajjihhu la ya/ti bikhayrin hal yastawee huwa wamanya/muru bialAAadli wahuwa AAala siratinmustaqeemin | وضرب الله مثلا رجلين أحدهما أبكم لا يقدر على شيء وهو كل على مولاه أينما يوجهه لا يأت بخير هل يستوي هو ومن يأمر بالعدل وهو على صراط مستقيم وَضَرَبَ اللّهُ مَثَلاً رَّجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَبْكَمُ لاَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَى مَوْلاَهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لاَ يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي هُوَ وَمَن يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَهُوَ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وضرب - And Allah sets forth| الله - And Allah sets forth| مثلا - an example| رجلين - (of) two men,| أحدهما - one of them| أبكم - (is) dumb,| لا - not| يقدر - he has power| على - on| شيء - anything,| وهو - while he| كل - (is) a burden| على - on| مولاه - his master.| أينما - Wherever| يوجهه - he directs him| لا - not| يأت - he comes| بخير - with any good.| هل - Is| يستوي - equal| هو - he| ومن - and (the one) who| يأمر - commands| بالعدل - [of] justice,| وهو - and he| على - (is) on| صراط - a path| مستقيم - straight?| | ||||||
| 3 [16:90] | Inna Allaha ya/muru bialAAadliwaal-ihsani wa-eeta-i theealqurba wayanha AAani alfahsha-i waalmunkariwaalbaghyi yaAAithukum laAAallakum tathakkaroona | إن الله يأمر بالعدل والإحسان وإيتاء ذي القربى وينهى عن الفحشاء والمنكر والبغي يعظكم لعلكم تذكرون إِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يأمر - commands| بالعدل - justice| والإحسان - and the good,| وإيتاء - and giving| ذي - (to) relatives,| القربى - (to) relatives,| وينهى - and forbids| عن - [from]| الفحشاء - the immorality| والمنكر - and the bad| والبغي - and the oppression.| يعظكم - He admonishes you| لعلكم - so that you may| تذكرون - take heed.| | ||||||
| 4 [19:55] | Wakana ya/muru ahlahu bialssalatiwaalzzakati wakana AAinda rabbihi mardiyyan | وكان يأمر أهله بالصلاة والزكاة وكان عند ربه مرضيا وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلاَةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |وكان - And he used| يأمر - (to) enjoin| أهله - (on) his people| بالصلاة - the prayer| والزكاة - and zakah| وكان - and was| عند - near| ربه - his Lord| مرضيا - pleasing.| | ||||||
| 5 [24:21] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytaniwaman yattabiAA khutuwati alshshaytanifa-innahu ya/muru bialfahsha-i waalmunkariwalawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhuma zaka minkum min ahadin abadan walakinnaAllaha yuzakkee man yashao waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان ومن يتبع خطوات الشيطان فإنه يأمر بالفحشاء والمنكر ولولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته ما زكى منكم من أحد أبدا ولكن الله يزكي من يشاء والله سميع عليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ وَمَن يَتَّبِعْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ مَا زَكَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَبَدًا وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يُزَكِّي مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| لا - (Do) not| تتبعوا - follow| خطوات - (the) footsteps| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan,| ومن - and whoever| يتبع - follows| خطوات - (the) footsteps| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan| فإنه - then indeed, he| يأمر - commands| بالفحشاء - the immorality| والمنكر - and the evil.| ولولا - And if not| فضل - (for the) Grace of Allah| الله - (for the) Grace of Allah| عليكم - upon you| ورحمته - and His Mercy| ما - not| زكى - (would) have been pure| منكم - among you| من - anyone| أحد - anyone| أبدا - ever,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| يزكي - purifies| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| والله - And Allah| سميع - (is) All-Hearer,| عليم - All-Knower.| | ||||||
