| 1 [9:54] | Wama manaAAahum an tuqbala minhumnafaqatuhum illa annahum kafaroo biAllahiwabirasoolihi wala ya/toona alssalatailla wahum kusala wala yunfiqoona illawahum karihoona |  وما منعهم أن تقبل منهم نفقاتهم إلا أنهم كفروا بالله وبرسوله ولا يأتون الصلاة إلا وهم كسالى ولا ينفقون إلا وهم كارهونوَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَاتُهُمْ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَلاَ يَأْتُونَ الصَّلاَةَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كُسَالَى وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| منعهم - prevents them| أن - that| تقبل - is accepted| منهم - from them| نفقاتهم - their contributions| إلا - except| أنهم - that they| كفروا - disbelieve| بالله - in Allah| وبرسوله - and in His Messenger,| ولا - and not| يأتون - they come| الصلاة - (to) the prayer| إلا - except| وهم - while they| كسالى - (are) lazy,| ولا - and not| ينفقون - they spend| إلا - except| وهم - while they| كارهون - (are) unwilling.| | ||||||
| 2 [17:88] | Qul la-ini ijtamaAAati al-insu waaljinnuAAala an ya/too bimithli hatha alqur-ani laya/toona bimithlihi walaw kana baAAduhum libaAAdinthaheeran | قل لئن اجتمعت الإنس والجن على أن يأتوا بمثل هذا القرآن لا يأتون بمثله ولو كان بعضهم لبعض ظهيرا قُل لَّئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى أَن يَأْتُواْ بِمِثْلِ هَـذَا الْقُرْآنِ لاَ يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لئن - "If| اجتمعت - gathered| الإنس - the mankind| والجن - and the jinn| على - to| أن - [that]| يأتوا - bring| بمثل - the like| هذا - (of) this| القرآن - Quran,| لا - not| يأتون - they (could) bring| بمثله - the like of it,| ولو - even if| كان - were| بعضهم - some of them| لبعض - to some others| ظهيرا - assistants."| | ||||||
| 3 [18:15] | Haola-i qawmuna ittakhathoomin doonihi alihatan lawla ya/toona AAalayhim bisultaninbayyinin faman athlamu mimmani iftara AAalaAllahi kathiban | هؤلاء قومنا اتخذوا من دونه آلهة لولا يأتون عليهم بسلطان بين فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا هَؤُلاَءِ قَوْمُنَا اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لَّوْلاَ يَأْتُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِسُلْطَانٍ بَيِّنٍ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا | |||||
| Words | |هؤلاء - These,| قومنا - our people,| اتخذوا - have taken| من - besides Him| دونه - besides Him| آلهة - gods.| لولا - Why not| يأتون - they come| عليهم - to them| بسلطان - with an authority| بين - clear?| فمن - And who| أظلم - (is) more wrong| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invents| على - against| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie?| | ||||||
| 4 [33:18] | Qad yaAAlamu Allahu almuAAawwiqeenaminkum waalqa-ileena li-ikhwanihim halummailayna wala ya/toona alba/sa illa qaleelan | قد يعلم الله المعوقين منكم والقائلين لإخوانهم هلم إلينا ولا يأتون البأس إلا قليلا قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمْ وَالْقَائِلِينَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |قد - Verily,| يعلم - Allah knows| الله - Allah knows| المعوقين - those who hinder| منكم - among you| والقائلين - and those who say| لإخوانهم - to their brothers,| هلم - "Come| إلينا - to us,"| ولا - and not| يأتون - they come| البأس - (to) the battle| إلا - except| قليلا - a few,| | ||||||
