| 1 [7:169] | Fakhalafa min baAAdihim khalfun warithooalkitaba ya/khuthoona AAarada hathaal-adna wayaqooloona sayughfaru lana wa-in ya/tihimAAaradun mithluhu ya/khuthoohu alam yu/khathAAalayhim meethaqu alkitabi an la yaqoolooAAala Allahi illa alhaqqa wadarasoo mafeehi waalddaru al-akhiratu khayrun lillatheenayattaqoona afala taAAqiloona |  فخلف من بعدهم خلف ورثوا الكتاب يأخذون عرض هذا الأدنى ويقولون سيغفر لنا وإن يأتهم عرض مثله يأخذوه ألم يؤخذ عليهم ميثاق الكتاب أن لا يقولوا على الله إلا الحق ودرسوا ما فيه والدار الآخرة خير للذين يتقون أفلا تعقلونفَخَلَفَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ وَرِثُواْ الْكِتَابَ يَأْخُذُونَ عَرَضَ هَـذَا الْأَدْنَى وَيَقُولُونَ سَيُغْفَرُ لَنَا وَإِن يَأْتِهِمْ عَرَضٌ مِّثْلُهُ يَأْخُذُوهُ أَلَمْ يُؤْخَذْ عَلَيْهِم مِّيثَاقُ الْكِتَابِ أَن لاَّ يِقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ إِلاَّ الْحَقَّ وَدَرَسُواْ مَا فِيهِ وَالدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فخلف - Then succeeded| من - from| بعدهم - after them| خلف - successors| ورثوا - (who) inherited| الكتاب - the Book| يأخذون - taking| عرض - goods| هذا - (of) this| الأدنى - the lower (life)| ويقولون - and they say,| سيغفر - "It will be forgiven| لنا - for us."| وإن - And if| يأتهم - comes to them| عرض - goods| مثله - similar to it| يأخذوه - they will take it.| ألم - Was not| يؤخذ - taken| عليهم - on them| ميثاق - Covenant| الكتاب - (of) the Book| أن - that| لا - not| يقولوا - they will say| على - about| الله - Allah| إلا - except| الحق - the truth| ودرسوا - while they studied| ما - what| فيه - (is) in it?| والدار - And the home| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| خير - (is) better| للذين - for those who| يتقون - fear Allah.| أفلا - So will not| تعقلون - you use intellect?| | ||||||
| 2 [9:70] | Alam ya/tihim nabao allatheena minqablihim qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waqawmiibraheema waas-habi madyana waalmu/tafikatiatat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinati fama kanaAllahu liyathlimahum walakin kanooanfusahum yathlimoona | ألم يأتهم نبأ الذين من قبلهم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود وقوم إبراهيم وأصحاب مدين والمؤتفكات أتتهم رسلهم بالبينات فما كان الله ليظلمهم ولكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمون أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتِ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَـكِن كَانُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Has not| يأتهم - come to them| نبأ - (the) news| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before them,| قبلهم - (were) before them,| قوم - (the) people| نوح - (of) Nuh,| وعاد - and Aad,| وثمود - and Thamud,| وقوم - and (the) people| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim| وأصحاب - and (the) companions| مدين - (of) Madyan,| والمؤتفكات - and the towns overturned?| أتتهم - Came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs.| فما - And not| كان - was| الله - Allah| ليظلمهم - to wrong them| ولكن - but| كانوا - they were (to)| أنفسهم - themselves| يظلمون - doing wrong.| | ||||||
| 3 [10:39] | Bal kaththaboo bima lam yuheetoobiAAilmihi walamma ya/tihim ta/weeluhu kathalika kaththabaallatheena min qablihim faonthurkayfa kana AAaqibatu alththalimeena | بل كذبوا بما لم يحيطوا بعلمه ولما يأتهم تأويله كذلك كذب الذين من قبلهم فانظر كيف كان عاقبة الظالمين بَلْ كَذَّبُواْ بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُواْ بِعِلْمِهِ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُ كَذَلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
