| 1 [2:26] | Inna Allaha la yastahyeean yadriba mathalan ma baAAoodatan famafawqaha faamma allatheena amanoofayaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu min rabbihim waammaallatheena kafaroo fayaqooloona matha aradaAllahu bihatha mathalan yudillu bihikatheeran wayahdee bihi katheeran wama yudillu bihiilla alfasiqeena |  إن الله لا يستحيي أن يضرب مثلا ما بعوضة فما فوقها فأما الذين آمنوا فيعلمون أنه الحق من ربهم وأما الذين كفروا فيقولون ماذا أراد الله بهذا مثلا يضل به كثيرا ويهدي به كثيرا وما يضل به إلا الفاسقينإِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَسْتَحْيِي أَن يَّضْرِبَ مَثَلاً مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَـذَا مَثَلاً يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيراً وَّيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيراً وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلاَّ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (is) not| يستحيي - ashamed| أن - to| يضرب - set forth| مثلا - an example| ما - (like) even| بعوضة - (of) a mosquito| فما - and (even) something| فوقها - above it.| فأما - Then as for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed,| فيعلمون - [thus] they will know| أنه - that it| الحق - (is) the truth| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| وأما - And as for| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| فيقولون - [thus] they will say| ماذا - what| أراد - (did) intend| الله - Allah| بهذا - by this| مثلا - example?| يضل - He lets go astray| به - by it| كثيرا - many| ويهدي - and He guides| به - by it| كثيرا - many.| وما - And not| يضل - He lets go astray| به - by it| إلا - except| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:25] | WaAllahu yadAAoo ila darialssalami wayahdee man yashao ila siratinmustaqeemin | والله يدعو إلى دار السلام ويهدي من يشاء إلى صراط مستقيم وَاللّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى دَارِ السَّلاَمِ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |والله - And Allah| يدعو - calls| إلى - to| دار - (the) Home| السلام - (of) the Peace,| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| إلى - to| صراط - (the) straight path.| مستقيم - (the) straight path.| | ||||||
| 3 [13:27] | Wayaqoolu allatheena kafaroo lawlaonzila AAalayhi ayatun min rabbihi qul inna Allahayudillu man yashao wayahdee ilayhi man anaba | ويقول الذين كفروا لولا أنزل عليه آية من ربه قل إن الله يضل من يشاء ويهدي إليه من أناب وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ قُلْ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَنْ أَنَابَ | |||||
| Words | |ويقول - And say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| لولا - "Why has not| أنزل - been sent down| عليه - upon him| آية - a Sign| من - from| ربه - his Lord?"| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| يضل - lets go astray| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| إليه - to Himself| من - whoever| أناب - turns back,| | ||||||
| 4 [14:4] | Wama arsalna min rasoolin illabilisani qawmihi liyubayyina lahum fayudillu Allahuman yashao wayahdee man yashao wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu | وما أرسلنا من رسول إلا بلسان قومه ليبين لهم فيضل الله من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء وهو العزيز الحكيم وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ فَيُضِلُّ اللّهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| من - any| رسول - Messenger| إلا - except| بلسان - with the language| قومه - (of) his people| ليبين - so that he might make clear| لهم - for them.| فيضل - Then Allah lets go astray| الله - Then Allah lets go astray| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| وهو - And He| العزيز - (is) the All-Mighty,| الحكيم - the All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 5 [16:93] | Walaw shaa Allahu lajaAAalakumommatan wahidatan walakin yudillu man yashaowayahdee man yashao walatus-alunna AAamma kuntumtaAAmaloona | ولو شاء الله لجعلكم أمة واحدة ولكن يضل من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء ولتسألن عما كنتم تعملون وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَلَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| شاء - Allah (had) willed| الله - Allah (had) willed| لجعلكم - surely He (could) have made you| أمة - a nation| واحدة - one,| ولكن - but| يضل - He lets go astray| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| ولتسألن - And surely you will be questioned| عما - about what| كنتم - you used (to)| تعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 6 [34:6] | Wayara allatheena ootooalAAilma allathee onzila ilayka min rabbika huwa alhaqqawayahdee ila sirati alAAazeezi alhameedi | ويرى الذين أوتوا العلم الذي أنزل إليك من ربك هو الحق ويهدي إلى صراط العزيز الحميد وَيَرَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ الْحَقَّ وَيَهْدِي إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ | |||||
| Words | |ويرى - And see| الذين - those who| أوتوا - have been given| العلم - the knowledge,| الذي - (that) what| أنزل - is revealed| إليك - to you| من - from| ربك - your Lord| هو - [it]| الحق - (is) the Truth,| ويهدي - and it guides| إلى - to| صراط - (the) Path| العزيز - (of) the All-Mighty,| الحميد - the Praiseworthy.| | ||||||
| 7 [35:8] | Afaman zuyyina lahu soo-o AAamalihi faraahuhasanan fa-inna Allaha yudillu man yashaowayahdee man yashao fala tathhab nafsukaAAalayhim hasaratin inna Allaha AAaleemunbima yasnaAAoona | أفمن زين له سوء عمله فرآه حسنا فإن الله يضل من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء فلا تذهب نفسك عليهم حسرات إن الله عليم بما يصنعون أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَاتٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Then is (he) who -| زين - is made fair-seeming| له - to him| سوء - (the) evil| عمله - (of) his deed -| فرآه - so that he sees it| حسنا - (as) good?| فإن - For indeed,| الله - Allah| يضل - lets go astray| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| فلا - So (let) not| تذهب - go out| نفسك - your soul| عليهم - for them| حسرات - (in) regrets.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بما - of what| يصنعون - they do.| | ||||||
| 8 [42:13] | SharaAAa lakum mina alddeeni mawassa bihi noohan waallathee awhaynailayka wama wassayna bihi ibraheemawamoosa waAAeesa an aqeemoo alddeena walatatafarraqoo feehi kabura AAala almushrikeena matadAAoohum ilayhi Allahu yajtabee ilayhi man yashaowayahdee ilayhi man yuneebu | شرع لكم من الدين ما وصى به نوحا والذي أوحينا إليك وما وصينا به إبراهيم وموسى وعيسى أن أقيموا الدين ولا تتفرقوا فيه كبر على المشركين ما تدعوهم إليه الله يجتبي إليه من يشاء ويهدي إليه من ينيب شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّى بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى وَعِيسَى أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ | |||||
| Words | |شرع - He has ordained| لكم - for you| من - of| الدين - the religion| ما - what| وصى - He enjoined| به - upon| نوحا - Nuh,| والذي - and that which| أوحينا - We have revealed| إليك - to you,| وما - and what| وصينا - We enjoined| به - upon| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وموسى - and Musa| وعيسى - and Isa.| أن - To| أقيموا - establish| الدين - the religion| ولا - and not| تتفرقوا - be divided| فيه - therein.| كبر - Is difficult| على - on| المشركين - the polytheists| ما - what| تدعوهم - you call them| إليه - to it.| الله - Allah| يجتبي - chooses| إليه - for Himself| من - whom| يشاء - He wills,| ويهدي - and guides| إليه - to Himself| من - whoever| ينيب - turns.| | ||||||
| 9 [74:31] | Wama jaAAalna as-habaalnnari illa mala-ikatan wamajaAAalna AAiddatahum illa fitnatan lillatheenakafaroo liyastayqina allatheena ootoo alkitabawayazdada allatheena amanoo eemananwala yartaba allatheena ootoo alkitabawaalmu/minoona waliyaqoola allatheena feequloobihim maradun waalkafiroona mathaarada Allahu bihatha mathalan kathalikayudillu Allahu man yashao wayahdee man yashaowama yaAAlamu junooda rabbika illa huwa wamahiya illa thikra lilbashari | وما جعلنا أصحاب النار إلا ملائكة وما جعلنا عدتهم إلا فتنة للذين كفروا ليستيقن الذين أوتوا الكتاب ويزداد الذين آمنوا إيمانا ولا يرتاب الذين أوتوا الكتاب والمؤمنون وليقول الذين في قلوبهم مرض والكافرون ماذا أراد الله بهذا مثلا كذلك يضل الله من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء وما يعلم جنود ربك إلا هو وما هي إلا ذكرى للبشر وَمَا جَعَلْنَا أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَائِكَةً وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِيْمَانًا وَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْكَافِرُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| جعلنا - We have made| أصحاب - keepers| النار - (of) the Fire| إلا - except| ملائكة - Angels.| وما - And not| جعلنا - We have made| عدتهم - their number| إلا - except| فتنة - (as) a trial| للذين - for those who| كفروا - disbelieve -| ليستيقن - that may be certain| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Scripture| ويزداد - and may increase| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| إيمانا - (in) faith,| ولا - and not| يرتاب - may doubt| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Scripture| والمؤمنون - and the believers,| وليقول - and that may say| الذين - those| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| مرض - (is) a disease| والكافرون - and the disbelievers| ماذا - "What| أراد - (does) intend| الله - Allah| بهذا - by this| مثلا - example?"| كذلك - Thus| يضل - does let go astray| الله - Allah| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| وما - And none| يعلم - knows| جنود - (the) hosts| ربك - (of) your Lord| إلا - except| هو - Him.| وما - And not| هي - it| إلا - (is) but| ذكرى - a reminder| للبشر - to (the) human beings.| | ||||||
