| 1 [20:61] | Qala lahum moosa waylakum lataftaroo AAala Allahi kathiban fayushitakumbiAAathabin waqad khaba mani iftara |  قال لهم موسى ويلكم لا تفتروا على الله كذبا فيسحتكم بعذاب وقد خاب من افترىقَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَى وَيْلَكُمْ لَا تَفْتَرُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا فَيُسْحِتَكُمْ بِعَذَابٍ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ افْتَرَى | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| لهم - to them| موسى - Musa,| ويلكم - "Woe to you!| لا - (Do) not| تفتروا - invent| على - against| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie,| فيسحتكم - lest He will destroy you| بعذاب - with a punishment.| وقد - And verily,| خاب - he failed| من - who| افترى - invented."| | ||||||
| 2 [28:80] | Waqala allatheena ootooalAAilma waylakum thawabu Allahi khayrun liman amanawaAAamila salihan wala yulaqqahailla alssabiroona | وقال الذين أوتوا العلم ويلكم ثواب الله خير لمن آمن وعمل صالحا ولا يلقاها إلا الصابرون وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَيْلَكُمْ ثَوَابُ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنْ آمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَلَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - But said| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| العلم - the knowledge,| ويلكم - "Woe to you!| ثواب - (The) reward| الله - (of) Allah| خير - (is) better| لمن - for (he) who| آمن - believes| وعمل - and does| صالحا - righteous (deeds).| ولا - And not| يلقاها - it is granted| إلا - except| الصابرون - (to) the patient ones."| | ||||||
