بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [28:80] | Waqala allatheena ootooalAAilma waylakum thawabu Allahi khayrun liman amanawaAAamila salihan wala yulaqqahailla alssabiroona
| وقال الذين أوتوا العلم ويلكم ثواب الله خير لمن آمن وعمل صالحا ولا يلقاها إلا الصابرون وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَيْلَكُمْ ثَوَابُ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنْ آمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَلَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ |
Words | |وقال - But said| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| العلم - the knowledge,| ويلكم - "Woe to you!| ثواب - (The) reward| الله - (of) Allah| خير - (is) better| لمن - for (he) who| آمن - believes| وعمل - and does| صالحا - righteous (deeds).| ولا - And not| يلقاها - it is granted| إلا - except| الصابرون - (to) the patient ones."| |

| እነዚያም ዕውቀትን የተሰጡት «ወዮላችሁ! የአላህ ምንዳ ለአመነ ሰው መልካምንም ለሠራ በላጭ ነው፡፡ ታጋሾችም እንጅ ሌላው አያገኛትም» አሉ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وقال } لهم { الذين أوتوا العلم } بما وعد الله في الآخرة { ويلكم } كلمة زجر { ثواب الله } في الآخرة بالجنة { خير لمن آمن وعمل صالحاً } مما أوتي قارون في الدنيا { ولا يلقاها } أي الجنة المثاب بها { إلا الصابرون } على الطاعة وعن المعصية. |
| Wid, iwumi teppunefk tmusni, nnan: "a ssexv nnwen! Ppwab n Öebbi yif it, i win iumnen, ixeddmen ayen ilhan. Ara d iûaê siwa win iûebôen". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যারা জ্ঞান প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তার বলল, ধিক তোমাদেরকে, যারা ঈমানদার এবং সৎকর্মী, তাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর দেয়া সওয়াবই উৎকৃষ্ট। এটা তারাই পায়, যারা সবরকারী। |
Literal | And those who were given the knowledge said: "Your calamity , God's reward/compensation (is) best to who believed, and made/did correct/righteous deeds, and none receives/meets/finds it except the patient." |
Yusuf Ali | But those who had been granted (true) knowledge said: "Alas for you! The reward of Allah (in the Hereafter) is best for those who believe and work righteousness: but this none shall attain, save those who steadfastly persevere (in good)." |
Pickthal | But those who had been given knowledge said: Woe unto you! The reward of Allah for him who believeth and doeth right is better, and only the steadfast will obtain it. |
