| 1 [2:30] | Wa-ith qala rabbuka lilmala-ikatiinnee jaAAilun fee al-ardi khaleefatan qalooatajAAalu feeha man yufsidu feeha wayasfiku alddimaawanahnu nusabbihu bihamdika wanuqaddisu lakaqala innee aAAlamu ma la taAAlamoona |  وإذ قال ربك للملائكة إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة قالوا أتجعل فيها من يفسد فيها ويسفك الدماء ونحن نسبح بحمدك ونقدس لك قال إني أعلم ما لا تعلمونوَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً قَالُواْ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُّفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| ربك - your Lord| للملائكة - to the angels,| إني - "Indeed, I (am)| جاعل - going to place| في - in| الأرض - the earth| خليفة - a vicegerent,| قالوا - they said,| أتجعل - "Will You place| فيها - in it| من - (one) who| يفسد - will spread corruption| فيها - in it| ويسفك - and will shed| الدماء - [the] blood[s],| ونحن - while we,| نسبح - [we] glorify (You)| بحمدك - with Your praises| ونقدس - and we sanctify| لك - [to] You."| قال - He said,| إني - "Indeed, I| أعلم - [I] know| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:133] | Am kuntum shuhadaa ith hadarayaAAqooba almawtu ith qala libaneehi mataAAbudoona min baAAdee qaloo naAAbudu ilahakawa-ilaha aba-ika ibraheema wa-ismaAAeelawa-ishaqa ilahan wahidan wanahnu lahumuslimoona | أم كنتم شهداء إذ حضر يعقوب الموت إذ قال لبنيه ما تعبدون من بعدي قالوا نعبد إلهك وإله آبائك إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق إلها واحدا ونحن له مسلمون أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن بَعْدِي قَالُواْ نَعْبُدُ إِلَـهَكَ وَإِلَـهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ إِلَـهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| كنتم - were you| شهداء - witnesses| إذ - when| حضر - came to| يعقوب - Yaqub| الموت - [the] death,| إذ - when| قال - he said| لبنيه - to his sons,| ما - "What| تعبدون - will you worship| من - from| بعدي - after me?"| قالوا - They said,| نعبد - "We will worship| إلهك - your God| وإله - and (the) God| آبائك - (of) your forefathers,| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael| وإسحاق - and Isaac -| إلها - God| واحدا - One.| ونحن - And we| له - to Him| مسلمون - (are) submissive."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:136] | Qooloo amanna biAllahiwama onzila ilayna wama onzila ilaibraheema wa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqawayaAAqooba waal-asbati wama ootiya moosawaAAeesa wama ootiya alnnabiyyoona minrabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnulahu muslimoona | قولوا آمنا بالله وما أنزل إلينا وما أنزل إلى إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق ويعقوب والأسباط وما أوتي موسى وعيسى وما أوتي النبيون من ربهم لا نفرق بين أحد منهم ونحن له مسلمون قُولُواْ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَمَا أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قولوا - Say,| آمنا - "We have believed| بالله - in Allah| وما - and what| أنزل - (is) revealed| إلينا - to us| وما - and what| أنزل - was revealed| إلى - to| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael| وإسحاق - and Isaac| ويعقوب - and Yaqub| والأسباط - and the descendants,| وما - and what| أوتي - was given| موسى - (to) Musa| وعيسى - and Isa| وما - and what| أوتي - was given| النبيون - (to) the Prophets| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| لا - Not| نفرق - we make distinction| بين - between| أحد - any| منهم - of them.| ونحن - And we| له - to Him| مسلمون - (are) submissive."| | ||||||
| 4 [2:138] | Sibghata Allahi waman ahsanumina Allahi sibghatan wanahnu lahu AAabidoona | صبغة الله ومن أحسن من الله صبغة ونحن له عابدون صِبْغَةَ اللّهِ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللّهِ صِبْغَةً وَنَحْنُ لَهُ عَابِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |صبغة - (The) color (religion)| الله - (of) Allah!| ومن - And who| أحسن - (is) better| من - than| الله - Allah| صبغة - at coloring?| ونحن - And we| له - to Him| عابدون - (are) worshippers.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:139] | Qul atuhajjoonana fee Allahiwahuwa rabbuna warabbukum walana aAAmalunawalakum aAAmalukum wanahnu lahu mukhlisoona | قل أتحاجوننا في الله وهو ربنا وربكم ولنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم ونحن له مخلصون قُلْ أَتُحَآجُّونَنَا فِي اللّهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُخْلِصُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أتحاجوننا - "Do you argue with us| في - about| الله - Allah| وهو - while He| ربنا - (is) our Lord| وربكم - and your Lord?| ولنا - And for us| أعمالنا - (are) our deeds| ولكم - and for you| أعمالكم - (are) your deeds| ونحن - and we| له - to Him| مخلصون - (are) sincere.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:247] | Waqala lahum nabiyyuhum inna Allahaqad baAAatha lakum taloota malikan qaloo annayakoonu lahu almulku AAalayna wanahnu ahaqqubialmulki minhu walam yu/ta saAAatan mina almali qalainna Allaha istafahu AAalaykum wazadahubastatan fee alAAilmi waaljismi waAllahuyu/tee mulkahu man yashao waAllahu wasiAAunAAaleemun | وقال لهم نبيهم إن الله قد بعث لكم طالوت ملكا قالوا أنى يكون له الملك علينا ونحن أحق بالملك منه ولم يؤت سعة من المال قال إن الله اصطفاه عليكم وزاده بسطة في العلم والجسم والله يؤتي ملكه من يشاء والله واسع عليم وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ قَدْ بَعَثَ لَكُمْ طَالُوتَ مَلِكًا قَالُواْ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِالْمُلْكِ مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُؤْتَ سَعَةً مِّنَ الْمَالِ قَالَ إِنَّ اللّهَ اصْطَفَاهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَزَادَهُ بَسْطَةً فِي الْعِلْمِ وَالْجِسْمِ وَاللّهُ يُؤْتِي مُلْكَهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| لهم - to them| نبيهم - their Prophet,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| قد - (has) surely| بعث - raised| لكم - for you| طالوت - Talut| ملكا - (as) a king."| قالوا - They said,| أنى - How| يكون - can be| له - for him| الملك - the kingship| علينا - over us,| ونحن - while we| أحق - (are) more entitled| بالملك - to kingship| منه - than him,| ولم - and not| يؤت - he has been given| سعة - abundance| من - of| المال - [the] wealth?"| قال - He said,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| اصطفاه - has chosen him| عليكم - over you| وزاده - and increased him| بسطة - abundantly| في - in| العلم - [the] knowledge| والجسم - and [the] physique.| والله - And Allah| يؤتي - gives| ملكه - His kingdom| من - (to) whom| يشاء - He wills.| والله - And Allah| واسع - (is) All-Encompassing,| عليم - All-Knowing."| | ||||||
| 7 [3:84] | Qul amanna biAllahiwama onzila AAalayna wama onzila AAalaibraheema wa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqawayaAAqooba waal-asbati wama ootiya moosawaAAeesa waalnnabiyyoona min rabbihim lanufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnu lahumuslimoona | قل آمنا بالله وما أنزل علينا وما أنزل على إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق ويعقوب والأسباط وما أوتي موسى وعيسى والنبيون من ربهم لا نفرق بين أحد منهم ونحن له مسلمون قُلْ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||

| 8 [3:181] | Laqad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatheenaqaloo inna Allaha faqeerun wanahnu aghniyaonsanaktubu ma qaloo waqatlahumu al-anbiyaabighayri haqqin wanaqoolu thooqoo AAathabaalhareeqi | لقد سمع الله قول الذين قالوا إن الله فقير ونحن أغنياء سنكتب ما قالوا وقتلهم الأنبياء بغير حق ونقول ذوقوا عذاب الحريق لَّقَدْ سَمِعَ اللّهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ فَقِيرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَاءُ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُواْ وَقَتْلَهُمُ الأَنبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly,| سمع - heard| الله - Allah| قول - (the) saying| الذين - (of) those who| قالوا - said,| إن - "Indeed| الله - Allah| فقير - (is) poor| ونحن - while we| أغنياء - (are) rich."| سنكتب - We will record| ما - what| قالوا - they said| وقتلهم - and their killing| الأنبياء - the Prophets| بغير - without| حق - (any) right,| ونقول - and We will say,| ذوقوا - "Taste| عذاب - (the) punishment| الحريق - (of) the Burning Fire."| | ||||||
| 9 [9:52] | Qul hal tarabbasoona bina illaihda alhusnayayni wanahnu natarabbasubikum an yuseebakumu Allahu biAAathabin minAAindihi aw bi-aydeena fatarabbasoo innamaAAakum mutarabbisoona | قل هل تربصون بنا إلا إحدى الحسنيين ونحن نتربص بكم أن يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده أو بأيدينا فتربصوا إنا معكم متربصون قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَا إِلاَّ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ اللّهُ بِعَذَابٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ أَوْ بِأَيْدِينَا فَتَرَبَّصُواْ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| هل - "Do| تربصون - you await| بنا - for us| إلا - except| إحدى - one| الحسنيين - (of) the two best (things)| ونحن - while we| نتربص - [we] await| بكم - for you| أن - that| يصيبكم - Allah will afflict you| الله - Allah will afflict you| بعذاب - with a punishment| من - from| عنده - [near] Him,| أو - or| بأيدينا - by our hands?| فتربصوا - So wait,| إنا - indeed, we| معكم - with you| متربصون - (are) waiting."| | ||||||
| 10 [12:8] | Ith qaloo layoosufu waakhoohu ahabbuila abeena minna wanahnu AAusbatuninna abana lafee dalalin mubeenin | إذ قالوا ليوسف وأخوه أحب إلى أبينا منا ونحن عصبة إن أبانا لفي ضلال مبين إِذْ قَالُواْ لَيُوسُفُ وَأَخُوهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَى أَبِينَا مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِي ضَلاَلٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قالوا - they said,| ليوسف - "Surely Yusuf| وأخوه - and his brother| أحب - (are) more beloved| إلى - to| أبينا - our father| منا - than we,| ونحن - while we| عصبة - (are) a group.| إن - Indeed,| أبانا - our father| لفي - (is) surely in| ضلال - an error| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 11 [12:14] | Qaloo la-in akalahu alththi/buwanahnu AAusbatun inna ithan lakhasiroona | قالوا لئن أكله الذئب ونحن عصبة إنا إذا لخاسرون قَالُواْ لَئِنْ أَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّخَاسِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| لئن - "If| أكله - eats him| الذئب - the wolf| ونحن - while we| عصبة - (are) a group,| إنا - indeed, we| إذا - then| لخاسرون - surely (would be) losers."| | ||||||
| 12 [15:23] | Wa-inna lanahnu nuhyeewanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona | وإنا لنحن نحيي ونميت ونحن الوارثون وَإنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإنا - And indeed, We,| لنحن - surely [We]| نحيي - We give life| ونميت - and We cause death,| ونحن - and We| الوارثون - (are) the Inheritors.| | ||||||
| 13 [29:46] | Wala tujadiloo ahla alkitabiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu illa allatheenathalamoo minhum waqooloo amanna biallatheeonzila ilayna waonzila ilaykum wa-ilahunawa-ilahukum wahidun wanahnu lahu muslimoona | ولا تجادلوا أهل الكتاب إلا بالتي هي أحسن إلا الذين ظلموا منهم وقولوا آمنا بالذي أنزل إلينا وأنزل إليكم وإلهنا وإلهكم واحد ونحن له مسلمون وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِالَّذِي أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَهُنَا وَإِلَهُكُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تجادلوا - argue| أهل - (with the) People of the Book| الكتاب - (with the) People of the Book| إلا - except| بالتي - by which| هي - [it]| أحسن - (is) best,| إلا - except| الذين - those who| ظلموا - (do) wrong| منهم - among them,| وقولوا - and say,| آمنا - "We believe| بالذي - in that (which)| أنزل - has been revealed| إلينا - to us| وأنزل - and was revealed| إليكم - to you.| وإلهنا - And our God| وإلهكم - and your God| واحد - (is) One,| ونحن - and we| له - to Him| مسلمون - submit."| | ||||||
| 14 [50:16] | Walaqad khalaqna al-insanawanaAAlamu ma tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu wanahnu aqrabuilayhi min habli alwareedi | ولقد خلقنا الإنسان ونعلم ما توسوس به نفسه ونحن أقرب إليه من حبل الوريد وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| خلقنا - We created| الإنسان - man| ونعلم - and We know| ما - what| توسوس - whispers| به - to him| نفسه - his soul,| ونحن - and We| أقرب - (are) nearer| إليه - to him| من - than| حبل - (his) jugular vein.| الوريد - (his) jugular vein.| | ||||||
| 15 [56:85] | Wanahnu aqrabu ilayhi minkum walakinla tubsiroona | ونحن أقرب إليه منكم ولكن لا تبصرون وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
