| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[50:16] | Walaqad khalaqna al-insanawanaAAlamu ma tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu wanahnu aqrabuilayhi min habli alwareedi
|  ولقد خلقنا الإنسان ونعلم ما توسوس به نفسه ونحن أقرب إليه من حبل الوريد
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ |
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| خلقنا - We created| الإنسان - man| ونعلم - and We know| ما - what| توسوس - whispers| به - to him| نفسه - his soul,| ونحن - and We| أقرب - (are) nearer| إليه - to him| من - than| حبل - (his) jugular vein.| الوريد - (his) jugular vein.| |

| ሰውንም ነፍሱ (በሐሳቡ) የምታጫውተውን የምናውቅ ስንኾን በእርግጥ ፈጠርነው፤ እኛም ከደም ጋኑ ጅማት ይበልጥ ወደርሱ ቅርብ ነን፡፡ |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি মানুষ সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তার মন নিভৃতে যে কুচিন্তা করে, সে সম্বন্ধেও আমি অবগত আছি। আমি তার গ্রীবাস্থিত ধমনী থেকেও অধিক নিকটবর্তী। |
| Literal | And We had (E) created the human/mankind, and we know what his self inspires and talks with it, and We are nearer/closer to him than the jugular vein (which carries deoxygenated blood to the heart). |
