| 1 [2:90] | Bi/sama ishtaraw bihi anfusahum anyakfuroo bima anzala Allahu baghyan an yunazzilaAllahu min fadlihi AAala man yashaomin AAibadihi fabaoo bighadabin AAalaghadabin walilkafireena AAathabun muheenun |  بئسما اشتروا به أنفسهم أن يكفروا بما أنزل الله بغيا أن ينزل الله من فضله على من يشاء من عباده فباءوا بغضب على غضب وللكافرين عذاب مهينبِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْاْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ أَنْ يَّكْفُرُواْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللّهُ بَغْياً أَنْ يُّنَزِّلُ اللّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ عَلَى مَنْ يَّشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ فَبَآؤُواْ بِغَضَبٍ عَلَى غَضَبٍ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |بئسما - Evil (is) that| اشتروا - (for) which they have sold| به - with| أنفسهم - themselves,| أن - that| يكفروا - they disbelieve| بما - in what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,| بغيا - grudging| أن - that| ينزل - sends down| الله - Allah| من - of| فضله - His Grace| على - on| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| من - from| عباده - His servants.| فباءوا - So they have drawn (on themselves)| بغضب - wrath| على - upon| غضب - wrath.| وللكافرين - And for the disbelievers| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:104] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola taqooloo raAAina waqooloo onthurnawaismaAAoo walilkafireena AAathabun aleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تقولوا راعنا وقولوا انظرنا واسمعوا وللكافرين عذاب أليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَقُولُواْ رَاعِنَا وَقُولُواْ انظُرْنَا وَاسْمَعُوا ْوَلِلكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - "(Do) not| تقولوا - say| راعنا - "Raina"| وقولوا - and say| انظرنا - "Unzurna"| واسمعوا - and listen.| وللكافرين - And for the disbelievers| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 3 [47:10] | Afalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihimdammara Allahu AAalayhim walilkafireena amthaluha | أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم دمر الله عليهم وللكافرين أمثالها أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ دَمَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ أَمْثَالُهَا | |||||

| 4 [58:4] | Faman lam yajid fasiyamushahrayni mutatabiAAayni min qabli an yatamassafaman lam yastatiAA fa-itAAamu sitteenamiskeenan thalika litu/minoo biAllahiwarasoolihi watilka hudoodu Allahi walilkafireenaAAathabun aleemun | فمن لم يجد فصيام شهرين متتابعين من قبل أن يتماسا فمن لم يستطع فإطعام ستين مسكينا ذلك لتؤمنوا بالله ورسوله وتلك حدود الله وللكافرين عذاب أليم فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَاسَّا فَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَإِطْعَامُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا ذَلِكَ لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then whoever| لم - (does) not| يجد - find,| فصيام - then fasting| شهرين - (for) two months| متتابعين - consecutively| من - before| قبل - before| أن - [that]| يتماسا - they both touch each other.| فمن - But (he) who| لم - not| يستطع - is able| فإطعام - then (the) feeding| ستين - (of) sixty| مسكينا - needy one(s).| ذلك - That -| لتؤمنوا - so that you may believe| بالله - in Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| وتلك - and these| حدود - (are the) limits| الله - (of) Allah,| وللكافرين - and for the disbelievers| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 5 [58:5] | Inna allatheena yuhaddoona Allahawarasoolahu kubitoo kama kubita allatheena minqablihim waqad anzalna ayatin bayyinatinwalilkafireena AAathabun muheenun | إن الذين يحادون الله ورسوله كبتوا كما كبت الذين من قبلهم وقد أنزلنا آيات بينات وللكافرين عذاب مهين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحَادُّونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ كُبِتُوا كَمَا كُبِتَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||
