| 1 [3:146] | Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatalamaAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahumfee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wamaistakanoo waAllahu yuhibbu alssabireena |  وكأين من نبي قاتل معه ربيون كثير فما وهنوا لما أصابهم في سبيل الله وما ضعفوا وما استكانوا والله يحب الصابرينوَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُواْ لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُواْ وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - from| نبي - a Prophet| قاتل - fought;| معه - with him| ربيون - (were) religious scholars| كثير - many.| فما - But not| وهنوا - they lost heart| لما - for what| أصابهم - befell them| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وما - and not| ضعفوا - they weakened| وما - and not| استكانوا - they gave in.| والله - And Allah| يحب - loves| الصابرين - the patient ones.| | ||||||
| 2 [12:105] | Wakaayyin min ayatin fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi yamurroona AAalayha wahum AAanhamuAAridoona | وكأين من آية في السماوات والأرض يمرون عليها وهم عنها معرضون وَكَأَيِّن مِّن آيَةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهَا وَهُمْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - of| آية - a Sign| في - in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| يمرون - they pass| عليها - over it,| وهم - while they| عنها - (are) from them| معرضون - the ones who turn away.| | ||||||
| 3 [22:48] | Wakaayyin min qaryatin amlaytu lahawahiya thalimatun thumma akhathtuhawa-ilayya almaseeru | وكأين من قرية أمليت لها وهي ظالمة ثم أخذتها وإلي المصير وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهَا وَإِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - of| قرية - a township| أمليت - I gave respite| لها - to it,| وهي - while it| ظالمة - (was) doing wrong.| ثم - Then| أخذتها - I seized it| وإلي - and to Me| المصير - (is) the destination.| | ||||||
| 4 [29:60] | Wakaayyin min dabbatin la tahmilurizqaha Allahu yarzuquha wa-iyyakumwahuwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu | وكأين من دابة لا تحمل رزقها الله يرزقها وإياكم وهو السميع العليم وَكَأَيِّن مِن دَابَّةٍ لَا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - of| دابة - a creature| لا - (does) not| تحمل - carry| رزقها - its provision.| الله - Allah| يرزقها - provides (for) it| وإياكم - and (for) you.| وهو - And He| السميع - (is) the All-Hearer,| العليم - the All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 5 [47:13] | Wakaayyin min qaryatin hiya ashaddu quwwatanmin qaryatika allatee akhrajatka ahlaknahum fala nasiralahum | وكأين من قرية هي أشد قوة من قريتك التي أخرجتك أهلكناهم فلا ناصر لهم وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِّن قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - of| قرية - a town,| هي - which| أشد - (was) stronger| قوة - (in) strength| من - than| قريتك - your town| التي - which| أخرجتك - has driven you out?| أهلكناهم - We destroyed them,| فلا - so no| ناصر - helper| لهم - for them.| | ||||||
| 6 [65:8] | Wakaayyin min qaryatin AAatat AAan amrirabbiha warusulihi fahasabnaha hisabanshadeedan waAAaththabnaha AAathabannukran | وكأين من قرية عتت عن أمر ربها ورسله فحاسبناها حسابا شديدا وعذبناها عذابا نكرا وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِ فَحَاسَبْنَاهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيدًا وَعَذَّبْنَاهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - of| قرية - a town| عتت - rebelled| عن - against| أمر - (the) Command| ربها - (of) its Lord| ورسله - and His Messengers,| فحاسبناها - so We took it to account,| حسابا - an account| شديدا - severe;| وعذبناها - and We punished it,| عذابا - a punishment| نكرا - terrible.| | ||||||
