| 1 [3:79] | Ma kana libasharin anyu/tiyahu Allahu alkitaba waalhukmawaalnnubuwwata thumma yaqoola lilnnasikoonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakinkoonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoonaalkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoona |  ما كان لبشر أن يؤتيه الله الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ثم يقول للناس كونوا عبادا لي من دون الله ولكن كونوا ربانيين بما كنتم تعلمون الكتاب وبما كنتم تدرسونمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُؤْتِيَهُ اللّهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُواْ عِبَادًا لِّي مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِن كُونُواْ رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - is| لبشر - for a human| أن - that| يؤتيه - gives him| الله - Allah| الكتاب - the Book,| والحكم - and the wisdom,| والنبوة - and the Prophethood,| ثم - then| يقول - he says| للناس - to the people,| كونوا - "Be| عبادا - worshippers| لي - of me| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| ولكن - but (would say)| كونوا - "Be| ربانيين - worshippers of the Lord| بما - because| كنتم - you have been| تعلمون - teaching| الكتاب - the Book| وبما - and because| كنتم - you have been| تدرسون - studying (it)."| | ||||||
| 2 [4:34] | Alrrijalu qawwamoonaAAala alnnisa-i bima faddalaAllahu baAAdahum AAala baAAdin wabimaanfaqoo min amwalihim faalssalihatu qanitatunhafithatun lilghaybi bima hafithaAllahu waallatee takhafoonanushoozahunna faAAithoohunna waohjuroohunnafee almadajiAAi waidriboohunna fa-in ataAAnakumfala tabghoo AAalayhinna sabeelan inna Allaha kanaAAaliyyan kabeeran | الرجال قوامون على النساء بما فضل الله بعضهم على بعض وبما أنفقوا من أموالهم فالصالحات قانتات حافظات للغيب بما حفظ الله واللاتي تخافون نشوزهن فعظوهن واهجروهن في المضاجع واضربوهن فإن أطعنكم فلا تبغوا عليهن سبيلا إن الله كان عليا كبيرا الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنفَقُواْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ فَالصَّالِحَاتُ قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللّهُ وَاللاَّتِي تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَاهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِي الْمَضَاجِعِ وَاضْرِبُوهُنَّ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلاَ تَبْغُواْ عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلاً إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |الرجال - [The] men| قوامون - (are) protectors| على - of| النساء - the women| بما - because| فضل - (has) bestowed| الله - Allah| بعضهم - some of them| على - over| بعض - others| وبما - and because| أنفقوا - they spend| من - from| أموالهم - their wealth.| فالصالحات - So the righteous women| قانتات - (are) obedient,| حافظات - guarding| للغيب - in the unseen| بما - that which| حفظ - (orders) them to guard| الله - (by) Allah.| واللاتي - And those (from) whom| تخافون - you fear| نشوزهن - their ill-conduct| فعظوهن - then advise them,| واهجروهن - and forsake them| في - in| المضاجع - the bed| واضربوهن - and [finally] strike them.| فإن - Then if| أطعنكم - they obey you| فلا - then (do) not| تبغوا - seek| عليهن - against them| سبيلا - a way.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليا - Most High,| كبيرا - Most Great.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:77] | FaaAAqabahum nifaqan fee quloobihimila yawmi yalqawnahu bima akhlafoo Allaha mawaAAadoohu wabima kanoo yakthiboona | فأعقبهم نفاقا في قلوبهم إلى يوم يلقونه بما أخلفوا الله ما وعدوه وبما كانوا يكذبون فَأَعْقَبَهُمْ نِفَاقًا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَوْنَهُ بِمَا أَخْلَفُواْ اللّهَ مَا وَعَدُوهُ وَبِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأعقبهم - So He penalized them| نفاقا - (with) hypocrisy| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| إلى - until| يوم - the day| يلقونه - when they will meet Him,| بما - because| أخلفوا - they broke| الله - (the covenant with) Allah| ما - what| وعدوه - they had promised Him,| وبما - and because| كانوا - they used to| يكذبون - lie.| | ||||||
| 4 [40:70] | Allatheena kaththaboo bialkitabiwabima arsalna bihi rusulana fasawfayaAAlamoona | الذين كذبوا بالكتاب وبما أرسلنا به رسلنا فسوف يعلمون الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِالْكِتَابِ وَبِمَا أَرْسَلْنَا بِهِ رُسُلَنَا فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| كذبوا - deny| بالكتاب - the Book| وبما - and with what| أرسلنا - We sent| به - with it| رسلنا - Our Messengers;| فسوف - but soon| يعلمون - they will know.| | ||||||
| 5 [40:75] | Thalikum bima kuntum tafrahoonafee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi wabima kuntumtamrahoona | ذلكم بما كنتم تفرحون في الأرض بغير الحق وبما كنتم تمرحون ذَلِكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَمْرَحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ذلكم - "That was| بما - because| كنتم - you used to| تفرحون - rejoice| في - in| الأرض - the earth| بغير - without| الحق - right| وبما - and because| كنتم - you used to| تمرحون - be insolent.| | ||||||
| 6 [46:20] | Wayawma yuAAradu allatheenakafaroo AAala alnnari athhabtum tayyibatikumfee hayatikumu alddunya waistamtaAAtumbiha faalyawma tujzawna AAathaba alhooni bimakuntum tastakbiroona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqiwabima kuntum tafsuqoona | ويوم يعرض الذين كفروا على النار أذهبتم طيباتكم في حياتكم الدنيا واستمتعتم بها فاليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تستكبرون في الأرض بغير الحق وبما كنتم تفسقون وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَلَى النَّارِ أَذْهَبْتُمْ طَيِّبَاتِكُمْ فِي حَيَاتِكُمُ الدُّنْيَا وَاسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِهَا فَالْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| يعرض - will be exposed| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| على - to| النار - the Fire.| أذهبتم - "You exhausted| طيباتكم - your good things| في - in| حياتكم - your life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| واستمتعتم - and you took your pleasures| بها - therein.| فاليوم - So today| تجزون - you will be recompensed| عذاب - (with) a punishment| الهون - humiliating| بما - because| كنتم - you were| تستكبرون - arrogant| في - in| الأرض - the earth| بغير - without| الحق - [the] right| وبما - and because| كنتم - you were| تفسقون - defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
