| 1 [6:96] | Faliqu al-isbahiwajaAAala allayla sakanan waalshshamsa waalqamara husbananthalika taqdeeru alAAazeezi alAAaleemi |  فالق الإصباح وجعل الليل سكنا والشمس والقمر حسبانا ذلك تقدير العزيز العليمفَالِقُ الْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |فالق - (He is the) Cleaver| الإصباح - (of) the daybreak| وجعل - and He has made| الليل - the night| سكنا - (for) rest| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon| حسبانا - (for) reckoning.| ذلك - That| تقدير - (is the) ordaining| العزيز - (of) the All-Mighty,| العليم - the All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:54] | Inna rabbakumu Allahu allatheekhalaqa alssamawati waal-ardafee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAalaalAAarshi yughshee allayla alnnahara yatlubuhuhatheethan waalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujoomamusakhkharatin bi-amrihi ala lahu alkhalqu waal-amrutabaraka Allahu rabbu alAAalameena | إن ربكم الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض في ستة أيام ثم استوى على العرش يغشي الليل النهار يطلبه حثيثا والشمس والقمر والنجوم مسخرات بأمره ألا له الخلق والأمر تبارك الله رب العالمين إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ أَلاَ لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| ربكم - your Lord| الله - (is) Allah| الذي - the One Who| خلق - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| في - in| ستة - six| أيام - epochs,| ثم - then| استوى - He ascended| على - on| العرش - the Throne.| يغشي - He covers| الليل - the night| النهار - (with) the day| يطلبه - seeking it| حثيثا - rapidly| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon| والنجوم - and the stars -| مسخرات - subjected| بأمره - by His command.| ألا - Unquestionably| له - for Him| الخلق - (is) the creation| والأمر - and the command,| تبارك - blessed| الله - (is) Allah,| رب - Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds.| | ||||||
| 3 [12:4] | Ith qala yoosufu li-abeehi yaabati innee raaytu ahada AAashara kawkaban waalshshamsawaalqamara raaytuhum lee sajideena | إذ قال يوسف لأبيه يا أبت إني رأيت أحد عشر كوكبا والشمس والقمر رأيتهم لي ساجدين إِذْ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكَبًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ رَأَيْتُهُمْ لِي سَاجِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قال - said| يوسف - Yusuf| لأبيه - to his father,| يا - O| أبت - "O my father!| إني - Indeed, I| رأيت - I saw| أحد - eleven| عشر - eleven| كوكبا - stars| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon;| رأيتهم - I saw them| لي - to me| ساجدين - prostrating."| | ||||||
| 4 [16:12] | Wasakhkhara lakumu allayla waalnnaharawaalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujoomumusakhkharatun bi-amrihi inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yaAAqiloona | وسخر لكم الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر والنجوم مسخرات بأمره إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يعقلون وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالْنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالْنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِأَمْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وسخر - And He has subjected| لكم - for you| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon,| والنجوم - and the stars| مسخرات - (are) subjected| بأمره - by His command.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) signs| لقوم - for a people| يعقلون - who use reason.| | ||||||
| 5 [21:33] | Wahuwa allathee khalaqa allayla waalnnaharawaalshshamsa waalqamara kullun fee falakin yasbahoona | وهو الذي خلق الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر كل في فلك يسبحون وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلق - created| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon;| كل - each| في - in| فلك - an orbit| يسبحون - floating.| | ||||||
| 6 [22:18] | Alam tara anna Allaha yasjudu lahuman fee alssamawati waman fee al-ardiwaalshshamsu waalqamaru waalnnujoomu waaljibaluwaalshshajaru waalddawabbu wakatheerun minaalnnasi wakatheerun haqqa AAalayhi alAAathabuwaman yuhini Allahu fama lahu min mukrimin inna AllahayafAAalu ma yasha/o | ألم تر أن الله يسجد له من في السماوات ومن في الأرض والشمس والقمر والنجوم والجبال والشجر والدواب وكثير من الناس وكثير حق عليه العذاب ومن يهن الله فما له من مكرم إن الله يفعل ما يشاء أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ وَالنُّجُومُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَالدَّوَابُّ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنَ النَّاسِ وَكَثِيرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ الْعَذَابُ وَمَن يُهِنِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن مُّكْرِمٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| أن - that| الله - (to) Allah| يسجد - prostrates| له - to Him| من - whoever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| ومن - and whoever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth,| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon| والنجوم - and the stars| والجبال - and the mountains,| والشجر - and the trees| والدواب - and the moving creatures| وكثير - and many| من - of| الناس - the people?| وكثير - But many -| حق - (is) justly due| عليه - on him| العذاب - the punishment.| ومن - And whoever| يهن - Allah humiliates| الله - Allah humiliates| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| مكرم - bestower of honor.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يفعل - does| ما - what| يشاء - He wills| | ||||||
| 7 [36:38] | Waalshshamsu tajree limustaqarrin lahathalika taqdeeru alAAazeezi alAAaleemi | والشمس تجري لمستقر لها ذلك تقدير العزيز العليم وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |والشمس - And the sun| تجري - runs| لمستقر - to a term appointed| لها - for it.| ذلك - That| تقدير - (is the) Decree| العزيز - (of) the All-Mighty,| العليم - the All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 8 [41:37] | Wamin ayatihi allaylu waalnnaharuwaalshshamsu waalqamaru la tasjudoo lilshshamsiwala lilqamari waosjudoo lillahi alatheekhalaqahunna in kuntum iyyahu taAAbudoona | ومن آياته الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر لا تسجدوا للشمس ولا للقمر واسجدوا لله الذي خلقهن إن كنتم إياه تعبدون وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ لَا تَسْجُدُوا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُنَّ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And of| آياته - His Signs| الليل - (are) the night| والنهار - and the day| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon.| لا - (Do) not| تسجدوا - prostrate| للشمس - to the sun| ولا - and not| للقمر - to the moon,| واسجدوا - but prostrate| لله - to Allah| الذي - the One Who| خلقهن - created them,| إن - if| كنتم - you,| إياه - Him alone,| تعبدون - worship.| | ||||||
