| 1 [4:163] | Inna awhayna ilaykakama awhayna ila noohin waalnnabiyyeenamin baAAdihi waawhayna ila ibraheemawa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqa wayaAAqooba waal-asbatiwaAAeesa waayyooba wayoonusa waharoona wasulaymanawaatayna dawooda zabooran |  إنا أوحينا إليك كما أوحينا إلى نوح والنبيين من بعده وأوحينا إلى إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق ويعقوب والأسباط وعيسى وأيوب ويونس وهارون وسليمان وآتينا داوود زبوراإِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإْسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَى وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, We| أوحينا - have revealed| إليك - to you| كما - as| أوحينا - We revealed| إلى - to| نوح - Nuh| والنبيين - and the Prophets| من - from| بعده - after him,| وأوحينا - and We revealed| إلى - to| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael,| وإسحاق - and Isaac| ويعقوب - and Yaqub,| والأسباط - and the tribes,| وعيسى - and Isa| وأيوب - and Ayyub,| ويونس - and Yunus,| وهارون - and Harun| وسليمان - and Sulaiman| وآتينا - and We gave| داوود - (to) Dawood| زبورا - the Zaboor.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:117] | Waawhayna ila moosaan alqi AAasaka fa-itha hiya talqafu maya/fikoona | وأوحينا إلى موسى أن ألق عصاك فإذا هي تلقف ما يأفكون وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأوحينا - And We inspired| إلى - to| موسى - Musa| أن - that,| ألق - "Throw| عصاك - your staff,"| فإذا - and suddenly| هي - it| تلقف - swallow(ed)| ما - what| يأفكون - they (were) falsifying.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:160] | WaqattaAAnahumu ithnatayAAashrata asbatan omaman waawhayna ilamoosa ithi istasqahu qawmuhu ani idribbiAAasaka alhajara fainbajasat minhu ithnataAAashrata AAaynan qad AAalima kullu onasin mashrabahum wathallalnaAAalayhimu alghamama waanzalna AAalayhimu almannawaalssalwa kuloo min tayyibati marazaqnakum wama thalamoona walakinkanoo anfusahum yathlimoona | وقطعناهم اثنتي عشرة أسباطا أمما وأوحينا إلى موسى إذ استسقاه قومه أن اضرب بعصاك الحجر فانبجست منه اثنتا عشرة عينا قد علم كل أناس مشربهم وظللنا عليهم الغمام وأنزلنا عليهم المن والسلوى كلوا من طيبات ما رزقناكم وما ظلمونا ولكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمون وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمُ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ أَسْبَاطًا أُمَمًا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى إِذِ اسْتَسْقَاهُ قَوْمُهُ أَنِ اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْحَجَرَ فَانبَجَسَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الْغَمَامَ وَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَى كُلُواْ مِن طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَـكِن كَانُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقطعناهم - And We divided them| اثنتي - (into) two| عشرة - (and) ten [i.e. twelve]| أسباطا - tribes| أمما - (as) communities.| وأوحينا - And We inspired| إلى - to| موسى - Musa,| إذ - when| استسقاه - asked him for water| قومه - his people,| أن - [that]| اضرب - "Strike| بعصاك - with your staff| الحجر - the stone."| فانبجست - Then gushed forth| منه - from it| اثنتا - two| عشرة - (and) ten [i.e. twelve]| عينا - springs.| قد - Certainly,| علم - knew| كل - each| أناس - people| مشربهم - their drinking place.| وظللنا - And We shaded| عليهم - [on] them| الغمام - (with) the clouds| وأنزلنا - and We sent down| عليهم - upon them,| المن - the manna| والسلوى - and the quails.| كلوا - "Eat| من - from| طيبات - (the) good things| ما - which| رزقناكم - We have provided you."| وما - And not| ظلمونا - they wronged Us| ولكن - but| كانوا - they were| أنفسهم - (to) themselves| يظلمون - doing wrong.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:87] | Waawhayna ila moosawaakheehi an tabawwaa liqawmikuma bimisrabuyootan waijAAaloo buyootakum qiblatan waaqeemoo alssalatawabashshiri almu/mineena | وأوحينا إلى موسى وأخيه أن تبوآ لقومكما بمصر بيوتا واجعلوا بيوتكم قبلة وأقيموا الصلاة وبشر المؤمنين وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى وَأَخِيهِ أَن تَبَوَّءَا لِقَوْمِكُمَا بِمِصْرَ بُيُوتًا وَاجْعَلُواْ بُيُوتَكُمْ قِبْلَةً وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وأوحينا - And We inspired| إلى - to| موسى - Musa| وأخيه - and his brother| أن - that,| تبوآ - "Settle| لقومكما - your people| بمصر - in Egypt| بيوتا - (in) houses,| واجعلوا - and make| بيوتكم - your houses| قبلة - (as) places of worship,| وأقيموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer.| وبشر - And give glad tidings| المؤمنين - (to) the believers."| | ||||||
| 5 [12:15] | Falamma thahaboo bihiwaajmaAAoo an yajAAaloohu fee ghayabati aljubbi waawhaynailayhi latunabi-annahum bi-amrihim hatha wahum layashAAuroona | فلما ذهبوا به وأجمعوا أن يجعلوه في غيابت الجب وأوحينا إليه لتنبئنهم بأمرهم هذا وهم لا يشعرون فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُواْ بِهِ وَأَجْمَعُواْ أَن يَجْعَلُوهُ فِي غَيَابَةِ الْجُبِّ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُم بِأَمْرِهِمْ هَـذَا وَهُمْ لاَ يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| ذهبوا - they took him| به - they took him| وأجمعوا - and agreed| أن - that| يجعلوه - they put him| في - in| غيابت - (the) bottom| الجب - (of) the well.| وأوحينا - But We inspired| إليه - to him,| لتنبئنهم - "Surely, you will inform them| بأمرهم - about this affair,| هذا - about this affair,| وهم - while they| لا - (do) not| يشعرون - perceive."| | ||||||
| 6 [21:73] | WajaAAalnahum a-immatan yahdoonabi-amrina waawhayna ilayhim fiAAla alkhayratiwa-iqama alssalati wa-eetaa alzzakatiwakanoo lana AAabideena | وجعلناهم أئمة يهدون بأمرنا وأوحينا إليهم فعل الخيرات وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وكانوا لنا عابدين وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ وَإِقَامَ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءَ الزَّكَاةِ وَكَانُوا لَنَا عَابِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وجعلناهم - And We made them| أئمة - leaders,| يهدون - they guide| بأمرنا - by Our Command.| وأوحينا - And We inspired| إليهم - to them| فعل - (the) doing| الخيرات - (of) good deeds,| وإقام - and establishment| الصلاة - (of) the prayer| وإيتاء - and giving| الزكاة - (of) zakah;| وكانوا - and they were| لنا - of Us| عابدين - worshippers.| | ||||||
| 7 [26:52] | Waawhayna ila moosaan asri biAAibadee innakum muttabaAAoona | وأوحينا إلى موسى أن أسر بعبادي إنكم متبعون وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأوحينا - And We inspired| إلى - to| موسى - Musa,| أن - [that]| أسر - "Travel by night| بعبادي - with My slaves,| إنكم - indeed, you| متبعون - (will be) followed."| | ||||||
| 8 [28:7] | Waawhayna ila ommi moosaan ardiAAeehi fa-itha khifti AAalayhi faalqeehi feealyammi wala takhafee wala tahzaneeinna raddoohu ilayki wajaAAiloohu minaalmursaleena | وأوحينا إلى أم موسى أن أرضعيه فإذا خفت عليه فألقيه في اليم ولا تخافي ولا تحزني إنا رادوه إليك وجاعلوه من المرسلين وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى أُمِّ مُوسَى أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِي الْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِي وَلَا تَحْزَنِي إِنَّا رَادُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وأوحينا - And We inspired| إلى - [to]| أم - (the) mother| موسى - (of) Musa| أن - that,| أرضعيه - "Suckle him,| فإذا - but when| خفت - you fear| عليه - for him,| فألقيه - then cast him| في - in(to)| اليم - the river| ولا - and (do) not| تخافي - fear| ولا - and (do) not| تحزني - grieve.| إنا - Indeed, We| رادوه - (will) restore him| إليك - to you| وجاعلوه - and (will) make him| من - of| المرسلين - the Messengers."| | ||||||
