| 1 [5:46] | Waqaffayna AAala atharihimbiAAeesa ibni maryama musaddiqan lima baynayadayhi mina alttawrati waataynahual-injeela feehi hudan wanoorun wamusaddiqan limabayna yadayhi mina alttawrati wahudan wamawAAithatanlilmuttaqeena |  وقفينا على آثارهم بعيسى ابن مريم مصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وآتيناه الإنجيل فيه هدى ونور ومصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وهدى وموعظة للمتقينوَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِم بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌ وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقفينا - And We sent| على - on| آثارهم - their footsteps| بعيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what| بين - (was) between| يديه - his hands| من - of| التوراة - the Taurat,| وآتيناه - and We gave him| الإنجيل - the Injeel,| فيه - in it| هدى - (was) Guidance| ونور - and light| ومصدقا - and confirming| لما - what| بين - (was) between| يديه - his hands| من - of| التوراة - the Taurat| وهدى - and a Guidance| وموعظة - and an admonition| للمتقين - for the God conscious.| | ||||||
| 2 [16:122] | Waataynahu fee alddunyahasanatan wa-innahu fee al-akhirati lamina alssaliheena | وآتيناه في الدنيا حسنة وإنه في الآخرة لمن الصالحين وَآتَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وآتيناه - And We gave him| في - in| الدنيا - the world| حسنة - good,| وإنه - and indeed, he| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| لمن - (he) will surely (be) among| الصالحين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 3 [18:84] | Inna makkanna lahu fee al-ardiwaataynahu min kulli shay-in sababan | إنا مكنا له في الأرض وآتيناه من كل شيء سببا إِنَّا مَكَّنَّا لَهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَآتَيْنَاهُ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ سَبَبًا | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, We| مكنا - [We] established| له - [for] him| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| وآتيناه - and We gave him| من - of| كل - every| شيء - thing| سببا - a means.| | ||||||
| 4 [19:12] | Ya yahya khuthialkitaba biquwwatin waataynahu alhukmasabiyyan | يا يحيى خذ الكتاب بقوة وآتيناه الحكم صبيا يَا يَحْيَى خُذِ الْكِتَابَ بِقُوَّةٍ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| يحيى - "O Yahya!| خذ - Hold| الكتاب - the Scripture| بقوة - with strength."| وآتيناه - And We gave him| الحكم - [the] wisdom| صبيا - (when he was) a child| | ||||||
| 5 [21:84] | Faistajabna lahu fakashafnama bihi min durrin waataynahu ahlahuwamithlahum maAAahum rahmatan min AAindina wathikralilAAabideena | فاستجبنا له فكشفنا ما به من ضر وآتيناه أهله ومثلهم معهم رحمة من عندنا وذكرى للعابدين فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِن ضُرٍّ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا وَذِكْرَى لِلْعَابِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فاستجبنا - So We responded| له - to him| فكشفنا - and We removed| ما - what| به - (was) on him| من - of| ضر - (the) adversity.| وآتيناه - And We gave him| أهله - his family| ومثلهم - and (the) like thereof| معهم - with them| رحمة - (as) Mercy| من - from Ourselves,| عندنا - from Ourselves,| وذكرى - and a reminder| للعابدين - for the worshippers.| | ||||||
| 6 [28:76] | Inna qaroona kana min qawmimoosa fabagha AAalayhim waataynahumina alkunoozi ma inna mafatihahu latanoo-obialAAusbati olee alquwwati ith qalalahu qawmuhu la tafrah inna Allaha layuhibbu alfariheena | إن قارون كان من قوم موسى فبغى عليهم وآتيناه من الكنوز ما إن مفاتحه لتنوء بالعصبة أولي القوة إذ قال له قومه لا تفرح إن الله لا يحب الفرحين إِنَّ قَارُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَى فَبَغَى عَلَيْهِمْ وَآتَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْكُنُوزِ مَا إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُ لَتَنُوءُ بِالْعُصْبَةِ أُولِي الْقُوَّةِ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ قَوْمُهُ لَا تَفْرَحْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| قارون - Qarun,| كان - was| من - from| قوم - (the) people| موسى - (of) Musa,| فبغى - but he oppressed| عليهم - [on] them.| وآتيناه - And We gave him| من - of| الكنوز - the treasures| ما - which| إن - indeed| مفاتحه - (the) keys of it| لتنوء - would burden| بالعصبة - a company (of men)| أولي - possessors of great strength.| القوة - possessors of great strength.| إذ - When| قال - said| له - to him| قومه - his people,| لا - "(Do) not| تفرح - exult.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| الفرحين - the exultant.| | ||||||
| 7 [29:27] | Wawahabna lahu ishaqawayaAAqooba wajaAAalna fee thurriyyatihi alnnubuwwatawaalkitaba waataynahu ajrahu fee alddunyawa-innahu fee al-akhirati lamina alssaliheena | ووهبنا له إسحاق ويعقوب وجعلنا في ذريته النبوة والكتاب وآتيناه أجره في الدنيا وإنه في الآخرة لمن الصالحين وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِ النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَجْرَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ووهبنا - And We granted| له - to him| إسحاق - Isaac| ويعقوب - and Yaqub| وجعلنا - and We placed| في - in| ذريته - his offsprings| النبوة - the Prophethood| والكتاب - and the Book.| وآتيناه - And We gave him| أجره - his reward| في - in| الدنيا - the world.| وإنه - And indeed, he| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| لمن - (is) surely, among| الصالحين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 8 [38:20] | Washadadna mulkahu waataynahualhikmata wafasla alkhitabi | وشددنا ملكه وآتيناه الحكمة وفصل الخطاب وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ الْخِطَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وشددنا - And We strengthened| ملكه - his kingdom| وآتيناه - and We gave him| الحكمة - [the] wisdom| وفصل - and decisive| الخطاب - speech.| | ||||||
| 9 [57:27] | Thumma qaffayna AAala atharihimbirusulina waqaffayna biAAeesa ibni maryamawaataynahu al-injeela wajaAAalna fee quloobiallatheena ittabaAAoohu ra/fatan warahmatan warahbaniyyatanibtadaAAooha ma katabnaha AAalayhimilla ibtighaa ridwani Allahifama raAAawha haqqa riAAayatihafaatayna allatheena amanoo minhumajrahum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona | ثم قفينا على آثارهم برسلنا وقفينا بعيسى ابن مريم وآتيناه الإنجيل وجعلنا في قلوب الذين اتبعوه رأفة ورحمة ورهبانية ابتدعوها ما كتبناها عليهم إلا ابتغاء رضوان الله فما رعوها حق رعايتها فآتينا الذين آمنوا منهم أجرهم وكثير منهم فاسقون ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ رَأْفَةً وَرَحْمَةً وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ رِضْوَانِ اللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا فَآتَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قفينا - We sent| على - on| آثارهم - their footsteps| برسلنا - Our Messengers| وقفينا - and We followed| بعيسى - with Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| وآتيناه - and We gave him| الإنجيل - the Injeel.| وجعلنا - And We placed| في - in| قلوب - (the) hearts| الذين - (of) those who| اتبعوه - followed him| رأفة - compassion| ورحمة - and mercy.| ورهبانية - But monasticism| ابتدعوها - they innovated -| ما - not| كتبناها - We prescribed it| عليهم - for them -| إلا - only| ابتغاء - seeking| رضوان - (the) pleasure| الله - (of) Allah,| فما - but not| رعوها - they observed it| حق - (with) right| رعايتها - observance.| فآتينا - So We gave| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed| منهم - among them| أجرهم - their reward,| وكثير - but most| منهم - of them| فاسقون - (are) defiantly disobediently.| | ||||||
