| 1 [2:67] | Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi inna Allaha ya/murukum an tathbahoobaqaratan qaloo atattakhithuna huzuwan qalaaAAoothu biAllahi an akoona mina aljahileena |  وإذ قال موسى لقومه إن الله يأمركم أن تذبحوا بقرة قالوا أتتخذنا هزوا قال أعوذ بالله أن أكون من الجاهلينوَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَذْبَحُواْ بَقَرَةً قَالُواْ أَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُواً قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| موسى - Musa| لقومه - to his people,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| يأمركم - commands you| أن - that| تذبحوا - you slaughter| بقرة - a cow."| قالوا - They said,| أتتخذنا - "Do you take us| هزوا - (in) ridicule."| قال - He said,| أعوذ - "I seek refuge| بالله - in Allah| أن - that| أكون - I be| من - among| الجاهلين - the ignorant."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:231] | Wa-itha tallaqtumu alnnisaafabalaghna ajalahunna faamsikoohunna bimaAAroofin aw sarrihoohunnabimaAAroofin wala tumsikoohunna diraranlitaAAtadoo waman yafAAal thalika faqad thalamanafsahu wala tattakhithoo ayati Allahihuzuwan waothkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykumwama anzala AAalaykum mina alkitabi waalhikmatiyaAAithukum bihi waittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamooanna Allaha bikulli shay-in AAaleemun | وإذا طلقتم النساء فبلغن أجلهن فأمسكوهن بمعروف أو سرحوهن بمعروف ولا تمسكوهن ضرارا لتعتدوا ومن يفعل ذلك فقد ظلم نفسه ولا تتخذوا آيات الله هزوا واذكروا نعمت الله عليكم وما أنزل عليكم من الكتاب والحكمة يعظكم به واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله بكل شيء عليم وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ سَرِّحُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَلاَ تُمْسِكُوهُنَّ ضِرَارًا لَّتَعْتَدُواْ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ آيَاتِ اللّهِ هُزُوًا وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ يَعِظُكُم بِهِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| طلقتم - you divorce| النساء - the women| فبلغن - and they reach| أجلهن - their (waiting) term,| فأمسكوهن - then retain them| بمعروف - in a fair manner| أو - or| سرحوهن - release them| بمعروف - in a fair manner.| ولا - And (do) not| تمسكوهن - retain them| ضرارا - (to) hurt| لتعتدوا - so that you transgress.| ومن - And whoever| يفعل - does| ذلك - that,| فقد - then indeed,| ظلم - he wronged| نفسه - himself.| ولا - And (do) not| تتخذوا - take| آيات - (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah| هزوا - (in) jest,| واذكروا - and remember| نعمت - (the) Favors| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - upon you| وما - and what| أنزل - (is) revealed| عليكم - to you| من - of| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and [the] wisdom;| يعظكم - He instructs you| به - with it.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah (is)| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:57] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo allatheena ittakhathoodeenakum huzuwan walaAAiban mina allatheena ootoo alkitabamin qablikum waalkuffara awliyaa waittaqooAllaha in kuntum mu/mineena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا الذين اتخذوا دينكم هزوا ولعبا من الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم والكفار أولياء واتقوا الله إن كنتم مؤمنين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَكُمْ هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَالْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تتخذوا - take| الذين - those who| اتخذوا - take| دينكم - your religion| هزوا - (in) ridicule| ولعبا - and fun| من - from| الذين - those who| أوتوا - are given| الكتاب - the Book| من - from| قبلكم - before you| والكفار - and the disbelievers| أولياء - (as) allies.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:58] | Wa-itha nadaytum ila alssalatiittakhathooha huzuwan walaAAiban thalikabi-annahum qawmun la yaAAqiloona | وإذا ناديتم إلى الصلاة اتخذوها هزوا ولعبا ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يعقلون وَإِذَا نَادَيْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ اتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| ناديتم - you make a call| إلى - for| الصلاة - the prayer,| اتخذوها - they take it| هزوا - (in) ridicule| ولعبا - and fun.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قوم - (are) a people| لا - (who do) not| يعقلون - understand.| | ||||||
| 5 [18:56] | Wama nursilu almursaleena illamubashshireena wamunthireena wayujadilu allatheenakafaroo bialbatili liyudhidoo bihi alhaqqawaittakhathoo ayatee wama onthiroohuzuwan | وما نرسل المرسلين إلا مبشرين ومنذرين ويجادل الذين كفروا بالباطل ليدحضوا به الحق واتخذوا آياتي وما أنذروا هزوا وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلاَّ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَيُجَادِلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَمَا أُنذِرُوا هُزُوًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| نرسل - We send| المرسلين - the Messengers| إلا - except| مبشرين - (as) bearers of glad tidings| ومنذرين - and (as) warners.| ويجادل - And dispute| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| بالباطل - with falsehood,| ليدحضوا - to refute| به - thereby| الحق - the truth.| واتخذوا - And they take| آياتي - My Verses| وما - and what| أنذروا - they are warned| هزوا - (in) ridicule.| | ||||||
| 6 [18:106] | Thalika jazaohum jahannamubima kafaroo waittakhathoo ayateewarusulee huzuwan | ذلك جزاؤهم جهنم بما كفروا واتخذوا آياتي ورسلي هزوا ذَلِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ بِمَا كَفَرُوا وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَرُسُلِي هُزُوًا | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| جزاؤهم - (is) their recompense -| جهنم - Hell -| بما - because| كفروا - they disbelieved,| واتخذوا - and took| آياتي - My Verses| ورسلي - and My Messengers| هزوا - (in) ridicule.| | ||||||
| 7 [21:36] | Wa-itha raaka allatheenakafaroo in yattakhithoonaka illa huzuwan ahathaallathee yathkuru alihatakum wahum bithikrialrrahmani hum kafiroona | وإذا رآك الذين كفروا إن يتخذونك إلا هزوا أهذا الذي يذكر آلهتكم وهم بذكر الرحمن هم كافرون وَإِذَا رَآكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَذَا الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَهُم بِذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رآك - they see you,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| إن - not| يتخذونك - they take you| إلا - except| هزوا - (in) ridicule,| أهذا - "Is this| الذي - the one who| يذكر - mentions| آلهتكم - your gods?"| وهم - And they| بذكر - at (the) mention| الرحمن - (of) the Most Gracious| هم - [they]| كافرون - (are) disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 8 [25:41] | Wa-itha raawka in yattakhithoonakailla huzuwan ahatha allathee baAAatha Allahurasoolan | وإذا رأوك إن يتخذونك إلا هزوا أهذا الذي بعث الله رسولا وَإِذَا رَأَوْكَ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَذَا الَّذِي بَعَثَ اللَّهُ رَسُولًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأوك - they see you,| إن - not| يتخذونك - they take you| إلا - except| هزوا - (in) mockery,| أهذا - "Is this| الذي - the one whom| بعث - Allah has sent| الله - Allah has sent| رسولا - (as) a Messenger?| | ||||||
| 9 [31:6] | Wamina alnnasi man yashtareelahwa alhadeethi liyudilla AAan sabeeli Allahibighayri AAilmin wayattakhithaha huzuwan ola-ikalahum AAathabun muheenun | ومن الناس من يشتري لهو الحديث ليضل عن سبيل الله بغير علم ويتخذها هزوا أولئك لهم عذاب مهين وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And of| الناس - the mankind| من - (is he) who| يشتري - purchases,| لهو - idle tales| الحديث - idle tales| ليضل - to mislead| عن - from| سبيل - (the) path| الله - (of) Allah| بغير - without| علم - knowledge,| ويتخذها - and takes it| هزوا - (in) ridicule.| أولئك - Those| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 10 [45:9] | Wa-itha AAalima min ayatinashay-an ittakhathaha huzuwan ola-ika lahumAAathabun muheenun | وإذا علم من آياتنا شيئا اتخذها هزوا أولئك لهم عذاب مهين وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا شَيْئًا اتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| علم - he knows| من - of| آياتنا - Our Verses,| شيئا - anything,| اتخذها - he takes them| هزوا - (in) ridicule.| أولئك - Those -| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 11 [45:35] | Thalikum bi-annakumu ittakhathtumayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatualddunya faalyawma la yukhrajoonaminha wala hum yustaAAtaboona | ذلكم بأنكم اتخذتم آيات الله هزوا وغرتكم الحياة الدنيا فاليوم لا يخرجون منها ولا هم يستعتبون ذَلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ذلكم - That| بأنكم - (is) because you| اتخذتم - took| آيات - (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah| هزوا - (in) ridicule| وغرتكم - and deceived you| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world."| فاليوم - So this Day| لا - not| يخرجون - they will be brought forth| منها - from it| ولا - and not| هم - they| يستعتبون - will be asked to appease.| | ||||||
