| 1 [4:73] | Wala-in asabakum fadlun minaAllahi layaqoolanna kaan lam takun baynakum wabaynahumawaddatun ya laytanee kuntu maAAahum faafooza fawzan AAatheeman |  ولئن أصابكم فضل من الله ليقولن كأن لم تكن بينكم وبينه مودة يا ليتني كنت معهم فأفوز فوزا عظيماوَلَئِنْ أَصَابَكُمْ فَضْلٌ مِّنَ الله لَيَقُولَنَّ كَأَن لَّمْ تَكُن بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ مَوَدَّةٌ يَا لَيتَنِي كُنتُ مَعَهُمْ فَأَفُوزَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And if| أصابكم - befalls you| فضل - bounty| من - from| الله - Allah| ليقولن - he would surely say| كأن - as if| لم - (had) not| تكن - there been| بينكم - between you| وبينه - and between him| مودة - any affection,| يا - O| ليتني - "Oh! I wish| كنت - I had been| معهم - with them| فأفوز - then I would have attained| فوزا - a success| عظيما - great."| | ||||||
| 2 [5:82] | Latajidanna ashadda alnnasiAAadawatan lillatheena amanoo alyahooda waallatheenaashrakoo walatajidanna aqrabahum mawaddatan lillatheena amanooallatheena qaloo inna nasara thalikabi-anna minhum qisseeseena waruhbanan waannahum layastakbiroona | لتجدن أشد الناس عداوة للذين آمنوا اليهود والذين أشركوا ولتجدن أقربهم مودة للذين آمنوا الذين قالوا إنا نصارى ذلك بأن منهم قسيسين ورهبانا وأنهم لا يستكبرون لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لتجدن - Surely you will find| أشد - strongest| الناس - (of) the people| عداوة - (in) enmity| للذين - to those who| آمنوا - believe,| اليهود - the Jews| والذين - and those who| أشركوا - (are) polytheists;| ولتجدن - and surely you will find| أقربهم - nearest of them| مودة - (in) affection| للذين - to those who| آمنوا - believe,| الذين - those who| قالوا - say,| إنا - "We| نصارى - (are) Christians."| ذلك - That (is)| بأن - because| منهم - among them| قسيسين - (are) priests| ورهبانا - and monks,| وأنهم - and that they| لا - (are) not| يستكبرون - arrogant.| | ||||||
| 3 [29:25] | Waqala innama ittakhathtummin dooni Allahi awthanan mawaddata baynikum fee alhayatialddunya thumma yawma alqiyamati yakfurubaAAdukum bibaAAdin wayalAAanu baAAdukumbaAAdan wama-wakumu alnnaru wamalakum min nasireena | وقال إنما اتخذتم من دون الله أوثانا مودة بينكم في الحياة الدنيا ثم يوم القيامة يكفر بعضكم ببعض ويلعن بعضكم بعضا ومأواكم النار وما لكم من ناصرين وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا مَّوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُم بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And he said,| إنما - "Only| اتخذتم - you have taken| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| أوثانا - idols| مودة - (out of) love| بينكم - among you| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| ثم - Then| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| يكفر - you will deny| بعضكم - one another| ببعض - one another| ويلعن - and curse| بعضكم - one another,| بعضا - one another,| ومأواكم - and your abode| النار - (will be) the Fire| وما - and not| لكم - for you| من - any| ناصرين - helpers."| | ||||||
| 4 [30:21] | Wamin ayatihi an khalaqa lakummin anfusikum azwajan litaskunoo ilayha wajaAAalabaynakum mawaddatan warahmatan inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yatafakkaroona | ومن آياته أن خلق لكم من أنفسكم أزواجا لتسكنوا إليها وجعل بينكم مودة ورحمة إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| آياته - His Signs| أن - (is) that| خلق - He created| لكم - for you| من - from| أنفسكم - yourselves| أزواجا - mates| لتسكنوا - that you may find tranquility| إليها - in them;| وجعل - and He placed| بينكم - between you| مودة - love| ورحمة - and mercy.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who reflect.| | ||||||
| 5 [60:7] | AAasa Allahu an yajAAalabaynakum wabayna allatheena AAadaytum minhummawaddatan waAllahu qadeerun waAllahughafoorun raheemun | عسى الله أن يجعل بينكم وبين الذين عاديتم منهم مودة والله قدير والله غفور رحيم عَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَجْعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ عَادَيْتُم مِّنْهُم مَّوَدَّةً وَاللَّهُ قَدِيرٌ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
