| 1 [4:24] | Waalmuhsanatu mina alnnisa-iilla ma malakat aymanukum kitaba AllahiAAalaykum waohilla lakum ma waraa thalikuman tabtaghoo bi-amwalikum muhsineena ghayra musafiheenafama istamtaAAtum bihi minhunna faatoohunnaojoorahunna fareedatan wala junaha AAalaykumfeema taradaytum bihi min baAAdi alfareedatiinna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman |  والمحصنات من النساء إلا ما ملكت أيمانكم كتاب الله عليكم وأحل لكم ما وراء ذلكم أن تبتغوا بأموالكم محصنين غير مسافحين فما استمتعتم به منهن فآتوهن أجورهن فريضة ولا جناح عليكم فيما تراضيتم به من بعد الفريضة إن الله كان عليما حكيماوَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلاَّ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ كِتَابَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأُحِلَّ لَكُم مَّا وَرَاءَ ذَلِكُمْ أَن تَبْتَغُواْ بِأَمْوَالِكُم مُّحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ فَمَا اسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِهِ مِنْهُنَّ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً وَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا تَرَاضَيْتُم بِهِ مِن بَعْدِ الْفَرِيضَةِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |والمحصنات - And (prohibited are) the ones who are married| من - of| النساء - the women| إلا - except| ما - whom| ملكت - you possess| أيمانكم - rightfully.| كتاب - Decree| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - upon you.| وأحل - And are lawful| لكم - to you| ما - what| وراء - (is) beyond| ذلكم - that;| أن - that| تبتغوا - you seek| بأموالكم - with your wealth| محصنين - desiring to be chaste| غير - not| مسافحين - (to be) lustful.| فما - So what| استمتعتم - you benefit[ed]| به - of it| منهن - from them,| فآتوهن - so you give them| أجورهن - their bridal due| فريضة - (as) an obligation.| ولا - And (there is) no| جناح - sin| عليكم - on you| فيما - concerning what| تراضيتم - you mutually agree| به - of it| من - from| بعد - beyond| الفريضة - the obligation.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:5] | Alyawma ohilla lakumu alttayyibatuwataAAamu allatheena ootoo alkitaba hillunlakum wataAAamukum hillun lahum waalmuhsanatumina almu/minati waalmuhsanatu minaallatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum itha ataytumoohunnaojoorahunna muhsineena ghayra musafiheenawala muttakhithee akhdanin waman yakfur bial-eemanifaqad habita AAamaluhu wahuwa fee al-akhiratimina alkhasireena | اليوم أحل لكم الطيبات وطعام الذين أوتوا الكتاب حل لكم وطعامكم حل لهم والمحصنات من المؤمنات والمحصنات من الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم إذا آتيتموهن أجورهن محصنين غير مسافحين ولا متخذي أخدان ومن يكفر بالإيمان فقد حبط عمله وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين الْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَّكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ وَلاَ مُتَّخِذِي أَخْدَانٍ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالْإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |اليوم - This day| أحل - are made lawful| لكم - for you| الطيبات - the good things;| وطعام - and (the) food| الذين - (of) those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| حل - (is) lawful| لكم - for you,| وطعامكم - and your food| حل - (is) lawful| لهم - for them.| والمحصنات - And the chaste women| من - from| المؤمنات - the believers| والمحصنات - and the chaste women| من - from| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| من - from| قبلكم - before you,| إذا - when| آتيتموهن - you have given them| أجورهن - their bridal due,| محصنين - being chaste| غير - not| مسافحين - being lewd| ولا - and not| متخذي - ones (who are) taking| أخدان - secret lovers.| ومن - And whoever| يكفر - denies| بالإيمان - the faith -| فقد - then surely| حبط - (are) wasted| عمله - his deeds| وهو - and he,| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter,| من - (will be) among| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
