| 1 [43:44] | Wa-innahu lathikrun laka waliqawmikawasawfa tus-aloona |  وإنه لذكر لك ولقومك وسوف تسألونوَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإنه - And indeed, it| لذكر - (is) surely, a Reminder| لك - for you| ولقومك - and your people,| وسوف - and soon| تسألون - you will be questioned.| | ||||||
| 2 [57:16] | Alam ya/ni lillatheena amanooan takhshaAAa quloobuhum lithikri Allahi wamanazala mina alhaqqi wala yakoonoo kaallatheenaootoo alkitaba min qablu fatala AAalayhimu al-amadufaqasat quloobuhum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona | ألم يأن للذين آمنوا أن تخشع قلوبهم لذكر الله وما نزل من الحق ولا يكونوا كالذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبل فطال عليهم الأمد فقست قلوبهم وكثير منهم فاسقون أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Has not| يأن - come (the) time| للذين - for those who| آمنوا - believed| أن - that| تخشع - become humble| قلوبهم - their hearts| لذكر - at (the) remembrance (of) Allah| الله - at (the) remembrance (of) Allah| وما - and what| نزل - has come down| من - of| الحق - the truth?| ولا - And not| يكونوا - they become| كالذين - like those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| من - before,| قبل - before,| فطال - (and) was prolonged| عليهم - for them| الأمد - the term,| فقست - so hardened| قلوبهم - their hearts;| وكثير - and many| منهم - of them| فاسقون - (are) defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
