| 1 [7:23] | Qala rabbana thalamnaanfusana wa-in lam taghfir lana watarhamnalanakoonanna mina alkhasireena |  قالا ربنا ظلمنا أنفسنا وإن لم تغفر لنا وترحمنا لنكونن من الخاسرينقَالاَ رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالا - Both of them said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| ظلمنا - we have wronged| أنفسنا - ourselves,| وإن - and if| لم - not| تغفر - You forgive| لنا - [for] us| وترحمنا - and have mercy (on) us,| لنكونن - surely, we will be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 2 [20:45] | Qala rabbana innananakhafu an yafruta AAalayna aw an yatgha | قالا ربنا إننا نخاف أن يفرط علينا أو أن يطغى قَالَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَن يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَا أَوْ أَن يَطْغَى | |||||
| Words | |قالا - They said,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| إننا - Indeed, we| نخاف - fear| أن - that| يفرط - he will hasten| علينا - against us| أو - or| أن - that| يطغى - he will transgress."| | ||||||
