| 1 [3:55] | Ith qala Allahu yaAAeesa innee mutawaffeeka warafiAAuka ilayya wamutahhirukamina allatheena kafaroo wajaAAilu allatheenaittabaAAooka fawqa allatheena kafaroo ila yawmialqiyamati thumma ilayya marjiAAukum faahkumubaynakum feema kuntum feehi takhtalifoona |  إذ قال الله يا عيسى إني متوفيك ورافعك إلي ومطهرك من الذين كفروا وجاعل الذين اتبعوك فوق الذين كفروا إلى يوم القيامة ثم إلي مرجعكم فأحكم بينكم فيما كنتم فيه تختلفونإِذْ قَالَ اللّهُ يَا عِيسَى إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قال - said| الله - Allah| يا - O| عيسى - "O Isa!| إني - Indeed, I| متوفيك - (will) take you| ورافعك - and raise you| إلي - to Myself| ومطهرك - and purify you| من - from| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d],| وجاعل - and I will make| الذين - those who| اتبعوك - follow[ed] you| فوق - superior| الذين - (to) those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| إلى - on| يوم - (the) Day| القيامة - (of) [the] Resurrection.| ثم - Then| إلي - to Me| مرجعكم - (is) your return| فأحكم - and I will judge| بينكم - between you| فيما - about what| كنتم - you were| فيه - [in it]| تختلفون - differing.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:11] | Yooseekumu Allahu fee awladikumlilththakari mithlu haththialonthayayni fa-in kunna nisaan fawqa ithnatayni falahunnathulutha ma taraka wa-in kanat wahidatanfalaha alnnisfu wali-abawayhi likulli wahidinminhuma alssudusu mimma taraka in kanalahu waladun fa-in lam yakun lahu waladun wawarithahu abawahufali-ommihi alththuluthu fa-in kana lahu ikhwatunfali-ommihi alssudusu min baAAdi wasiyyatin yooseebiha aw daynin abaokum waabnaokum latadroona ayyuhum aqrabu lakum nafAAan fareedatan mina Allahiinna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman | يوصيكم الله في أولادكم للذكر مثل حظ الأنثيين فإن كن نساء فوق اثنتين فلهن ثلثا ما ترك وإن كانت واحدة فلها النصف ولأبويه لكل واحد منهما السدس مما ترك إن كان له ولد فإن لم يكن له ولد وورثه أبواه فلأمه الثلث فإن كان له إخوة فلأمه السدس من بعد وصية يوصي بها أو دين آباؤكم وأبناؤكم لا تدرون أيهم أقرب لكم نفعا فريضة من الله إن الله كان عليما حكيما يُوصِيكُمُ اللّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَاءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلِأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ آبَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعاً فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |يوصيكم - Instructs you| الله - Allah| في - concerning| أولادكم - your children -| للذكر - for the male| مثل - like| حظ - (the) portion| الأنثيين - (of) two females.| فإن - But if| كن - there are| نساء - (only) women| فوق - more (than)| اثنتين - two,| فلهن - then for them| ثلثا - two thirds| ما - (of) what| ترك - he left.| وإن - And if| كانت - (there) is| واحدة - (only) one,| فلها - then for her| النصف - (is) half.| ولأبويه - And for his parents,| لكل - for each| واحد - one| منهما - of them| السدس - a sixth| مما - of what| ترك - (is) left,| إن - if| كان - is| له - for him| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| لم - not| يكن - is| له - for him| ولد - any child| وورثه - and inherit[ed] him| أبواه - his parents,| فلأمه - then for his mother| الثلث - (is) one third.| فإن - And if| كان - are| له - for him| إخوة - brothers and sisters,| فلأمه - then for his mother| السدس - (is) the sixth| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصي - he has made| بها - [of which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| آباؤكم - Your parents| وأبناؤكم - and your children -| لا - not| تدرون - you know| أيهم - which of them| أقرب - (is) nearer| لكم - to you| نفعا - (in) benefit.| فريضة - An obligation| من - from| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:18] | Wahuwa alqahiru fawqa AAibadihiwahuwa alhakeemu alkhabeeru | وهو القاهر فوق عباده وهو الحكيم الخبير وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| القاهر - (is) the Subjugator| فوق - over| عباده - His slaves.| وهو - And He| الحكيم - (is) the All-Wise,| الخبير - the All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:61] | Wahuwa alqahiru fawqa AAibadihiwayursilu AAalaykum hafathatan hattaitha jaa ahadakumu almawtu tawaffat-hurusuluna wahum la yufarritoona | وهو القاهر فوق عباده ويرسل عليكم حفظة حتى إذا جاء أحدكم الموت توفته رسلنا وهم لا يفرطون وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ عَلَيْكُم حَفَظَةً حَتَّىَ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ تَوَفَّتْهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمْ لاَ يُفَرِّطُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| القاهر - (is) the Subjugator| فوق - over| عباده - His slaves,| ويرسل - and He sends| عليكم - over you| حفظة - guardians| حتى - until| إذا - when| جاء - comes| أحدكم - (to) anyone of you| الموت - the death| توفته - take him| رسلنا - Our messengers,| وهم - and they| لا - (do) not| يفرطون - fail.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:165] | Wahuwa allathee jaAAalakum khala-ifaal-ardi warafaAAa baAAdakum fawqa baAAdindarajatin liyabluwakum fee ma atakuminna rabbaka sareeAAu alAAiqabi wa-innahu laghafoorun raheemun | وهو الذي جعلكم خلائف الأرض ورفع بعضكم فوق بعض درجات ليبلوكم في ما آتاكم إن ربك سريع العقاب وإنه لغفور رحيم وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلاَئِفَ الْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| جعلكم - (has) made you| خلائف - successors| الأرض - (of) the earth| ورفع - and raised| بعضكم - some of you| فوق - above| بعض - others| درجات - (in) ranks,| ليبلوكم - so that He may test you| في - in| ما - what| آتاكم - He has given you.| إن - Indeed,| ربك - your Lord| سريع - (is) swift| العقاب - (in) the punishment,| وإنه - and indeed, He (is)| لغفور - [certainly], Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 6 [8:12] | Ith yoohee rabbuka ilaalmala-ikati annee maAAakum fathabbitoo allatheena amanoosaolqee fee quloobi allatheena kafaroo alrruAAba faidriboofawqa al-aAAnaqi waidriboo minhum kulla bananin | إذ يوحي ربك إلى الملائكة أني معكم فثبتوا الذين آمنوا سألقي في قلوب الذين كفروا الرعب فاضربوا فوق الأعناق واضربوا منهم كل بنان إِذْ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى الْمَلآئِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ سَأُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الرَّعْبَ فَاضْرِبُواْ فَوْقَ الْأَعْنَاقِ وَاضْرِبُواْ مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| يوحي - inspired| ربك - your Lord| إلى - to| الملائكة - the Angels,| أني - "I am| معكم - with you,| فثبتوا - so strengthen| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed.| سألقي - I will cast| في - in| قلوب - (the) hearts| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved -| الرعب - the terror,| فاضربوا - so strike| فوق - above| الأعناق - the necks| واضربوا - and strike| منهم - from them| كل - every| بنان - fingertip[s]."| | ||||||
| 7 [12:36] | Wadakhala maAAahu alssijna fatayaniqala ahaduhuma innee aranee aAAsirukhamran waqala al-akharu innee aranee ahmilufawqa ra/see khubzan ta/kulu alttayru minhu nabbi/nabita/weelihi inna naraka mina almuhsineena | ودخل معه السجن فتيان قال أحدهما إني أراني أعصر خمرا وقال الآخر إني أراني أحمل فوق رأسي خبزا تأكل الطير منه نبئنا بتأويله إنا نراك من المحسنين وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ السِّجْنَ فَتَيَانِ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَآ إِنِّي أَرَانِي أَعْصِرُ خَمْرًا وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ إِنِّي أَرَانِي أَحْمِلُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِي خُبْزًا تَأْكُلُ الطَّيْرُ مِنْهُ نَبِّئْنَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِ إِنَّا نَرَاكَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ودخل - And entered| معه - with him| السجن - (in) the prison| فتيان - two young men.| قال - Said| أحدهما - one of them,| إني - "Indeed, I| أراني - [I] see myself| أعصر - pressing| خمرا - wine."| وقال - And said| الآخر - the other,| إني - "Indeed, I| أراني - [I] see myself| أحمل - [I am] carrying| فوق - over| رأسي - my head| خبزا - bread,| تأكل - (were) eating| الطير - the birds| منه - from it.| نبئنا - Inform us| بتأويله - of its interpretation;| إنا - indeed, we| نراك - [we] see you| من - of| المحسنين - the good-doers."| | ||||||
| 8 [14:26] | Wamathalu kalimatin khabeethatinkashajaratin khabeethatin ijtuththat min fawqi al-ardi malaha min qararin | ومثل كلمة خبيثة كشجرة خبيثة اجتثت من فوق الأرض ما لها من قرار وَمَثلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ اجْتُثَّتْ مِن فَوْقِ الْأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِن قَرَارٍ | |||||
| Words | |ومثل - And (the) example| كلمة - (of) a word| خبيثة - evil| كشجرة - (is) like a tree| خبيثة - evil,| اجتثت - uprooted| من - from| فوق - the surface| الأرض - (of) the earth,| ما - not| لها - for it| من - (is) any| قرار - stability.| | ||||||
| 9 [16:88] | Allatheena kafaroo wasaddooAAan sabeeli Allahi zidnahum AAathaban fawqaalAAathabi bima kanoo yufsidoona | الذين كفروا وصدوا عن سبيل الله زدناهم عذابا فوق العذاب بما كانوا يفسدون الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ زِدْنَاهُمْ عَذَابًا فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يُفْسِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - And those who| كفروا - disbelieved| وصدوا - and hindered| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| زدناهم - We will increase them| عذابا - (in) punishment| فوق - over| العذاب - punishment| بما - because| كانوا - they used (to)| يفسدون - spread corruption.| | ||||||
| 10 [22:19] | Hathani khasmani ikhtasamoofee rabbihim faallatheena kafaroo quttiAAatlahum thiyabun min narin yusabbu min fawqiruoosihimu alhameemu | هذان خصمان اختصموا في ربهم فالذين كفروا قطعت لهم ثياب من نار يصب من فوق رءوسهم الحميم هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِّن نَّارٍ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُؤُوسِهِمُ الْحَمِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |هذان - These two| خصمان - opponents| اختصموا - dispute| في - concerning| ربهم - their Lord.| فالذين - But those who| كفروا - disbelieved| قطعت - will be cut out| لهم - for them| ثياب - garments| من - of| نار - fire.| يصب - Will be poured| من - over| فوق - over| رءوسهم - their heads| الحميم - [the] scalding water.| | ||||||
| 11 [24:40] | Aw kathulumatin fee bahrinlujjiyyin yaghshahu mawjun min fawqihi mawjun min fawqihisahabun thulumatun baAAduhafawqa baAAdin itha akhraja yadahu lam yakad yarahawaman lam yajAAali Allahu lahu nooran fama lahu minnoorin | أو كظلمات في بحر لجي يغشاه موج من فوقه موج من فوقه سحاب ظلمات بعضها فوق بعض إذا أخرج يده لم يكد يراها ومن لم يجعل الله له نورا فما له من نور أَوْ كَظُلُمَاتٍ فِي بَحْرٍ لُّجِّيٍّ يَغْشَاهُ مَوْجٌ مِّن فَوْقِهِ مَوْجٌ مِّن فَوْقِهِ سَحَابٌ ظُلُمَاتٌ بَعْضُهَا فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ إِذَا أَخْرَجَ يَدَهُ لَمْ يَكَدْ يَرَاهَا وَمَن لَّمْ يَجْعَلِ اللَّهُ لَهُ نُورًا فَمَا لَهُ مِن نُّورٍ | |||||

| 12 [43:32] | Ahum yaqsimoona rahmata rabbika nahnuqasamna baynahum maAAeeshatahum fee alhayatialddunya warafaAAna baAAdahum fawqabaAAdin darajatin liyattakhitha baAAduhumbaAAdan sukhriyyan warahmatu rabbika khayrun mimmayajmaAAoona | أهم يقسمون رحمت ربك نحن قسمنا بينهم معيشتهم في الحياة الدنيا ورفعنا بعضهم فوق بعض درجات ليتخذ بعضهم بعضا سخريا ورحمت ربك خير مما يجمعون أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّكَ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِّيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا سُخْرِيًّا وَرَحْمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ | |||||

| 13 [44:48] | Thumma subboo fawqa ra/sihi min AAathabialhameemi | ثم صبوا فوق رأسه من عذاب الحميم ثُمَّ صُبُّوا فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْحَمِيمِ | |||||

| 14 [48:10] | Inna allatheena yubayiAAoonakainnama yubayiAAoona Allaha yadu Allahifawqa aydeehim faman nakatha fa-innama yankuthu AAalanafsihi waman awfa bima AAahada AAalayhu Allahafasayu/teehi ajran AAatheeman | إن الذين يبايعونك إنما يبايعون الله يد الله فوق أيديهم فمن نكث فإنما ينكث على نفسه ومن أوفى بما عاهد عليه الله فسيؤتيه أجرا عظيما إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُبَايِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُونَ اللَّهَ يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَمَن نَّكَثَ فَإِنَّمَا يَنكُثُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَوْفَى بِمَا عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهُ اللَّهَ فَسَيُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يبايعونك - pledge allegiance to you| إنما - only| يبايعون - they pledge allegiance| الله - (to) Allah.| يد - (The) Hand| الله - (of) Allah| فوق - (is) over| أيديهم - their hands.| فمن - Then whoever| نكث - breaks (his oath)| فإنما - then only| ينكث - he breaks| على - against| نفسه - himself,| ومن - and whoever| أوفى - fulfils| بما - what| عاهد - he has covenanted| عليه - (with)| الله - Allah,| فسيؤتيه - soon He will give him| أجرا - a reward| عظيما - great.| | ||||||
| 15 [49:2] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tarfaAAoo aswatakum fawqa sawti alnnabiyyiwala tajharoo lahu bialqawli kajahri baAAdikumlibaAAdin an tahbata aAAmalukumwaantum la tashAAuroona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا ترفعوا أصواتكم فوق صوت النبي ولا تجهروا له بالقول كجهر بعضكم لبعض أن تحبط أعمالكم وأنتم لا تشعرون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا لَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَن تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
