| 1 [2:75] | AfatatmaAAoona an yu/minoo lakumwaqad kana fareequn minhum yasmaAAoona kalama Allahithumma yuharrifoonahu min baAAdi ma AAaqaloohuwahum yaAAlamoona |  أفتطمعون أن يؤمنوا لكم وقد كان فريق منهم يسمعون كلام الله ثم يحرفونه من بعد ما عقلوه وهم يعلمونأَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَنْ يُّؤْمِنُواْ لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلاَمَ اللّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفتطمعون - Do you hope| أن - that| يؤمنوا - they will believe| لكم - [for] you| وقد - while indeed| كان - (there) has been| فريق - a party| منهم - of them,| يسمعون - (who used to) hear| كلام - (the) words| الله - (of) Allah,| ثم - then| يحرفونه - they distort it| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| عقلوه - they understood it,| وهم - while they| يعلمون - know?| | ||||||
| 2 [2:100] | Awa kullama AAahadoo AAahdannabathahu fareequn minhum bal aktharuhum layu/minoona | أوكلما عاهدوا عهدا نبذه فريق منهم بل أكثرهم لا يؤمنون أَوَكُلَّمَا عَاهَدُواْ عَهْداً نَّبَذَهُ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أوكلما - And is (it not that) whenever| عاهدوا - they took| عهدا - a covenant,| نبذه - threw it away| فريق - a party| منهم - of them?| بل - Nay,| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (do) not| يؤمنون - believe.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:101] | Walamma jaahum rasoolun minAAindi Allahi musaddiqun lima maAAahum nabathafareequn mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba kitabaAllahi waraa thuhoorihim kaannahum layaAAlamoona | ولما جاءهم رسول من عند الله مصدق لما معهم نبذ فريق من الذين أوتوا الكتاب كتاب الله وراء ظهورهم كأنهم لا يعلمون وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ كِتَابَ اللّهِ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاءهم - came to them| رسول - a Messenger| من - (of)| عند - from| الله - Allah| مصدق - confirming| لما - what| معهم - (was) with them,| نبذ - threw away| فريق - a party| من - of| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| كتاب - (the) Book| الله - (of) Allah| وراء - behind| ظهورهم - their backs| كأنهم - as if they| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 4 [3:23] | Alam tara ila allatheena ootoonaseeban mina alkitabi yudAAawna ila kitabiAllahi liyahkuma baynahum thumma yatawallafareequn minhum wahum muAAridoona | ألم تر إلى الذين أوتوا نصيبا من الكتاب يدعون إلى كتاب الله ليحكم بينهم ثم يتولى فريق منهم وهم معرضون أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ نَصِيبًا مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللّهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّى فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ | |||||

| 5 [4:77] | Alam tara ila allatheena qeelalahum kuffoo aydiyakum waaqeemoo alssalatawaatoo alzzakata falamma kutibaAAalayhimu alqitalu itha fareequn minhum yakhshawnaalnnasa kakhashyati Allahi aw ashaddakhashyatan waqaloo rabbana lima katabta AAalaynaalqitala lawla akhkhartana ila ajalinqareebin qul mataAAu alddunya qaleelun waal-akhiratukhayrun limani ittaqa wala tuthlamoonafateelan | ألم تر إلى الذين قيل لهم كفوا أيديكم وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فلما كتب عليهم القتال إذا فريق منهم يخشون الناس كخشية الله أو أشد خشية وقالوا ربنا لم كتبت علينا القتال لولا أخرتنا إلى أجل قريب قل متاع الدنيا قليل والآخرة خير لمن اتقى ولا تظلمون فتيلا أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللّهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا الْقِتَالَ لَوْلاَ أَخَّرْتَنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٌ وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنِ اتَّقَى وَلاَ تُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Have not| تر - you seen| إلى - [towards]| الذين - those who| قيل - (when) it was said| لهم - to them,| كفوا - "Restrain| أيديكم - your hands| وأقيموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتوا - and give| الزكاة - the zakah?"| فلما - Then when| كتب - was ordained| عليهم - on them| القتال - the fighting,| إذا - then| فريق - a group| منهم - of them| يخشون - [they] fear| الناس - the people| كخشية - as (they) fear| الله - Allah| أو - or| أشد - more intense| خشية - fear,| وقالوا - and they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| لم - why| كتبت - have You ordained| علينا - upon us| القتال - [the] fighting?| لولا - Why not| أخرتنا - You postpone (it for) us| إلى - to| أجل - a term,| قريب - near."| قل - Say,| متاع - "Enjoyment| الدنيا - (of) the world| قليل - (is) little| والآخرة - and the Hereafter| خير - (is) better| لمن - for whoever| اتقى - fears (Allah)| ولا - and not| تظلمون - you will be wronged| فتيلا - (even as much as) a hair on a date-seed."| | ||||||
| 6 [9:117] | Laqad taba Allahu AAalaalnnabiyyi waalmuhajireena waal-ansariallatheena ittabaAAoohu fee saAAati alAAusrati minbaAAdi ma kada yazeeghu quloobu fareeqin minhumthumma taba AAalayhim innahu bihim raoofun raheemun | لقد تاب الله على النبي والمهاجرين والأنصار الذين اتبعوه في ساعة العسرة من بعد ما كاد يزيغ قلوب فريق منهم ثم تاب عليهم إنه بهم رءوف رحيم لَقَد تَّابَ الله عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنصَارِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ فِي سَاعَةِ الْعُسْرَةِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٍ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّهُ بِهِمْ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Verily,| تاب - Allah turned (in mercy)| الله - Allah turned (in mercy)| على - to| النبي - the Prophet,| والمهاجرين - and the emigrants,| والأنصار - and the helpers| الذين - [those] who| اتبعوه - followed him,| في - in| ساعة - (the) hour| العسرة - (of) difficulty| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| كاد - had nearly| يزيغ - deviated| قلوب - (the) hearts| فريق - (of) a party| منهم - of them,| ثم - then| تاب - He turned (in mercy)| عليهم - to them.| إنه - Indeed, He| بهم - to them| رءوف - (is) Most Kind,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 7 [16:54] | Thumma itha kashafa alddurraAAankum itha fareequn minkum birabbihim yushrikoona | ثم إذا كشف الضر عنكم إذا فريق منكم بربهم يشركون ثُمَّ إِذَا كَشَفَ الضُّرَّ عَنكُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنكُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ | |||||

| 8 [23:109] | Innahu kana fareequn min AAibadeeyaqooloona rabbana amanna faighfirlana wairhamna waanta khayru alrrahimeena | إنه كان فريق من عبادي يقولون ربنا آمنا فاغفر لنا وارحمنا وأنت خير الراحمين إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنه - Indeed,| كان - (there) was| فريق - a party| من - of| عبادي - My slaves| يقولون - (who) said,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آمنا - We believe,| فاغفر - so forgive| لنا - us| وارحمنا - and have mercy on us,| وأنت - and You| خير - (are) best| الراحمين - (of) those who show mercy."| | ||||||
| 9 [24:47] | Wayaqooloona amanna biAllahiwabialrrasooli waataAAna thumma yatawallafareequn minhum min baAAdi thalika wama ola-ikabialmu/mineena | ويقولون آمنا بالله وبالرسول وأطعنا ثم يتولى فريق منهم من بعد ذلك وما أولئك بالمؤمنين وَيَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالرَّسُولِ وَأَطَعْنَا ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّى فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم مِّن بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَمَا أُوْلَئِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| آمنا - "We believe| بالله - in Allah| وبالرسول - and in the Messenger| وأطعنا - and we obey."| ثم - Then| يتولى - turns away| فريق - a party| منهم - of them| من - after| بعد - after| ذلك - that.| وما - And not| أولئك - those| بالمؤمنين - (are) believers.| | ||||||
| 10 [24:48] | Wa-itha duAAoo ila Allahiwarasoolihi liyahkuma baynahum itha fareequn minhummuAAridoona | وإذا دعوا إلى الله ورسوله ليحكم بينهم إذا فريق منهم معرضون وَإِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| دعوا - they are called| إلى - to| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| ليحكم - to judge| بينهم - between them,| إذا - behold,| فريق - a party| منهم - of them| معرضون - (is) averse.| | ||||||
| 11 [30:33] | Wa-itha massa alnnasa durrundaAAaw rabbahum muneebeena ilayhi thumma itha athaqahumminhu rahmatan itha fareequn minhum birabbihimyushrikoona | وإذا مس الناس ضر دعوا ربهم منيبين إليه ثم إذا أذاقهم منه رحمة إذا فريق منهم بربهم يشركون وَإِذَا مَسَّ النَّاسَ ضُرٌّ دَعَوْا رَبَّهُم مُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا أَذَاقَهُم مِّنْهُ رَحْمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| مس - touches| الناس - people| ضر - hardship,| دعوا - they call| ربهم - their Lord| منيبين - turning| إليه - to Him.| ثم - Then| إذا - when| أذاقهم - He causes them to taste| منه - from Him| رحمة - Mercy| إذا - behold!| فريق - A party| منهم - of them| بربهم - with their Lord| يشركون - associate partners| | ||||||
| 12 [33:13] | Wa-ith qalat ta-ifatunminhum ya ahla yathriba la muqama lakum fairjiAAoowayasta/thinu fareequn minhumu alnnabiyyayaqooloona inna buyootana AAawratun wama hiyabiAAawratin in yureedoona illa firaran | وإذ قالت طائفة منهم يا أهل يثرب لا مقام لكم فارجعوا ويستأذن فريق منهم النبي يقولون إن بيوتنا عورة وما هي بعورة إن يريدون إلا فرارا وَإِذْ قَالَت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَا أَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمْ فَارْجِعُوا وَيَسْتَأْذِنُ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمُ النَّبِيَّ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بُيُوتَنَا عَوْرَةٌ وَمَا هِيَ بِعَوْرَةٍ إِن يُرِيدُونَ إِلَّا فِرَارًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالت - said| طائفة - a party| منهم - of them,| يا - O| أهل - "O People| يثرب - (of) Yathrib!| لا - No| مقام - stand| لكم - for you,| فارجعوا - so return."| ويستأذن - And asked permission| فريق - a group| منهم - of them| النبي - (from) the Prophet,| يقولون - saying,| إن - "Indeed,| بيوتنا - our houses| عورة - (are) exposed,"| وما - and not| هي - they| بعورة - (were) exposed.| إن - Not| يريدون - they wished| إلا - but| فرارا - to flee.| | ||||||
| 13 [42:7] | Wakathalika awhaynailayka qur-anan AAarabiyyan litunthira omma alqurawaman hawlaha watunthira yawma aljamAAi larayba feehi fareequn fee aljannati wafareequn fee alssaAAeeri | وكذلك أوحينا إليك قرآنا عربيا لتنذر أم القرى ومن حولها وتنذر يوم الجمع لا ريب فيه فريق في الجنة وفريق في السعير وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَرِيقٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِي السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| أوحينا - We have revealed| إليك - to you| قرآنا - a Quran| عربيا - (in) Arabic,| لتنذر - that you may warn| أم - (the) mother| القرى - (of) the towns,| ومن - and whoever| حولها - (is) around it,| وتنذر - and warn| يوم - (of the) Day| الجمع - (of) Assembly,| لا - (there is) no| ريب - doubt| فيه - in it.| فريق - A party| في - (will be) in| الجنة - Paradise| وفريق - and a party| في - in| السعير - the Blazing Fire.| | ||||||
