| 1 [12:10] | Qala qa-ilun minhum lataqtuloo yoosufa waalqoohu fee ghayabati aljubbi yaltaqithubaAAdu alssayyarati in kuntum faAAileena |  قال قائل منهم لا تقتلوا يوسف وألقوه في غيابت الجب يلتقطه بعض السيارة إن كنتم فاعلينقَالَ قَآئِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ لاَ تَقْتُلُواْ يُوسُفَ وَأَلْقُوهُ فِي غَيَابَةِ الْجُبِّ يَلْتَقِطْهُ بَعْضُ السَّيَّارَةِ إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| قائل - a speaker| منهم - among them,| لا - "(Do) not| تقتلوا - kill| يوسف - Yusuf| وألقوه - but throw him| في - in| غيابت - the bottom| الجب - (of) the well,| يلتقطه - will pick him| بعض - some| السيارة - [the] caravan| إن - if| كنتم - you are| فاعلين - doing."| | ||||||
| 2 [15:71] | Qala haola-i banateein kuntum faAAileena | قال هؤلاء بناتي إن كنتم فاعلين قَالَ هَؤُلاَءِ بَنَاتِي إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| هؤلاء - "These| بناتي - (are) my daughters| إن - if| كنتم - you would be| فاعلين - doers."| | ||||||
| 3 [21:17] | Law aradna an nattakhithalahwan laittakhathnahu min ladunna inkunna faAAileena | لو أردنا أن نتخذ لهوا لاتخذناه من لدنا إن كنا فاعلين لَوْ أَرَدْنَا أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَّاتَّخَذْنَاهُ مِن لَّدُنَّا إِن كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لو - If| أردنا - We intended| أن - that| نتخذ - We take| لهوا - a pastime,| لاتخذناه - surely We (could have) taken it| من - from| لدنا - Us,| إن - if| كنا - We were| فاعلين - doers.| | ||||||
| 4 [21:68] | Qaloo harriqoohu waonsurooalihatakum in kuntum faAAileena | قالوا حرقوه وانصروا آلهتكم إن كنتم فاعلين قَالُوا حَرِّقُوهُ وَانصُرُوا آلِهَتَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| حرقوه - "Burn him| وانصروا - and support| آلهتكم - your gods,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| فاعلين - doers."| | ||||||
| 5 [21:79] | Fafahhamnaha sulaymanawakullan atayna hukman waAAilman wasakhkharnamaAAa dawooda aljibala yusabbihna waalttayrawakunna faAAileena | ففهمناها سليمان وكلا آتينا حكما وعلما وسخرنا مع داوود الجبال يسبحن والطير وكنا فاعلين فَفَهَّمْنَاهَا سُلَيْمَانَ وَكُلًّا آتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوُودَ الْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَالطَّيْرَ وَكُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ففهمناها - And We gave understanding of it| سليمان - (to) Sulaiman,| وكلا - and (to) each| آتينا - We gave| حكما - judgment| وعلما - and knowledge.| وسخرنا - And We subjected| مع - with| داوود - Dawud| الجبال - the mountains| يسبحن - (to) glorify Our praises| والطير - and the birds.| وكنا - And We were| فاعلين - the Doers.| | ||||||
| 6 [21:104] | Yawma natwee alssamaakatayyi alssijlli lilkutubi kama bada/naawwala khalqin nuAAeeduhu waAAdan AAalayna innakunna faAAileena | يوم نطوي السماء كطي السجل للكتب كما بدأنا أول خلق نعيده وعدا علينا إنا كنا فاعلين يَوْمَ نَطْوِي السَّمَاءَ كَطَيِّ السِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| نطوي - We will fold| السماء - the heaven| كطي - like (the) folding| السجل - (of) a scroll| للكتب - for records.| كما - As| بدأنا - We began| أول - (the) first| خلق - creation| نعيده - We will repeat it,| وعدا - a promise| علينا - upon Us.| إنا - Indeed, We -| كنا - We are| فاعلين - (the) Doers.| | ||||||
