| 1 [2:81] | Bala man kasaba sayyi-atan waahatatbihi khatee-atuhu faola-ika as-habu alnnarihum feeha khalidoona |  بلى من كسب سيئة وأحاطت به خطيئته فأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدونبَلَى مَنْ كَسَبَ سَـيِّـئَةً وَّأَحَاطَتْ بِهِ خَطِيـئَـتُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بلى - Yes,| من - whoever| كسب - earned| سيئة - evil| وأحاطت - and surrounded him| به - with| خطيئته - his sins -| فأولئك - [so] those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire;| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - (will) abide forever.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:121] | Allatheena ataynahumualkitaba yatloonahu haqqa tilawatihi ola-ikayu/minoona bihi waman yakfur bihi faola-ika humu alkhasiroona | الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يتلونه حق تلاوته أولئك يؤمنون به ومن يكفر به فأولئك هم الخاسرون الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those,| آتيناهم - We have given them| الكتاب - the Book| يتلونه - recite it| حق - (as it has the) right| تلاوته - (of) its recitation.| أولئك - Those (people)| يؤمنون - believe| به - in it.| ومن - And whoever| يكفر - disbelieves| به - in it,| فأولئك - then those,| هم - they| الخاسرون - (are) the losers.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:160] | Illa allatheena taboowaaslahoo wabayyanoo faola-ika atoobuAAalayhim waana alttawwabu alrraheemu | إلا الذين تابوا وأصلحوا وبينوا فأولئك أتوب عليهم وأنا التواب الرحيم إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصْلَحُواْ وَبَيَّنُواْ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those| تابوا - who repent[ed]| وأصلحوا - and reform[ed]| وبينوا - and openly declar[ed].| فأولئك - Then those,| أتوب - I will accept repentance| عليهم - from them,| وأنا - and I (am)| التواب - the Acceptor of Repentance,| الرحيم - the Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:217] | Yas-aloonaka AAani alshshahri alharamiqitalin feehi qul qitalun feehi kabeerun wasaddunAAan sabeeli Allahi wakufrun bihi waalmasjidi alharamiwa-ikhraju ahlihi minhu akbaru AAinda Allahi waalfitnatuakbaru mina alqatli wala yazaloona yuqatiloonakumhatta yaruddookum AAan deenikum ini istataAAoowaman yartadid minkum AAan deenihi fayamut wahuwa kafirunfaola-ika habitat aAAmaluhum fee alddunyawaal-akhirati waola-ika as-habualnnari hum feeha khalidoona | يسألونك عن الشهر الحرام قتال فيه قل قتال فيه كبير وصد عن سبيل الله وكفر به والمسجد الحرام وإخراج أهله منه أكبر عند الله والفتنة أكبر من القتل ولا يزالون يقاتلونكم حتى يردوكم عن دينكم إن استطاعوا ومن يرتدد منكم عن دينه فيمت وهو كافر فأولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِيهِ قُلْ قِتَالٌ فِيهِ كَبِيرٌ وَصَدٌّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَكُفْرٌ بِهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِخْرَاجُ أَهْلِهِ مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُواْ وَمَن يَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَيَمُتْ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| الشهر - the month| الحرام - [the] sacred -| قتال - (concerning) fighting| فيه - in it.| قل - Say,| قتال - "Fighting| فيه - therein| كبير - (is) a great (sin);| وصد - but hindering (people)| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| وكفر - and disbelief| به - in Him| والمسجد - and (preventing access to) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam,| وإخراج - and driving out| أهله - its people| منه - from it,| أكبر - (is) greater (sin)| عند - near| الله - Allah.| والفتنة - And [the] oppression| أكبر - (is) greater| من - than| القتل - [the] killing."| ولا - And not| يزالون - they will cease| يقاتلونكم - (to) fight with you| حتى - until| يردوكم - they turn you away| عن - from| دينكم - your religion,| إن - if| استطاعوا - they are able.| ومن - And whoever| يرتدد - turns away| منكم - among you| عن - from| دينه - his religion,| فيمت - then dies| وهو - while he| كافر - (is) a disbeliever| فأولئك - for those| حبطت - became worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| وأولئك - And those| أصحاب - (are) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - (will) abide forever.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:229] | Alttalaqu marratanifa-imsakun bimaAAroofin aw tasreehun bi-ihsaninwala yahillu lakum an ta/khuthoo mimmaataytumoohunna shay-an illa an yakhafaalla yuqeema hudooda Allahi fa-inkhiftum alla yuqeema hudooda Allahifala junaha AAalayhima feema iftadatbihi tilka hudoodu Allahi fala taAAtadoohawaman yataAAadda hudooda Allahi faola-ikahumu alththalimoona | الطلاق مرتان فإمساك بمعروف أو تسريح بإحسان ولا يحل لكم أن تأخذوا مما آتيتموهن شيئا إلا أن يخافا ألا يقيما حدود الله فإن خفتم ألا يقيما حدود الله فلا جناح عليهما فيما افتدت به تلك حدود الله فلا تعتدوها ومن يتعد حدود الله فأولئك هم الظالمون الطَّلاَقُ مَرَّتَانِ فَإِمْسَاكٌ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ تَسْرِيحٌ بِإِحْسَانٍ وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَن تَأْخُذُواْ مِمَّا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ شَيْئًا إِلاَّ أَن يَخَافَا أَلاَّ يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ اللّهِ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلاَّ يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ اللّهِ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا فِيمَا افْتَدَتْ بِهِ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ فَلاَ تَعْتَدُوهَا وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللّهِ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الطلاق - The divorce| مرتان - (is) twice.| فإمساك - Then to retain| بمعروف - in a reasonable manner| أو - or| تسريح - to release (her)| بإحسان - with kindness.| ولا - And (it is) not| يحل - lawful| لكم - for you| أن - that| تأخذوا - you take (back)| مما - whatever| آتيتموهن - you have given them| شيئا - anything,| إلا - except| أن - if| يخافا - both fear| ألا - that not| يقيما - they both (can) keep| حدود - (the) limits| الله - (of) Allah.| فإن - But if| خفتم - you fear| ألا - that not| يقيما - they both (can) keep| حدود - (the) limits| الله - (of) Allah| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - sin| عليهما - on both of them| فيما - in what| افتدت - she ransoms| به - concerning it.| تلك - These| حدود - (are the) limits| الله - (of) Allah,| فلا - so (do) not| تعتدوها - transgress them.| ومن - And whoever| يتعد - transgresses| حدود - (the) limits| الله - (of) Allah| فأولئك - then those -| هم - they| الظالمون - (are) the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:275] | Allatheena ya/kuloona alrribala yaqoomoona illa kama yaqoomu allatheeyatakhabbatuhu alshshaytanu mina almassi thalikabi-annahum qaloo innama albayAAu mithlu alrribawaahalla Allahu albayAAa waharrama alrribafaman jaahu mawAAithatun min rabbihi faintahafalahu ma salafa waamruhu ila Allahi wamanAAada faola-ika as-habu alnnarihum feeha khalidoona | الذين يأكلون الربا لا يقومون إلا كما يقوم الذي يتخبطه الشيطان من المس ذلك بأنهم قالوا إنما البيع مثل الربا وأحل الله البيع وحرم الربا فمن جاءه موعظة من ربه فانتهى فله ما سلف وأمره إلى الله ومن عاد فأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ الرِّبَا لاَ يَقُومُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَقُومُ الَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الْمَسِّ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا الْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ الرِّبَا وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا فَمَن جَاءَهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَانتَهَى فَلَهُ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللّهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يأكلون - consume| الربا - [the] usury| لا - not| يقومون - they can stand| إلا - except| كما - like| يقوم - stands| الذي - the one who,| يتخبطه - confounds him| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| من - with| المس - (his) touch.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قالوا - say,| إنما - "Only| البيع - the trade| مثل - (is) like| الربا - [the] usury."| وأحل - While has permitted| الله - Allah| البيع - [the] trade| وحرم - but (has) forbidden| الربا - [the] usury.| فمن - Then whoever -| جاءه - comes to him| موعظة - (the) admonition| من - from| ربه - His Lord| فانتهى - and he refrained,| فله - then for him| ما - what| سلف - (has) passed,| وأمره - and his case| إلى - (is) with| الله - Allah,| ومن - and whoever| عاد - repeated| فأولئك - then those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:82] | Faman tawalla baAAda thalikafaola-ika humu alfasiqoona | فمن تولى بعد ذلك فأولئك هم الفاسقون فَمَن تَوَلَّى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then whoever| تولى - turns away| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| فأولئك - then those| هم - they| الفاسقون - (are) the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 8 [3:94] | Famani iftara AAala Allahialkathiba min baAAdi thalika faola-ika humualthalimoona | فمن افترى على الله الكذب من بعد ذلك فأولئك هم الظالمون فَمَنِ افْـتَـرَىَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ مِن بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then whoever| افترى - fabricates| على - about| الله - Allah| الكذب - [the] lie| من - from| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| فأولئك - then those -| هم - they| الظالمون - (are) the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 9 [4:17] | Innama alttawbatu AAalaAllahi lillatheena yaAAmaloona alssoo-abijahalatin thumma yatooboona min qareebin faola-ikayatoobu Allahu AAalayhim wakana AllahuAAaleeman hakeeman | إنما التوبة على الله للذين يعملون السوء بجهالة ثم يتوبون من قريب فأولئك يتوب الله عليهم وكان الله عليما حكيما إِنَّمَا التَّوْبَةُ عَلَى اللّهِ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُونَ مِن قَرِيبٍ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ يَتُوبُ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلِيماً حَكِيماً | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| التوبة - the acceptance of repentance| على - by| الله - Allah| للذين - (is) for those who| يعملون - do| السوء - the evil| بجهالة - in ignorance,| ثم - then| يتوبون - they repent| من - from| قريب - soon after.| فأولئك - Then those| يتوب - will have forgiveness| الله - (from) Allah| عليهم - upon them,| وكان - and is| الله - Allah| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 10 [4:69] | Waman yutiAAi Allaha waalrrasoolafaola-ika maAAa allatheena anAAama AllahuAAalayhim mina alnnabiyyeena waalssiddeeqeenawaalshshuhada-i waalssaliheenawahasuna ola-ika rafeeqan | ومن يطع الله والرسول فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا وَمَن يُطِعِ اللّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَـئِكَ رَفِيقًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يطع - obeys| الله - Allah| والرسول - and the Messenger| فأولئك - then those| مع - (will be) with| الذين - those whom| أنعم - has bestowed (His) Favor| الله - Allah| عليهم - upon them -| من - of| النبيين - the Prophets,| والصديقين - and the truthful,| والشهداء - and the martyrs,| والصالحين - and the righteous.| وحسن - And excellent| أولئك - (are) those| رفيقا - companion(s).| | ||||||
| 11 [4:97] | Inna allatheena tawaffahumualmala-ikatu thalimee anfusihim qaloofeema kuntum qaloo kunna mustadAAafeena feeal-ardi qaloo alam takun ardu AllahiwasiAAatan fatuhajiroo feeha faola-ikama/wahum jahannamu wasaat maseeran | إن الذين توفاهم الملائكة ظالمي أنفسهم قالوا فيم كنتم قالوا كنا مستضعفين في الأرض قالوا ألم تكن أرض الله واسعة فتهاجروا فيها فأولئك مأواهم جهنم وساءت مصيرا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالُواْ فِيمَ كُنتُمْ قَالُواْ كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَرْضُ اللّهِ وَاسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُواْ فِيهَا فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those whom -| توفاهم - take them (in death)| الملائكة - the Angels| ظالمي - (while) they (were) wronging| أنفسهم - themselves| قالوا - they say,| فيم - "In what (condition)| كنتم - were you?"| قالوا - They said,| كنا - "We were| مستضعفين - oppressed| في - in| الأرض - the earth."| قالوا - They said,| ألم - "Not| تكن - was| أرض - (the) earth| الله - (of) Allah| واسعة - spacious (enough)| فتهاجروا - so that you (could) emigrate| فيها - in it?"| فأولئك - Then those| مأواهم - (will have) their abode| جهنم - (in) Hell -| وساءت - and it is an evil| مصيرا - destination.| | ||||||
| 12 [4:99] | Faola-ika AAasa Allahuan yaAAfuwa AAanhum wakana Allahu AAafuwwan ghafooran | فأولئك عسى الله أن يعفو عنهم وكان الله عفوا غفورا فَأُوْلَـئِكَ عَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَعْفُوَ عَنْهُمْ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَفُوًّا غَفُورًا | |||||
| Words | |فأولئك - Then those,| عسى - may be,| الله - Allah| أن - will| يعفو - pardon| عنهم - [on] them,| وكان - and is| الله - Allah| عفوا - Oft-Pardoning,| غفورا - Oft-Forgiving.| | ||||||
| 13 [4:124] | Waman yaAAmal mina alssalihatimin thakarin aw ontha wahuwa mu/minun faola-ikayadkhuloona aljannata wala yuthlamoonanaqeeran | ومن يعمل من الصالحات من ذكر أو أنثى وهو مؤمن فأولئك يدخلون الجنة ولا يظلمون نقيرا وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثََى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلاَ يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يعمل - does| من - [of]| الصالحات - [the] righteous deeds| من - from| ذكر - (the) male| أو - or| أنثى - female,| وهو - and he| مؤمن - (is) a believer,| فأولئك - then those| يدخلون - will enter| الجنة - Paradise| ولا - and not| يظلمون - they will be wronged| نقيرا - (even as much as) the speck on a date-seed.| | ||||||
| 14 [4:146] | Illa allatheena taboowaaslahoo waiAAtasamoo biAllahiwaakhlasoo deenahum lillahi faola-ika maAAaalmu/mineena wasawfa yu/ti Allahu almu/mineena ajran AAatheeman | إلا الذين تابوا وأصلحوا واعتصموا بالله وأخلصوا دينهم لله فأولئك مع المؤمنين وسوف يؤت الله المؤمنين أجرا عظيما إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصْلَحُواْ وَاعْتَصَمُواْ بِاللّهِ وَأَخْلَصُواْ دِينَهُمْ لِلّهِ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَسَوْفَ يُؤْتِ اللّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those who| تابوا - repent| وأصلحوا - and correct (themselves)| واعتصموا - and hold fast| بالله - to Allah| وأخلصوا - and are sincere| دينهم - (in) their religion| لله - for Allah,| فأولئك - then those (will be)| مع - with| المؤمنين - the believers.| وسوف - And soon| يؤت - will be given| الله - (by) Allah| المؤمنين - the believers| أجرا - a reward,| عظيما - great.| | ||||||
| 15 [5:44] | Inna anzalna alttawratafeeha hudan wanoorun yahkumu biha alnnabiyyoonaallatheena aslamoo lillatheena hadoo waalrrabbaniyyoonawaal-ahbaru bima istuhfithoomin kitabi Allahi wakanoo AAalayhi shuhadaafala takhshawoo alnnasa waikhshawniwala tashtaroo bi-ayatee thamanan qaleelanwaman lam yahkum bima anzala Allahu faola-ikahumu alkafiroona | إنا أنزلنا التوراة فيها هدى ونور يحكم بها النبيون الذين أسلموا للذين هادوا والربانيون والأحبار بما استحفظوا من كتاب الله وكانوا عليه شهداء فلا تخشوا الناس واخشون ولا تشتروا بآياتي ثمنا قليلا ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الكافرون إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا التَّوْرَاةَ فِيهَا هُدًى وَنُورٌ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُواْ لِلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُواْ مِن كِتَابِ اللّهِ وَكَانُواْ عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاءَ فَلاَ تَخْشَوُاْ النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ وَلاَ تَشْتَرُواْ بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed,| أنزلنا - We revealed| التوراة - the Taurat| فيها - in it| هدى - (was) Guidance| ونور - and light;| يحكم - judged| بها - by it| النبيون - the Prophets,| الذين - those who| أسلموا - had submitted (to Allah)| للذين - for those who| هادوا - were Jews,| والربانيون - and the Rabbis,| والأحبار - and the scholars,| بما - with what| استحفظوا - they were entrusted| من - of| كتاب - (the) Book| الله - (of) Allah| وكانوا - and they were| عليه - to it| شهداء - witnesses.| فلا - So (do) not| تخشوا - fear| الناس - the people| واخشون - but fear Me,| ولا - and (do) not| تشتروا - sell| بآياتي - My Verses| ثمنا - (for) a price,| قليلا - little.| ومن - And whoever| لم - (does) not| يحكم - judge| بما - by what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| الكافرون - (are) the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 16 [5:45] | Wakatabna AAalayhim feeha annaalnnafsa bialnnafsi waalAAayna bialAAayniwaal-anfa bial-anfi waalothuna bialothuniwaalssinna bialssinni waaljurooha qisasunfaman tasaddaqa bihi fahuwa kaffaratun lahu wamanlam yahkum bima anzala Allahu faola-ikahumu alththalimoona | وكتبنا عليهم فيها أن النفس بالنفس والعين بالعين والأنف بالأنف والأذن بالأذن والسن بالسن والجروح قصاص فمن تصدق به فهو كفارة له ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الظالمون وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا أَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالْعَيْنَ بِالْعَيْنِ وَالْأَنفَ بِالْأَنفِ وَالْأُذُنَ بِالْأُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّ وَالْجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٌ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَّهُ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكتبنا - And We ordained| عليهم - for them| فيها - in it| أن - that -| النفس - the life| بالنفس - for the life,| والعين - and the eye| بالعين - for the eye,| والأنف - and the nose| بالأنف - for the nose,| والأذن - and the ear| بالأذن - for the ear,| والسن - and the tooth| بالسن - for the tooth,| والجروح - and (for) wounds| قصاص - (is) retribution.| فمن - But whoever| تصدق - gives charity| به - with it,| فهو - then it is| كفارة - an expiation| له - for him.| ومن - And whoever| لم - (does) not| يحكم - judge| بما - by what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| الظالمون - (are) the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 17 [5:47] | Walyahkum ahlu al-injeeli bimaanzala Allahu feehi waman lam yahkum bimaanzala Allahu faola-ika humu alfasiqoona | وليحكم أهل الإنجيل بما أنزل الله فيه ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الفاسقون وَلْيَحْكُمْ أَهْلُ الْإِنجِيلِ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فِيهِ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وليحكم - And let judge| أهل - (the) People| الإنجيل - (of) the Injeel| بما - by what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah| فيه - in it.| ومن - And whoever| لم - (does) not| يحكم - judge| بما - by what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they] (are)| الفاسقون - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 18 [7:8] | Waalwaznu yawma-ithini alhaqqufaman thaqulat mawazeenuhu faola-ika humu almuflihoona | والوزن يومئذ الحق فمن ثقلت موازينه فأولئك هم المفلحون وَالْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والوزن - And the weighing| يومئذ - that day| الحق - (will be) the truth.| فمن - So whose -| ثقلت - (will be) heavy| موازينه - his scales,| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| المفلحون - (will be) the successful ones.| | ||||||
| 19 [7:9] | Waman khaffat mawazeenuhu faola-ikaallatheena khasiroo anfusahum bima kanoo bi-ayatinayathlimoona | ومن خفت موازينه فأولئك الذين خسروا أنفسهم بما كانوا بآياتنا يظلمون وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And (for) those| خفت - (will be) light| موازينه - his scales,| فأولئك - so those| الذين - (will be) the ones who| خسروا - lost,| أنفسهم - themselves| بما - because| كانوا - they were| بآياتنا - to Our Verses| يظلمون - (doing) injustice.| | ||||||
| 20 [7:178] | Man yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadeewaman yudlil faola-ika humu alkhasiroona | من يهد الله فهو المهتدي ومن يضلل فأولئك هم الخاسرون مَن يَهْدِ اللّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِي وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ | |||||
