| 1 [6:131] | Thalika an lam yakun rabbuka muhlikaalqura bithulmin waahluha ghafiloona |  ذلك أن لم يكن ربك مهلك القرى بظلم وأهلها غافلونذَلِكَ أَن لَّمْ يَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَى بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That (is because)| أن - [that]| لم - not| يكن - is| ربك - your Lord| مهلك - one who destroys| القرى - the cities| بظلم - for (their) wrongdoing| وأهلها - while their people| غافلون - (are) unaware.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:7] | Inna allatheena la yarjoona liqaanawaradoo bialhayati alddunyawaitmaannoo biha waallatheenahum AAan ayatina ghafiloona | إن الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا ورضوا بالحياة الدنيا واطمأنوا بها والذين هم عن آياتنا غافلون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا وَرَضُواْ بِالْحَياةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاطْمَأَنُّواْ بِهَا وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يرجون - expect| لقاءنا - the meeting with Us| ورضوا - and are pleased| بالحياة - with the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| واطمأنوا - and feel satisfied| بها - with it| والذين - and those -| هم - they| عن - (are) of| آياتنا - Our Signs,| غافلون - heedless.| | ||||||
| 3 [12:13] | Qala innee layahzununee an thathhaboobihi waakhafu an ya/kulahu alththi/buwaantum AAanhu ghafiloona | قال إني ليحزنني أن تذهبوا به وأخاف أن يأكله الذئب وأنتم عنه غافلون قَالَ إِنِّي لَيَحْزُنُنِي أَن تَذْهَبُواْ بِهِ وَأَخَافُ أَن يَأْكُلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَأَنتُمْ عَنْهُ غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| إني - "Indeed, [I]| ليحزنني - it surely saddens me| أن - that| تذهبوا - you should take him| به - you should take him| وأخاف - and I fear| أن - that| يأكله - would eat him| الذئب - a wolf| وأنتم - while you| عنه - of him| غافلون - (are) unaware."| | ||||||
| 4 [30:7] | YaAAlamoona thahiranmina alhayati alddunya wahum AAanial-akhirati hum ghafiloona | يعلمون ظاهرا من الحياة الدنيا وهم عن الآخرة هم غافلون يَعْلَمُونَ ظَاهِرًا مِّنَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ عَنِ الْآخِرَةِ هُمْ غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يعلمون - They know| ظاهرا - (the) apparent| من - of| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| وهم - but they,| عن - about| الآخرة - the Hereafter,| هم - [they]| غافلون - (are) heedless.| | ||||||
| 5 [36:6] | Litunthira qawman ma onthiraabaohum fahum ghafiloona | لتنذر قوما ما أنذر آباؤهم فهم غافلون لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لتنذر - That you may warn| قوما - a people| ما - not| أنذر - were warned| آباؤهم - their forefathers,| فهم - so they| غافلون - (are) heedless.| | ||||||
| 6 [46:5] | Waman adallu mimman yadAAoo min dooniAllahi man la yastajeebu lahu ila yawmialqiyamati wahum AAan duAAa-ihim ghafiloona | ومن أضل ممن يدعو من دون الله من لا يستجيب له إلى يوم القيامة وهم عن دعائهم غافلون وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّن يَدْعُواْ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَن لَّا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ إِلَى يَومِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُمْ عَن دُعَائِهِمْ غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أضل - (is) more astray| ممن - than (he) who| يدعو - calls| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| من - who| لا - will not respond| يستجيب - will not respond| له - to him| إلى - until| يوم - (the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection,| وهم - and they| عن - of| دعائهم - their calls| غافلون - (are) unaware.| | ||||||
