| 1 [2:86] | Ola-ika allatheena ishtarawooalhayata alddunya bial-akhiratifala yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala humyunsaroona |  أولئك الذين اشتروا الحياة الدنيا بالآخرة فلا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم ينصرونأُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُاْ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ فَلاَ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ | |||||

| 3 [3:10] | Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniyaAAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahishay-an waola-ika hum waqoodu alnnari | إن الذين كفروا لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا وأولئك هم وقود النار إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُم مِّنَ اللّهِ شَيْئًا وَأُولَـئِكَ هُمْ وَقُودُ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| لن - never| تغني - will avail| عنهم - [for] them| أموالهم - their wealth| ولا - and not| أولادهم - their children| من - against| الله - Allah| شيئا - anything,| وأولئك - and those -| هم - they (are)| وقود - (the) fuel| النار - (for) the Fire.| | ||||||

| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| لن - never| تغني - will avail| عنهم - [for] them| أموالهم - their wealth| ولا - and not| أولادهم - their children| من - against| الله - Allah| شيئا - anything,| وأولئك - and those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - (will) abide forever.| | ||||||
| 6 [3:152] | Walaqad sadaqakumu AllahuwaAAdahu ith tahussoonahum bi-ithnihi hattaitha fashiltum watanazaAAtum fee al-amri waAAasaytummin baAAdi ma arakum ma tuhibboonaminkum man yureedu alddunya waminkum man yureedual-akhirata thumma sarafakum AAanhum liyabtaliyakumwalaqad AAafa AAankum waAllahu thoofadlin AAala almu/mineena | ولقد صدقكم الله وعده إذ تحسونهم بإذنه حتى إذا فشلتم وتنازعتم في الأمر وعصيتم من بعد ما أراكم ما تحبون منكم من يريد الدنيا ومنكم من يريد الآخرة ثم صرفكم عنهم ليبتليكم ولقد عفا عنكم والله ذو فضل على المؤمنين وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ وَاللّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| صدقكم - fulfilled to you| الله - Allah| وعده - His promise,| إذ - when| تحسونهم - you were killing them| بإذنه - by His permission,| حتى - until| إذا - when| فشلتم - you lost courage| وتنازعتم - and you fell into dispute| في - concerning| الأمر - the order| وعصيتم - and you disobeyed| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| أراكم - He (had) shown you| ما - what| تحبون - you love.| منكم - Among you| من - (are some) who| يريد - desire| الدنيا - the world| ومنكم - and among you| من - (are some) who| يريد - desire| الآخرة - the Hereafter.| ثم - Then| صرفكم - He diverted you| عنهم - from them| ليبتليكم - so that He may test you.| ولقد - And surely| عفا - He forgave| عنكم - you.| والله - And Allah| ذو - (is the) Possessor| فضل - (of) Bounty| على - for| المؤمنين - the believers.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:155] | Inna allatheena tawallaw minkumyawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumualshshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboowalaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allahaghafoorun haleemun | إن الذين تولوا منكم يوم التقى الجمعان إنما استزلهم الشيطان ببعض ما كسبوا ولقد عفا الله عنهم إن الله غفور حليم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْاْ مِنكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| تولوا - turned back| منكم - among you| يوم - (on the) day| التقى - met| الجمعان - the two hosts -| إنما - only| استزلهم - made them slip| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ببعض - for some| ما - (of) what| كسبوا - they (had) earned.| ولقد - And surely| عفا - forgave| الله - Allah| عنهم - [on] them,| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| حليم - All-Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 8 [3:159] | Fabima rahmatin mina Allahilinta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleethaalqalbi lainfaddoo min hawlika faoAAfuAAanhum waistaghfir lahum washawirhum fee al-amrifa-itha AAazamta fatawakkal AAala Allahiinna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileena | فبما رحمة من الله لنت لهم ولو كنت فظا غليظ القلب لانفضوا من حولك فاعف عنهم واستغفر لهم وشاورهم في الأمر فإذا عزمت فتوكل على الله إن الله يحب المتوكلين فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ وَلَوْ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لاَنفَضُّواْ مِنْ حَوْلِكَ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فبما - So because| رحمة - (of) Mercy| من - from| الله - Allah| لنت - you dealt gently| لهم - with them.| ولو - And if| كنت - you had been| فظا - rude| غليظ - (and) harsh| القلب - (at) [the] heart,| لانفضوا - surely they (would have) dispersed| من - from| حولك - around you.| فاعف - Then pardon| عنهم - [from] them| واستغفر - and ask forgiveness| لهم - for them| وشاورهم - and consult them| في - in| الأمر - the matter.| فإذا - Then when| عزمت - you have decided,| فتوكل - then put trust| على - on| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يحب - loves| المتوكلين - the ones who put trust (in Him).| | ||||||
| 9 [3:195] | Faistajaba lahum rabbuhumannee la odeeAAu AAamala AAamilin minkum minthakarin aw ontha baAAdukum min baAAdinfaallatheena hajaroo waokhrijoo min diyarihimwaoothoo fee sabeelee waqataloo waqutiloolaokaffiranna AAanhum sayyi-atihim walaodkhilannahum jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu thawabanmin AAindi Allahi waAllahu AAindahu husnualththawabi | فاستجاب لهم ربهم أني لا أضيع عمل عامل منكم من ذكر أو أنثى بعضكم من بعض فالذين هاجروا وأخرجوا من ديارهم وأوذوا في سبيلي وقاتلوا وقتلوا لأكفرن عنهم سيئاتهم ولأدخلنهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار ثوابا من عند الله والله عنده حسن الثواب فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّي لاَ أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِّنكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى بَعْضُكُم مِّن بَعْضٍ فَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ وَأُخْرِجُواْ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ وَأُوذُواْ فِي سَبِيلِي وَقَاتَلُواْ وَقُتِلُواْ لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ثَوَابًا مِّن عِندِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ | |||||
| Words | |فاستجاب - Then responded| لهم - to them| ربهم - their Lord,| أني - "Indeed, I| لا - (will) not| أضيع - (let go) waste| عمل - deeds| عامل - (of the) doer| منكم - among you| من - [from]| ذكر - (whether) male| أو - or| أنثى - female| بعضكم - each of you| من - from| بعض - (the) other.| فالذين - So those who| هاجروا - emigrated| وأخرجوا - and were driven out| من - from| ديارهم - their homes,| وأوذوا - and were harmed| في - in| سبيلي - My way| وقاتلوا - and fought| وقتلوا - and were killed -| لأكفرن - surely I (will) remove| عنهم - from them| سيئاتهم - their evil deeds| ولأدخلنهم - and surely I will admit them| جنات - (to) Gardens| تجري - flowing| من - from| تحتها - underneath them| الأنهار - the rivers -| ثوابا - a reward| من - from| عند - [near]| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah -| عنده - with Him| حسن - (is the) best| الثواب - reward."| | ||||||
| 10 [4:63] | Ola-ika allatheena yaAAlamuAllahu ma fee quloobihim faaAArid AAanhumwaAAithhum waqul lahum fee anfusihim qawlan baleeghan | أولئك الذين يعلم الله ما في قلوبهم فأعرض عنهم وعظهم وقل لهم في أنفسهم قولا بليغا أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُ اللّهُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَعِظْهُمْ وَقُل لَّهُمْ فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ قَوْلاً بَلِيغًا | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who -| يعلم - knows| الله - Allah| ما - what| في - (is) in| قلوبهم - their hearts,| فأعرض - so turn away| عنهم - from them| وعظهم - and admonish them,| وقل - and say| لهم - to them| في - concerning| أنفسهم - their souls| قولا - a word| بليغا - penetrating.| | ||||||
| 11 [4:81] | Wayaqooloona taAAatun fa-ithabarazoo min AAindika bayyata ta-ifatun minhum ghayra allatheetaqoolu waAllahu yaktubu ma yubayyitoonafaaAArid AAanhum watawakkal AAala Allahiwakafa biAllahi wakeelan | ويقولون طاعة فإذا برزوا من عندك بيت طائفة منهم غير الذي تقول والله يكتب ما يبيتون فأعرض عنهم وتوكل على الله وكفى بالله وكيلا وَيَقُولُونَ طَاعَةٌ فَإِذَا بَرَزُواْ مِنْ عِندِكَ بَيَّتَ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ غَيْرَ الَّذِي تَقُولُ وَاللّهُ يَكْتُبُ مَا يُبَيِّتُونَ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّهِ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| طاعة - "(We pledge) obedience."| فإذا - Then when| برزوا - they leave| من - from| عندك - you,| بيت - plan by night| طائفة - a group| منهم - of them| غير - other than| الذي - that which| تقول - you say.| والله - But Allah| يكتب - records| ما - what| يبيتون - they plan by night.| فأعرض - So turn (away)| عنهم - from them| وتوكل - and put (your) trust| على - in| الله - Allah.| وكفى - And sufficient| بالله - is Allah| وكيلا - (as) a Trustee.| | ||||||
| 12 [4:99] | Faola-ika AAasa Allahuan yaAAfuwa AAanhum wakana Allahu AAafuwwan ghafooran | فأولئك عسى الله أن يعفو عنهم وكان الله عفوا غفورا فَأُوْلَـئِكَ عَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَعْفُوَ عَنْهُمْ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَفُوًّا غَفُورًا | |||||
| Words | |فأولئك - Then those,| عسى - may be,| الله - Allah| أن - will| يعفو - pardon| عنهم - [on] them,| وكان - and is| الله - Allah| عفوا - Oft-Pardoning,| غفورا - Oft-Forgiving.| | ||||||
| 13 [4:109] | Haantum haola-i jadaltumAAanhum fee alhayati alddunya famanyujadilu Allaha AAanhum yawma alqiyamati amman yakoonu AAalayhim wakeelan | ها أنتم هؤلاء جادلتم عنهم في الحياة الدنيا فمن يجادل الله عنهم يوم القيامة أم من يكون عليهم وكيلا هَاأَنتُمْ هَـؤُلاَءِ جَادَلْتُمْ عَنْهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فَمَن يُجَادِلُ اللّهَ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَم مَّن يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ها - Here| أنتم - You are| هؤلاء - those who| جادلتم - [you] argue| عنهم - for them| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| فمن - but who| يجادل - will argue| الله - (with) Allah| عنهم - for them| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) [the] Resurrection| أم - or| من - who| يكون - will be| عليهم - [over them]| وكيلا - (their) defender.| | ||||||
| 14 [5:13] | Fabima naqdihim meethaqahumlaAAannahum wajaAAalna quloobahum qasiyatanyuharrifoona alkalima AAan mawadiAAihi wanasoo haththanmimma thukkiroo bihi wala tazalu tattaliAAuAAala kha-inatin minhum illa qaleelan minhumfaoAAfu AAanhum waisfah inna Allahayuhibbu almuhsineena | فبما نقضهم ميثاقهم لعناهم وجعلنا قلوبهم قاسية يحرفون الكلم عن مواضعه ونسوا حظا مما ذكروا به ولا تزال تطلع على خائنة منهم إلا قليلا منهم فاعف عنهم واصفح إن الله يحب المحسنين فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَاقَهُمْ لَعَنَّاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَاسِيَةً يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَنَسُواْ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ وَلاَ تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى خَآئِنَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّنْهُمْ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاصْفَحْ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فبما - So for| نقضهم - their breaking| ميثاقهم - (of) their covenant| لعناهم - We cursed them| وجعلنا - and We made| قلوبهم - their hearts| قاسية - hard.| يحرفون - They distort| الكلم - the words| عن - from| مواضعه - their places,| ونسوا - and forgot| حظا - a part| مما - of what| ذكروا - they were reminded| به - of [it].| ولا - And not| تزال - will you cease| تطلع - to discover| على - of| خائنة - treachery| منهم - from them| إلا - except| قليلا - a few| منهم - of them.| فاعف - But forgive| عنهم - them| واصفح - and overlook.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يحب - loves| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 15 [5:42] | SammaAAoona lilkathibi akkaloonalilssuhti fa-in jaooka faohkumbaynahum aw aAArid AAanhum wa-in tuAArid AAanhumfalan yadurrooka shay-an wa-in hakamta faohkumbaynahum bialqisti inna Allaha yuhibbualmuqsiteena | سماعون للكذب أكالون للسحت فإن جاءوك فاحكم بينهم أو أعرض عنهم وإن تعرض عنهم فلن يضروك شيئا وإن حكمت فاحكم بينهم بالقسط إن الله يحب المقسطين سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّالُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ فَإِن جَآؤُوكَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَإِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ | |||||
| Words | |سماعون - Listeners| للكذب - to [the] falsehood,| أكالون - devourers| للسحت - of the forbidden.| فإن - So if| جاءوك - they come to you| فاحكم - then judge| بينهم - between them| أو - or| أعرض - turn away| عنهم - from them.| وإن - And if| تعرض - you turn away| عنهم - from them,| فلن - then never| يضروك - will they harm you| شيئا - (in) anything.| وإن - And if| حكمت - you judge,| فاحكم - then judge| بينهم - between them| بالقسط - with [the] justice.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يحب - loves| المقسطين - the ones who are just.| | ||||||
| 16 [5:65] | Walaw anna ahla alkitabi amanoowaittaqaw lakaffarna AAanhum sayyi-atihimwalaadkhalnahum jannati alnnaAAeemi | ولو أن أهل الكتاب آمنوا واتقوا لكفرنا عنهم سيئاتهم ولأدخلناهم جنات النعيم وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ آمَنُواْ وَاتَّقَوْاْ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - that| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| آمنوا - (had) believed| واتقوا - and feared (Allah),| لكفرنا - surely We (would have) removed| عنهم - from them| سيئاتهم - their evil (deeds)| ولأدخلناهم - and surely We (would have) admitted them| جنات - (to) Gardens| النعيم - (of) Bliss.| | ||||||
| 17 [5:119] | Qala Allahu hathayawmu yanfaAAu alssadiqeena sidquhum lahumjannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha abadan radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu | قال الله هذا يوم ينفع الصادقين صدقهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه ذلك الفوز العظيم قَالَ اللّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَّضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Will say| الله - Allah,| هذا - "This| يوم - Day| ينفع - will profit| الصادقين - the truthful| صدقهم - their truthfulness."| لهم - For them| جنات - (are) Gardens| تجري - flows| من - from| تحتها - underneath it| الأنهار - the rivers| خالدين - will abide| فيها - in it| أبدا - forever."| رضي - is pleased| الله - Allah| عنهم - with them| ورضوا - and they are pleased| عنه - with Him.| ذلك - That| الفوز - (is) the success,| العظيم - (the) great.| | ||||||
| 18 [6:24] | Onthur kayfa kathabooAAala anfusihim wadalla AAanhum ma kanooyaftaroona | انظر كيف كذبوا على أنفسهم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون انظُرْ كَيْفَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||

| 19 [6:68] | Wa-itha raayta allatheenayakhoodoona fee ayatina faaAAridAAanhum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethinghayrihi wa-imma yunsiyannaka alshshaytanufala taqAAud baAAda alththikra maAAaalqawmi alththalimeena | وإذا رأيت الذين يخوضون في آياتنا فأعرض عنهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره وإما ينسينك الشيطان فلا تقعد بعد الذكرى مع القوم الظالمين وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلاَ تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ الذِّكْرَى مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأيت - you see| الذين - those who| يخوضون - engage (in vain talks)| في - about| آياتنا - Our Verses,| فأعرض - then turn away| عنهم - from them| حتى - until| يخوضوا - they engage| في - in| حديث - a talk| غيره - other than it.| وإما - And if| ينسينك - causes you to forget| الشيطان - the Shaitaan,| فلا - then (do) not| تقعد - sit| بعد - after| الذكرى - the reminder| مع - with| القوم - the people -| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 20 [6:88] | Thalika huda Allahiyahdee bihi man yashao min AAibadihi walaw ashrakoolahabita AAanhum ma kanoo yaAAmaloona | ذلك هدى الله يهدي به من يشاء من عباده ولو أشركوا لحبط عنهم ما كانوا يعملون ذَلِكَ هُدَى اللّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُواْ لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| هدى - (is the) Guidance| الله - (of) Allah,| يهدي - He guides| به - with it| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| من - of| عباده - His slaves.| ولو - But if| أشركوا - they (had) associated partners (with Allah),| لحبط - surely (would be) worthless| عنهم - for them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do.| | ||||||
