| 1 [2:51] | Wa-ith waAAadna moosaarbaAAeena laylatan thumma ittakhathtumu alAAijla minbaAAdihi waantum thalimoona |  وإذ واعدنا موسى أربعين ليلة ثم اتخذتم العجل من بعده وأنتم ظالمونوَإِذْ وَاعَدْنَا مُوسَى أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَنتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| واعدنا - We appointed| موسى - (for) Musa| أربعين - forty| ليلة - nights.| ثم - Then| اتخذتم - you took| العجل - the calf| من - from| بعده - after him| وأنتم - and you| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:92] | Walaqad jaakum moosa bialbayyinatithumma ittakhathtumu alAAijla min baAAdihi waantum thalimoona | ولقد جاءكم موسى بالبينات ثم اتخذتم العجل من بعده وأنتم ظالمون وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ مُّوسَى بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَنتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed| جاءكم - came to you| موسى - Musa| بالبينات - with [the] clear signs,| ثم - then| اتخذتم - you took| العجل - the calf| من - from| بعده - after him| وأنتم - and you| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:128] | Laysa laka mina al-amri shay-on aw yatoobaAAalayhim aw yuAAaththibahum fa-innahum thalimoona | ليس لك من الأمر شيء أو يتوب عليهم أو يعذبهم فإنهم ظالمون لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ليس - Not| لك - for you| من - of| الأمر - the decision| شيء - (of) anything| أو - whether| يتوب - He turns| عليهم - to them| أو - or| يعذبهم - punishes them| فإنهم - for indeed, they| ظالمون - (are) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 4 [16:113] | Walaqad jaahum rasoolun minhum fakaththaboohufaakhathahumu alAAathabu wahum thalimoona | ولقد جاءهم رسول منهم فكذبوه فأخذهم العذاب وهم ظالمون وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| جاءهم - came to them| رسول - a Messenger| منهم - from among them| فكذبوه - but they denied him;| فأخذهم - so seized them| العذاب - the punishment| وهم - while they| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 5 [23:107] | Rabbana akhrijna minhafa-in AAudna fa-inna thalimoona | ربنا أخرجنا منها فإن عدنا فإنا ظالمون رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| أخرجنا - Bring us out| منها - from it,| فإن - then if| عدنا - we return| فإنا - then indeed, we| ظالمون - (would be) wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 6 [28:59] | Wama kana rabbuka muhlikaalqura hatta yabAAatha fee ommiharasoolan yatloo AAalayhim ayatina wamakunna muhlikee alqura illa waahluha thalimoona | وما كان ربك مهلك القرى حتى يبعث في أمها رسولا يتلو عليهم آياتنا وما كنا مهلكي القرى إلا وأهلها ظالمون وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَى حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ فِي أُمِّهَا رَسُولًا يَتْلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا وَمَا كُنَّا مُهْلِكِي الْقُرَى إِلَّا وَأَهْلُهَا ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - was| ربك - your Lord| مهلك - (the) one to destroy| القرى - the towns| حتى - until| يبعث - He (had) sent| في - in| أمها - their mother (town)| رسولا - a Messenger| يتلو - reciting| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses.| وما - And not| كنا - We would be| مهلكي - (the) one to destroy| القرى - the towns| إلا - except| وأهلها - while their people| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 7 [29:14] | Walaqad arsalna noohan ilaqawmihi falabitha feehim alfa sanatin illa khamseena AAamanfaakhathahumu alttoofanu wahum thalimoona | ولقد أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه فلبث فيهم ألف سنة إلا خمسين عاما فأخذهم الطوفان وهم ظالمون وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أرسلنا - We sent| نوحا - Nuh| إلى - to| قومه - his people,| فلبث - and he remained| فيهم - among them| ألف - a thousand| سنة - year(s),| إلا - save| خمسين - fifty| عاما - year(s),| فأخذهم - then seized them| الطوفان - the flood,| وهم - while they| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
