| 1 [2:282] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha tadayantum bidaynin ila ajalin musammanfaoktuboohu walyaktub baynakum katibun bialAAadliwala ya/ba katibun an yaktuba kamaAAallamahu Allahu falyaktub walyumlili allatheeAAalayhi alhaqqu walyattaqi Allaha rabbahu walayabkhas minhu shay-an fa-in kana allathee AAalayhialhaqqu safeehan aw daAAeefan aw la yastateeAAuan yumilla huwa falyumlil waliyyuhu bialAAadli waistashhidooshaheedayni min rijalikum fa-in lam yakoonarajulayni farajulun waimraatani mimman tardawnamina alshshuhada-i an tadilla ihdahumafatuthakkira ihdahuma al-okhrawala ya/ba alshshuhadao itha maduAAoo wala tas-amoo an taktuboohu sagheeran awkabeeran ila ajalihi thalikum aqsatu AAindaAllahi waaqwamu lilshshahadati waadnaalla tartaboo illa an takoona tijaratanhadiratan tudeeroonaha baynakum falaysa AAalaykumjunahun alla taktubooha waashhidoo ithatabayaAAtum wala yudarra katibun walashaheedun wa-in tafAAaloo fa-innahu fusooqun bikum waittaqooAllaha wayuAAallimukumu Allahu waAllahubikulli shay-in AAaleemun |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا تداينتم بدين إلى أجل مسمى فاكتبوه وليكتب بينكم كاتب بالعدل ولا يأب كاتب أن يكتب كما علمه الله فليكتب وليملل الذي عليه الحق وليتق الله ربه ولا يبخس منه شيئا فإن كان الذي عليه الحق سفيها أو ضعيفا أو لا يستطيع أن يمل هو فليملل وليه بالعدل واستشهدوا شهيدين من رجالكم فإن لم يكونا رجلين فرجل وامرأتان ممن ترضون من الشهداء أن تضل إحداهما فتذكر إحداهما الأخرى ولا يأب الشهداء إذا ما دعوا ولا تسأموا أن تكتبوه صغيرا أو كبيرا إلى أجله ذلكم أقسط عند الله وأقوم للشهادة وأدنى ألا ترتابوا إلا أن تكون تجارة حاضرة تديرونها بينكم فليس عليكم جناح ألا تكتبوها وأشهدوا إذا تبايعتم ولا يضار كاتب ولا شهيد وإن تفعلوا فإنه فسوق بكم واتقوا الله ويعلمكم الله والله بكل شيء عليميَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا تَدَايَنتُم بِدَيْنٍ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَاكْتُبُوهُ وَلْيَكْتُب بَّيْنَكُمْ كَاتِبٌ بِالْعَدْلِ وَلاَ يَأْبَ كَاتِبٌ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ كَمَا عَلَّمَهُ اللّهُ فَلْيَكْتُبْ وَلْيُمْلِلِ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الْحَقُّ وَلْيَتَّقِ اللّهَ رَبَّهُ وَلاَ يَبْخَسْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَإِن كَانَ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الْحَقُّ سَفِيهًا أَوْ ضَعِيفًا أَوْ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَن يُمِلَّ هُوَ فَلْيُمْلِلْ وَلِيُّهُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَاسْتَشْهِدُواْ شَهِيدَيْنِ من رِّجَالِكُمْ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُونَا رَجُلَيْنِ فَرَجُلٌ وَامْرَأَتَانِ مِمَّن تَرْضَوْنَ مِنَ الشُّهَدَاءِ أَن تَضِلَّ إحْدَاهُمَا فَتُذَكِّرَ إِحْدَاهُمَا الأُخْرَى وَلاَ يَأْبَ الشُّهَدَاءُ إِذَا مَا دُعُواْ وَلاَ تَسْأَمُوْاْ أَن تَكْتُبُوْهُ صَغِيرًا أَو كَبِيرًا إِلَى أَجَلِهِ ذَلِكُمْ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَأَقْومُ لِلشَّهَادَةِ وَأَدْنَى أَلاَّ تَرْتَابُواْ إِلاَّ أَن تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً حَاضِرَةً تُدِيرُونَهَا بَيْنَكُمْ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَلاَّ تَكْتُبُوهَا وَأَشْهِدُوْاْ إِذَا تَبَايَعْتُمْ وَلاَ يُضَآرَّ كَاتِبٌ وَلاَ شَهِيدٌ وَإِن تَفْعَلُواْ فَإِنَّهُ فُسُوقٌ بِكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| إذا - When| تداينتم - you contract with one another| بدين - any debt| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - fixed| فاكتبوه - then write it.| وليكتب - And let write| بينكم - between you| كاتب - a scribe| بالعدل - in justice.| ولا - And not| يأب - (should) refuse| كاتب - a scribe| أن - that| يكتب - he writes| كما - as| علمه - (has) taught him| الله - Allah.| فليكتب - So let him write| وليملل - and let dictate| الذي - the one| عليه - on whom| الحق - (is) the right| وليتق - and let him fear| الله - Allah,| ربه - his Lord,| ولا - and (let him) not| يبخس - diminish| منه - from it| شيئا - anything.| فإن - Then if| كان - is| الذي - the one| عليه - on him| الحق - (is) the right,| سفيها - (of) limited understanding,| أو - or| ضعيفا - weak,| أو - or| لا - not| يستطيع - capable| أن - that| يمل - (can) dictate| هو - he,| فليملل - then let dictate| وليه - his guardian| بالعدل - with justice.| واستشهدوا - And call for evidence| شهيدين - two witnesses| من - among| رجالكم - your men.| فإن - And if| لم - not| يكونا - there are| رجلين - two men| فرجل - then one man| وامرأتان - and two women| ممن - of whom| ترضون - you agree| من - of| الشهداء - [the] witnesses,| أن - (so) that (if)| تضل - [she] errs,| إحداهما - one of the two,| فتذكر - then will remind| إحداهما - one of the two| الأخرى - the other.| ولا - And not| يأب - (should) refuse| الشهداء - the witnesses| إذا - when| ما - that| دعوا - they are called.| ولا - And not| تسأموا - (be) weary| أن - that| تكتبوه - you write it -| صغيرا - small| أو - or| كبيرا - large| إلى - for| أجله - its term.| ذلكم - That| أقسط - (is) more just| عند - near| الله - Allah,| وأقوم - and more upright| للشهادة - for evidence| وأدنى - and nearer| ألا - that not| ترتابوا - you (have) doubt,| إلا - except| أن - that| تكون - be| تجارة - a transaction| حاضرة - present,| تديرونها - you carry out| بينكم - among you,| فليس - then not| عليكم - on you| جناح - any sin| ألا - that not| تكتبوها - you write it.| وأشهدوا - And take witness| إذا - when| تبايعتم - you make commercial transaction.| ولا - And not| يضار - (should) be harmed| كاتب - (the) scribe| ولا - and not| شهيد - (the) witness,| وإن - and if| تفعلوا - you do,| فإنه - then indeed it| فسوق - (is) sinful conduct| بكم - for you,| واتقوا - and fear| الله - Allah.| ويعلمكم - And teaches| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - (is) All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:98] | Qul ya ahla alkitabi limatakfuroona bi-ayati Allahi waAllahushaheedun AAala ma taAAmaloona | قل يا أهل الكتاب لم تكفرون بآيات الله والله شهيد على ما تعملون قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَى مَا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||

| 3 [5:117] | Ma qultu lahum illa maamartanee bihi ani oAAbudoo Allaha rabbee warabbakumwakuntu AAalayhim shaheedan ma dumtu feehim falammatawaffaytanee kunta anta alrraqeeba AAalayhim waanta AAalakulli shay-in shaheedun | ما قلت لهم إلا ما أمرتني به أن اعبدوا الله ربي وربكم وكنت عليهم شهيدا ما دمت فيهم فلما توفيتني كنت أنت الرقيب عليهم وأنت على كل شيء شهيد مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلاَّ مَا أَمَرْتَنِي بِهِ أَنِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ وَكُنتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَّا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنتَ أَنتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ | |||||

| 4 [6:19] | Qul ayyu shay-in akbaru shahadatanquli Allahu shaheedun baynee wabaynakum waoohiyailayya hatha alqur-anu li-onthirakum bihiwaman balagha a-innakum latashhadoona anna maAAa Allahi alihatanokhra qul la ashhadu qul innama huwa ilahunwahidun wa-innanee baree-on mimma tushrikoona | قل أي شيء أكبر شهادة قل الله شهيد بيني وبينكم وأوحي إلي هذا القرآن لأنذركم به ومن بلغ أئنكم لتشهدون أن مع الله آلهة أخرى قل لا أشهد قل إنما هو إله واحد وإنني بريء مما تشركون قُلْ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادَةً قُلِ اللّهُ شَهِيدٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِ وَمَن بَلَغَ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ اللّهِ آلِهَةً أُخْرَى قُل لاَّ أَشْهَدُ قُلْ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَإِنَّنِي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أي - "What| شيء - thing| أكبر - (is) greatest| شهادة - (as) a testimony?"| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah| شهيد - (is) Witness| بيني - between me| وبينكم - and between you,| وأوحي - and has been revealed| إلي - to me| هذا - this| القرآن - [the] Quran| لأنذركم - that I may warn you| به - with it| ومن - and whoever| بلغ - it reaches.| أئنكم - Do you truly| لتشهدون - testify| أن - that| مع - with| الله - Allah| آلهة - (there are) gods| أخرى - other?"| قل - Say,| لا - Not| أشهد - (do) I testify.| قل - Say,| إنما - "Only| هو - He| إله - (is) God,| واحد - One.| وإنني - and indeed, I am| بريء - free| مما - of what| تشركون - you associate (with Him).| | ||||||
| 5 [10:46] | Wa-imma nuriyannaka baAAdaallathee naAAiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-ilaynamarjiAAuhum thumma Allahu shaheedun AAala mayafAAaloona | وإما نرينك بعض الذي نعدهم أو نتوفينك فإلينا مرجعهم ثم الله شهيد على ما يفعلون وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ اللّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإما - And whether| نرينك - We show you| بعض - some| الذي - (of) that which| نعدهم - We promised them| أو - or| نتوفينك - We cause you to die,| فإلينا - then to Us| مرجعهم - (is) their return,| ثم - then| الله - Allah| شهيد - (is) a Witness| على - over| ما - what| يفعلون - they do.| | ||||||
| 6 [22:17] | Inna allatheena amanoo waallatheenahadoo waalssabi-eena waalnnasarawaalmajoosa waallatheena ashrakoo inna Allahayafsilu baynahum yawma alqiyamati inna AllahaAAala kulli shay-in shaheedun | إن الذين آمنوا والذين هادوا والصابئين والنصارى والمجوس والذين أشركوا إن الله يفصل بينهم يوم القيامة إن الله على كل شيء شهيد إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئِينَ وَالنَّصَارَى وَالْمَجُوسَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ | |||||

| 7 [34:47] | Qul ma saaltukum min ajrin fahuwalakum in ajriya illa AAala Allahi wahuwaAAala kulli shay-in shaheedun | قل ما سألتكم من أجر فهو لكم إن أجري إلا على الله وهو على كل شيء شهيد قُلْ مَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ فَهُوَ لَكُمْ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ | |||||

| 8 [41:47] | Ilayhi yuraddu AAilmu alssaAAatiwama takhruju min thamaratin min akmamihawama tahmilu min ontha wala tadaAAuilla biAAilmihi wayawma yunadeehim ayna shuraka-eeqaloo athannaka ma minna minshaheedin | إليه يرد علم الساعة وما تخرج من ثمرات من أكمامها وما تحمل من أنثى ولا تضع إلا بعلمه ويوم يناديهم أين شركائي قالوا آذناك ما منا من شهيد إِلَيْهِ يُرَدُّ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَمَا تَخْرُجُ مِن ثَمَرَاتٍ مِّنْ أَكْمَامِهَا وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنثَى وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِي قَالُوا آذَنَّاكَ مَا مِنَّا مِن شَهِيدٍ | |||||
| Words | |إليه - To Him| يرد - is referred| علم - (the) knowledge| الساعة - (of) the Hour.| وما - And not| تخرج - comes out| من - any| ثمرات - fruits| من - from| أكمامها - their coverings,| وما - and not| تحمل - bears| من - any| أنثى - female| ولا - and not| تضع - gives birth| إلا - except| بعلمه - with His knowledge.| ويوم - And (the) Day| يناديهم - He will call them,| أين - "Where (are)| شركائي - My partners?"| قالوا - They will say,| آذناك - "We announce (to) You,| ما - not| منا - among us| من - any| شهيد - witness."| | ||||||
| 9 [41:53] | Sanureehim ayatina feeal-afaqi wafee anfusihim hattayatabayyana lahum annahu alhaqqu awa lam yakfi birabbikaannahu AAala kulli shay-in shaheedun | سنريهم آياتنا في الآفاق وفي أنفسهم حتى يتبين لهم أنه الحق أولم يكف بربك أنه على كل شيء شهيد سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي الْآفَاقِ وَفِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ | |||||

| 10 [50:37] | Inna fee thalika lathikraliman kana lahu qalbun aw alqa alssamAAawahuwa shaheedun | إن في ذلك لذكرى لمن كان له قلب أو ألقى السمع وهو شهيد إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لذكرى - surely, is a reminder| لمن - for (one) who,| كان - is -| له - for him| قلب - a heart| أو - or| ألقى - (who) gives ear| السمع - (who) gives ear| وهو - while he| شهيد - (is) a witness.| | ||||||
| 11 [58:6] | Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAanfayunabbi-ohum bima AAamiloo ahsahu Allahuwanasoohu waAllahu AAala kulli shay-inshaheedun | يوم يبعثهم الله جميعا فينبئهم بما عملوا أحصاه الله ونسوه والله على كل شيء شهيد يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا أَحْصَاهُ اللَّهُ وَنَسُوهُ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ | |||||
