| 1 [24:6] | Waallatheena yarmoona azwajahumwalam yakun lahum shuhadao illa anfusuhum fashahadatuahadihim arbaAAu shahadatin biAllahiinnahu lamina alssadiqeena |  والذين يرمون أزواجهم ولم يكن لهم شهداء إلا أنفسهم فشهادة أحدهم أربع شهادات بالله إنه لمن الصادقينوَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ إِلَّا أَنفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يرمون - accuse| أزواجهم - their spouses| ولم - and not| يكن - have| لهم - for them| شهداء - witnesses| إلا - except| أنفسهم - themselves,| فشهادة - then (the) testimony| أحدهم - (of) one of them| أربع - (is) four| شهادات - testimonies| بالله - by Allah,| إنه - that he| لمن - (is) surely of| الصادقين - the truthful.| | ||||||
| 2 [24:8] | Wayadrao AAanha alAAathaba antashhada arbaAAa shahadatin biAllahiinnahu lamina alkathibeena | ويدرأ عنها العذاب أن تشهد أربع شهادات بالله إنه لمن الكاذبين وَيَدْرَؤُاْ عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ أَنْ تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويدرأ - But it would prevent| عنها - from her| العذاب - the punishment| أن - that| تشهد - she bears witness| أربع - four| شهادات - testimonies| بالله - by Allah| إنه - that he| لمن - (is) surely of| الكاذبين - the liars.| | ||||||
