| 1 [7:34] | Walikulli ommatin ajalun fa-itha jaaajaluhum la yasta/khiroona saAAatan walayastaqdimoona |  ولكل أمة أجل فإذا جاء أجلهم لا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمونوَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكل - And for every| أمة - nation| أجل - (is a fixed) term.| فإذا - So when| جاء - comes| أجلهم - their term,| لا - (they can) not| يستأخرون - seek to delay| ساعة - an hour,| ولا - and not| يستقدمون - seek to advance (it).| | ||||||
| 2 [9:117] | Laqad taba Allahu AAalaalnnabiyyi waalmuhajireena waal-ansariallatheena ittabaAAoohu fee saAAati alAAusrati minbaAAdi ma kada yazeeghu quloobu fareeqin minhumthumma taba AAalayhim innahu bihim raoofun raheemun | لقد تاب الله على النبي والمهاجرين والأنصار الذين اتبعوه في ساعة العسرة من بعد ما كاد يزيغ قلوب فريق منهم ثم تاب عليهم إنه بهم رءوف رحيم لَقَد تَّابَ الله عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنصَارِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ فِي سَاعَةِ الْعُسْرَةِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٍ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّهُ بِهِمْ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Verily,| تاب - Allah turned (in mercy)| الله - Allah turned (in mercy)| على - to| النبي - the Prophet,| والمهاجرين - and the emigrants,| والأنصار - and the helpers| الذين - [those] who| اتبعوه - followed him,| في - in| ساعة - (the) hour| العسرة - (of) difficulty| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| كاد - had nearly| يزيغ - deviated| قلوب - (the) hearts| فريق - (of) a party| منهم - of them,| ثم - then| تاب - He turned (in mercy)| عليهم - to them.| إنه - Indeed, He| بهم - to them| رءوف - (is) Most Kind,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 3 [10:45] | Wayawma yahshuruhum kaan lamyalbathoo illa saAAatan mina alnnahariyataAAarafoona baynahum qad khasira allatheena kaththaboobiliqa-i Allahi wama kanoo muhtadeena | ويوم يحشرهم كأن لم يلبثوا إلا ساعة من النهار يتعارفون بينهم قد خسر الذين كذبوا بلقاء الله وما كانوا مهتدين وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُواْ إِلاَّ سَاعَةً مِّنَ النَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَاءِ اللّهِ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And the Day| يحشرهم - He will gather them,| كأن - as if| لم - they had not remained| يلبثوا - they had not remained| إلا - except| ساعة - an hour| من - of| النهار - the day,| يتعارفون - they will recognize each other| بينهم - between them.| قد - Certainly,| خسر - (will have) lost| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بلقاء - the meeting| الله - (with) Allah,| وما - and not| كانوا - they were| مهتدين - the guided ones.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:49] | Qul la amliku linafsee darranwala nafAAan illa ma shaa Allahulikulli ommatin ajalun itha jaa ajaluhum falayasta/khiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona | قل لا أملك لنفسي ضرا ولا نفعا إلا ما شاء الله لكل أمة أجل إذا جاء أجلهم فلا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمون قُل لاَّ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي ضَرًّا وَلاَ نَفْعًا إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ اللّهُ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أملك - I have power| لنفسي - for myself| ضرا - (for) any harm| ولا - and not| نفعا - (for) any profit| إلا - except| ما - what| شاء - Allah wills.| الله - Allah wills.| لكل - For every| أمة - nation| أجل - (is) a term.| إذا - When| جاء - comes| أجلهم - their term,| فلا - then not| يستأخرون - they remain behind| ساعة - an hour,| ولا - and not| يستقدمون - they can precede (it)."| | ||||||
| 5 [16:61] | Walaw yu-akhithu Allahualnnasa bithulmihim ma tarakaAAalayha min dabbatin walakin yu-akhkhiruhumila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaa ajaluhum layasta/khiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona | ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بظلمهم ما ترك عليها من دابة ولكن يؤخرهم إلى أجل مسمى فإذا جاء أجلهم لا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمون وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللّهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| يؤاخذ - Allah were to seize| الله - Allah were to seize| الناس - the mankind| بظلمهم - for their wrongdoing| ما - not| ترك - He (would) have left| عليها - upon it| من - any| دابة - moving creature,| ولكن - but| يؤخرهم - He defers them| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed.| فإذا - Then when| جاء - comes| أجلهم - their terms| لا - not| يستأخرون - they (will) remain behind| ساعة - an hour| ولا - and not| يستقدمون - they can advance (it).| | ||||||
| 6 [30:55] | Wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatuyuqsimu almujrimoona ma labithoo ghayra saAAatin kathalikakanoo yu/fakoona | ويوم تقوم الساعة يقسم المجرمون ما لبثوا غير ساعة كذلك كانوا يؤفكون وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍ كَذَلِكَ كَانُوا يُؤْفَكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| تقوم - will (be) established| الساعة - the Hour| يقسم - will swear| المجرمون - the criminals| ما - not| لبثوا - they remained| غير - but| ساعة - an hour.| كذلك - Thus| كانوا - they were| يؤفكون - deluded.| | ||||||
| 7 [34:30] | Qul lakum meeAAadu yawmin latasta/khiroona AAanhu saAAatan wala tastaqdimoona | قل لكم ميعاد يوم لا تستأخرون عنه ساعة ولا تستقدمون قُل لَّكُم مِّيعَادُ يَوْمٍ لَّا تَسْتَأْخِرُونَ عَنْهُ سَاعَةً وَلَا تَسْتَقْدِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لكم - "For you| ميعاد - (is the) appointment| يوم - (of) a Day,| لا - not| تستأخرون - you can postpone| عنه - [of] it| ساعة - (for) an hour,| ولا - and not| تستقدمون - (can) you precede (it)."| | ||||||
| 8 [46:35] | Faisbir kama sabaraoloo alAAazmi mina alrrusuli wala tastaAAjil lahumkaannahum yawma yarawna ma yooAAadoona lam yalbathoo illasaAAatan min naharin balaghun fahal yuhlakuilla alqawmu alfasiqoona | فاصبر كما صبر أولو العزم من الرسل ولا تستعجل لهم كأنهم يوم يرون ما يوعدون لم يلبثوا إلا ساعة من نهار بلاغ فهل يهلك إلا القوم الفاسقون فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُوْلُوا الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسْتَعْجِل لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّن نَّهَارٍ بَلَاغٌ فَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فاصبر - So be patient,| كما - as| صبر - had patience| أولو - those of determination| العزم - those of determination| من - of| الرسل - the Messengers,| ولا - and (do) not| تستعجل - seek to hasten| لهم - for them.| كأنهم - As if they had,| يوم - (the) Day| يرون - they see| ما - what| يوعدون - they were promised,| لم - not| يلبثوا - remained| إلا - except| ساعة - an hour| من - of| نهار - a day.| بلاغ - A notification.| فهل - But will| يهلك - (any) be destroyed| إلا - except| القوم - the people -| الفاسقون - the defiantly disobedient?| | ||||||
