| 1 [4:6] | Waibtaloo alyatama hattaitha balaghoo alnnikaha fa-in anastumminhum rushdan faidfaAAoo ilayhim amwalahum walata/kulooha israfan wabidaran an yakbaroowaman kana ghaniyyan falyastaAAfif waman kanafaqeeran falya/kul bialmaAAroofi fa-itha dafaAAtumilayhim amwalahum faashhidoo AAalayhim wakafa biAllahihaseeban |  وابتلوا اليتامى حتى إذا بلغوا النكاح فإن آنستم منهم رشدا فادفعوا إليهم أموالهم ولا تأكلوها إسرافا وبدارا أن يكبروا ومن كان غنيا فليستعفف ومن كان فقيرا فليأكل بالمعروف فإذا دفعتم إليهم أموالهم فأشهدوا عليهم وكفى بالله حسيباوَابْتَلُواْ الْيَتَامَى حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُواْ النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُواْ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |وابتلوا - And test| اليتامى - the orphans| حتى - until| إذا - [when]| بلغوا - they reach[ed]| النكاح - (the age of) marriage,| فإن - then if| آنستم - you perceive| منهم - in them| رشدا - sound judgement| فادفعوا - then deliver| إليهم - to them| أموالهم - their wealth.| ولا - And (do) not| تأكلوها - eat it| إسرافا - extravagantly| وبدارا - and hastily| أن - (fearing) that| يكبروا - they will grow up.| ومن - And whoever| كان - is| غنيا - rich| فليستعفف - then he should refrain,| ومن - and whoever| كان - is| فقيرا - poor| فليأكل - then let him eat (of it)| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| فإذا - Then when| دفعتم - you deliver| إليهم - to them| أموالهم - their wealth| فأشهدوا - then take witnesses| عليهم - on them.| وكفى - And is sufficient| بالله - Allah| حسيبا - (as) a Reckoner.| | ||||||
| 2 [18:10] | Ith awa alfityatu ilaalkahfi faqaloo rabbana atina minladunka rahmatan wahayyi/ lana min amrinarashadan | إذ أوى الفتية إلى الكهف فقالوا ربنا آتنا من لدنك رحمة وهيئ لنا من أمرنا رشدا إِذْ أَوَى الْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى الْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| أوى - retreated| الفتية - the youths| إلى - to| الكهف - the cave,| فقالوا - and they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| من - from| لدنك - Yourself| رحمة - Mercy,| وهيئ - and facilitate| لنا - for us| من - [from]| أمرنا - our affair| رشدا - (in the) right way."| | ||||||
| 3 [18:24] | Illa an yashaa Allahuwaothkur rabbaka itha naseeta waqul AAasaan yahdiyani rabbee li-aqraba min hatha rashadan | إلا أن يشاء الله واذكر ربك إذا نسيت وقل عسى أن يهدين ربي لأقرب من هذا رشدا إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ إِذَا نَسِيتَ وَقُلْ عَسَى أَن يَهْدِيَنِ رَبِّي لِأَقْرَبَ مِنْ هَذَا رَشَدًا | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except,| أن - "If| يشاء - Allah wills."| الله - Allah wills."| واذكر - And remember| ربك - your Lord| إذا - when| نسيت - you forget| وقل - and say,| عسى - "Perhaps| أن - [that]| يهدين - will guide me| ربي - my Lord| لأقرب - to a nearer (way)| من - than| هذا - this| رشدا - right way."| | ||||||
| 4 [18:66] | Qala lahu moosa halattabiAAuka AAala an tuAAallimani mimma AAullimtarushdan | قال له موسى هل أتبعك على أن تعلمن مما علمت رشدا قَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى هَلْ أَتَّبِعُكَ عَلَى أَن تُعَلِّمَنِ مِمَّا عُلِّمْتَ رُشْدًا | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| له - to him| موسى - Musa,| هل - "May,| أتبعك - I follow you| على - on| أن - that| تعلمن - you teach me| مما - of what| علمت - you have been taught| رشدا - (of) right guidance?"| | ||||||
| 5 [72:10] | Waanna la nadree asharrunoreeda biman fee al-ardi am arada bihim rabbuhumrashadan | وأنا لا ندري أشر أريد بمن في الأرض أم أراد بهم ربهم رشدا وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِي أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وأنا - And that we -| لا - not| ندري - we know| أشر - whether evil| أريد - is intended| بمن - for (those) who| في - (are) in| الأرض - the earth| أم - or| أراد - intends| بهم - for them| ربهم - their Lord| رشدا - a right path.| | ||||||
| 6 [72:14] | Waanna minna almuslimoonawaminna alqasitoona faman aslama faola-ikataharraw rashadan | وأنا منا المسلمون ومنا القاسطون فمن أسلم فأولئك تحروا رشدا وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا رَشَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وأنا - And that we,| منا - among us| المسلمون - (are) Muslims| ومنا - and among us| القاسطون - (are) unjust.| فمن - And whoever| أسلم - submits,| فأولئك - then those| تحروا - have sought| رشدا - (the) right path.| | ||||||
| 7 [72:21] | Qul innee la amliku lakum darranwala rashadan | قل إني لا أملك لكم ضرا ولا رشدا قُلْ إِنِّي لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا رَشَدًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إني - "Indeed, I| لا - (do) not| أملك - possess| لكم - for you| ضرا - any harm| ولا - and not| رشدا - right path."| | ||||||
