| 2 [2:128] | Rabbana waijAAalnamuslimayni laka wamin thurriyyatina ommatanmuslimatan laka waarina manasikana watubAAalayna innaka anta alttawwabu alrraheemu | ربنا واجعلنا مسلمين لك ومن ذريتنا أمة مسلمة لك وأرنا مناسكنا وتب علينا إنك أنت التواب الرحيم رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| واجعلنا - [and] Make us| مسلمين - both submissive| لك - to You.| ومن - And from| ذريتنا - our offspring| أمة - a community| مسلمة - submissive| لك - to You.| وأرنا - And show us| مناسكنا - our ways of worship| وتب - and turn| علينا - to us.| إنك - Indeed You!| أنت - [You] (are)| التواب - the Oft-returning,| الرحيم - the Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:129] | Rabbana waibAAath feehimrasoolan minhum yatloo AAalayhim ayatikawayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmatawayuzakkeehim innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu | ربنا وابعث فيهم رسولا منهم يتلو عليهم آياتك ويعلمهم الكتاب والحكمة ويزكيهم إنك أنت العزيز الحكيم رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| وابعث - [And] raise up| فيهم - in them| رسولا - a Messenger| منهم - from them| يتلو - (who) will recite| عليهم - to them| آياتك - Your Verses| ويعلمهم - and will teach them| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and the wisdom| ويزكيهم - and purify them.| إنك - Indeed You!| أنت - You (are)| العزيز - the All-Mighty| الحكيم - the All-Wise."| | ||||||
| 4 [2:139] | Qul atuhajjoonana fee Allahiwahuwa rabbuna warabbukum walana aAAmalunawalakum aAAmalukum wanahnu lahu mukhlisoona | قل أتحاجوننا في الله وهو ربنا وربكم ولنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم ونحن له مخلصون قُلْ أَتُحَآجُّونَنَا فِي اللّهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُخْلِصُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أتحاجوننا - "Do you argue with us| في - about| الله - Allah| وهو - while He| ربنا - (is) our Lord| وربكم - and your Lord?| ولنا - And for us| أعمالنا - (are) our deeds| ولكم - and for you| أعمالكم - (are) your deeds| ونحن - and we| له - to Him| مخلصون - (are) sincere.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:200] | Fa-itha qadaytum manasikakumfaothkuroo Allaha kathikrikum abaakumaw ashadda thikran famina alnnasi manyaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunyawama lahu fee al-akhirati min khalaqin | فإذا قضيتم مناسككم فاذكروا الله كذكركم آباءكم أو أشد ذكرا فمن الناس من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا وما له في الآخرة من خلاق فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - Then when| قضيتم - you complete[d]| مناسككم - your acts of worship| فاذكروا - then remember| الله - Allah| كذكركم - as you remember| آباءكم - your forefathers| أو - or| أشد - (with) greater| ذكرا - remembrance.| فمن - And from| الناس - the people| من - who| يقول - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| في - in| الدنيا - the world."| وما - And not| له - for him| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| من - [of]| خلاق - any share.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:201] | Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atinafee alddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhiratihasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari | ومنهم من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار وِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And from those| من - who| يقول - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| في - in| الدنيا - the world| حسنة - good| وفي - and in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| حسنة - good,| وقنا - and save us| عذاب - (from the) punishment| النار - (of) the Fire."| | ||||||
| 7 [2:250] | Walamma barazoo lijalootawajunoodihi qaloo rabbana afrigh AAalayna sabranwathabbit aqdamana waonsurnaAAala alqawmi alkafireena | ولما برزوا لجالوت وجنوده قالوا ربنا أفرغ علينا صبرا وثبت أقدامنا وانصرنا على القوم الكافرين وَلَمَّا بَرَزُواْ لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| برزوا - they went forth| لجالوت - to (face) Jalut| وجنوده - and his troops| قالوا - they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| أفرغ - Pour| علينا - on us| صبرا - patience| وثبت - and make firm| أقدامنا - our feet,| وانصرنا - and help us| على - against| القوم - the people| الكافرين - (who are) disbelieving."| | ||||||
| 8 [2:285] | Amana alrrasoolu bimaonzila ilayhi min rabbihi waalmu/minoona kullun amanabiAllahi wamala-ikatihi wakutubihiwarusulihi la nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulihiwaqaloo samiAAna waataAAna ghufranakarabbana wa-ilayka almaseeru | آمن الرسول بما أنزل إليه من ربه والمؤمنون كل آمن بالله وملائكته وكتبه ورسله لا نفرق بين أحد من رسله وقالوا سمعنا وأطعنا غفرانك ربنا وإليك المصير آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَمَلَآئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |آمن - Believed| الرسول - the Messenger| بما - in what| أنزل - was revealed| إليه - to him| من - from| ربه - his Lord| والمؤمنون - and the believers.| كل - All| آمن - believed| بالله - in Allah,| وملائكته - and His Angels,| وكتبه - and His Books,| ورسله - and His Messengers.| لا - "Not| نفرق - we make distinction| بين - between| أحد - any| من - of| رسله - His messengers."| وقالوا - And they said,| سمعنا - "We heard| وأطعنا - and we obeyed.| غفرانك - (Grant) us Your forgiveness| ربنا - our Lord,| وإليك - and to You| المصير - (is) the return."| | ||||||
| 9 [2:286] | La yukallifu Allahu nafsanilla wusAAaha laha ma kasabatwaAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana latu-akhithna in naseena aw akhta/narabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isrankama hamaltahu AAala allatheena minqablina rabbana wala tuhammilnama la taqata lana bihi waoAAfuAAanna waighfir lana wairhamnaanta mawlana faonsurna AAalaalqawmi alkafireena | لا يكلف الله نفسا إلا وسعها لها ما كسبت وعليها ما اكتسبت ربنا لا تؤاخذنا إن نسينا أو أخطأنا ربنا ولا تحمل علينا إصرا كما حملته على الذين من قبلنا ربنا ولا تحملنا ما لا طاقة لنا به واعف عنا واغفر لنا وارحمنا أنت مولانا فانصرنا على القوم الكافرين لاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللّهُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - (Does) not| يكلف - burden| الله - Allah| نفسا - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - its capacity,| لها - for it| ما - what| كسبت - it earned,| وعليها - and against it| ما - what| اكتسبت - it earned.| ربنا - "Our Lord!| لا - (Do) not| تؤاخذنا - take us to task| إن - if| نسينا - we forget| أو - or| أخطأنا - we err.| ربنا - Our Lord!| ولا - And (do) not| تحمل - lay| علينا - upon us| إصرا - a burden| كما - like that| حملته - (which) You laid [it]| على - on| الذين - those who| من - (were) from| قبلنا - before us.| ربنا - Our Lord!| ولا - [And] (do) not| تحملنا - lay on us| ما - what| لا - not| طاقة - (the) strength| لنا - we have| به - [of it] (to bear).| واعف - And pardon| عنا - [from] us,| واغفر - and forgive| لنا - [for] us| وارحمنا - and have mercy on us.| أنت - You (are)| مولانا - our Protector,| فانصرنا - so help us| على - against| القوم - the people -| الكافرين - [the] disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 10 [3:7] | Huwa allathee anzala AAalayka alkitabaminhu ayatun muhkamatun hunna ommualkitabi waokharu mutashabihatun faammaallatheena fee quloobihim zayghun fayattabiAAoona matashabaha minhu ibtighaa alfitnati waibtighaata/weelihi wama yaAAlamu ta/weelahu illa Allahuwaalrrasikhoona fee alAAilmi yaqooloona amannabihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaruilla oloo al-albabi | هو الذي أنزل عليك الكتاب منه آيات محكمات هن أم الكتاب وأخر متشابهات فأما الذين في قلوبهم زيغ فيتبعون ما تشابه منه ابتغاء الفتنة وابتغاء تأويله وما يعلم تأويله إلا الله والراسخون في العلم يقولون آمنا به كل من عند ربنا وما يذكر إلا أولو الألباب هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِهِ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلاَّ اللّهُ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ رَبِّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلاَّ أُوْلُواْ الْأَلْبَابِ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أنزل - revealed| عليك - to you| الكتاب - the Book,| منه - of it| آيات - (are) Verses| محكمات - absolutely clear -| هن - they (are)| أم - the foundation| الكتاب - (of) the Book,| وأخر - and others| متشابهات - (are) allegorical.| فأما - Then as for| الذين - those| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| زيغ - (is) perversity -| فيتبعون - [so] they follow| ما - what| تشابه - (is) allegorical| منه - of it,| ابتغاء - seeking| الفتنة - [the] discord| وابتغاء - and seeking| تأويله - its interpretation.| وما - And not| يعلم - knows| تأويله - its interpretation| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| والراسخون - And those firm| في - in| العلم - [the] knowledge,| يقولون - they say,| آمنا - "We believe| به - in it.| كل - All| من - (is)| عند - from| ربنا - our Lord."| وما - And not| يذكر - will take heed| إلا - except| أولو - men| الألباب - (of) understanding.| | ||||||
| 11 [3:8] | Rabbana la tuzigh quloobanabaAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunkarahmatan innaka anta alwahhabu | ربنا لا تزغ قلوبنا بعد إذ هديتنا وهب لنا من لدنك رحمة إنك أنت الوهاب رَبَّنَا لاَ تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - "Our Lord!| لا - (Do) not| تزغ - deviate| قلوبنا - our hearts| بعد - after| إذ - [when]| هديتنا - You (have) guided us,| وهب - and grant| لنا - (for) us| من - from| لدنك - Yourself| رحمة - mercy.| إنك - Indeed You,| أنت - You| الوهاب - (are) the Bestower.| | ||||||
| 12 [3:9] | Rabbana innaka jamiAAu alnnasiliyawmin la rayba feehi inna Allaha layukhlifu almeeAAada | ربنا إنك جامع الناس ليوم لا ريب فيه إن الله لا يخلف الميعاد رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| إنك - Indeed, You| جامع - will gather| الناس - [the] mankind| ليوم - on a Day,| لا - (there is) no| ريب - doubt| فيه - in it.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يخلف - break| الميعاد - the Promise."| | ||||||
| 13 [3:16] | Allatheena yaqooloona rabbanainnana amanna faighfir lana thunoobanawaqina AAathaba alnnari | الذين يقولون ربنا إننا آمنا فاغفر لنا ذنوبنا وقنا عذاب النار الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||

| 14 [3:53] | Rabbana amanna bimaanzalta waittabaAAna alrrasoola faoktubnamaAAa alshshahideena | ربنا آمنا بما أنزلت واتبعنا الرسول فاكتبنا مع الشاهدين رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ | |||||

| 15 [3:147] | Wama kana qawlahum illaan qaloo rabbana ighfir lana thunoobanawa-israfana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamanawaonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena | وما كان قولهم إلا أن قالوا ربنا اغفر لنا ذنوبنا وإسرافنا في أمرنا وثبت أقدامنا وانصرنا على القوم الكافرين وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ ربَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||

| 16 [3:191] | Allatheena yathkuroona Allahaqiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihimwayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waal-ardirabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanakafaqina AAathaba alnnari | الذين يذكرون الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبهم ويتفكرون في خلق السماوات والأرض ربنا ما خلقت هذا باطلا سبحانك فقنا عذاب النار الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلاً سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||

| 17 [3:192] | Rabbana innaka man tudkhili alnnarafaqad akhzaytahu wama lilththalimeenamin ansarin | ربنا إنك من تدخل النار فقد أخزيته وما للظالمين من أنصار رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord,| إنك - indeed [You]| من - whom| تدخل - You admit| النار - (to) the Fire| فقد - then surely| أخزيته - You (have) disgraced him,| وما - and not| للظالمين - for the wrongdoers| من - (are) any| أنصار - helpers.| | ||||||
| 18 [3:193] | Rabbana innana samiAAnamunadiyan yunadee lil-eemani an aminoobirabbikum faamanna rabbana faighfirlana thunoobana wakaffir AAannasayyi-atina watawaffana maAAa al-abrari | ربنا إننا سمعنا مناديا ينادي للإيمان أن آمنوا بربكم فآمنا ربنا فاغفر لنا ذنوبنا وكفر عنا سيئاتنا وتوفنا مع الأبرار رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ | |||||

| 19 [3:194] | Rabbana waatina mawaAAadtana AAala rusulika wala tukhzinayawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAada | ربنا وآتنا ما وعدتنا على رسلك ولا تخزنا يوم القيامة إنك لا تخلف الميعاد رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلاَ تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||

| 20 [4:75] | Wama lakum la tuqatiloonafee sabeeli Allahi waalmustadAAafeena mina alrrijaliwaalnnisa-i waalwildani allatheenayaqooloona rabbana akhrijna min hathihialqaryati alththalimi ahluhawaijAAal lana min ladunka waliyyan waijAAallana min ladunka naseeran | وما لكم لا تقاتلون في سبيل الله والمستضعفين من الرجال والنساء والولدان الذين يقولون ربنا أخرجنا من هذه القرية الظالم أهلها واجعل لنا من لدنك وليا واجعل لنا من لدنك نصيرا وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And what| لكم - for you| لا - (that) not| تقاتلون - you fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| والمستضعفين - and (for) those who are weak| من - among| الرجال - the men| والنساء - and the women| والولدان - and the children,| الذين - those who| يقولون - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord| أخرجنا - take us out| من - of| هذه - this| القرية - [the] town| الظالم - [the] oppressor(s)| أهلها - (are) its people| واجعل - and appoint| لنا - for us| من - from| لدنك - Yourself| وليا - a protector| واجعل - and appoint| لنا - for us| من - from| لدنك - Yourself| نصيرا - a helper.| | ||||||
