| 1 [2:200] | Fa-itha qadaytum manasikakumfaothkuroo Allaha kathikrikum abaakumaw ashadda thikran famina alnnasi manyaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunyawama lahu fee al-akhirati min khalaqin |  فإذا قضيتم مناسككم فاذكروا الله كذكركم آباءكم أو أشد ذكرا فمن الناس من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا وما له في الآخرة من خلاقفَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - Then when| قضيتم - you complete[d]| مناسككم - your acts of worship| فاذكروا - then remember| الله - Allah| كذكركم - as you remember| آباءكم - your forefathers| أو - or| أشد - (with) greater| ذكرا - remembrance.| فمن - And from| الناس - the people| من - who| يقول - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| في - in| الدنيا - the world."| وما - And not| له - for him| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| من - [of]| خلاق - any share.| | ||||||
| 2 [18:70] | Qala fa-ini ittabaAAtanee falatas-alnee AAan shay-in hatta ohditha lakaminhu thikran | قال فإن اتبعتني فلا تسألني عن شيء حتى أحدث لك منه ذكرا قَالَ فَإِنِ اتَّبَعْتَنِي فَلاَ تَسْأَلْنِي عَن شَيْءٍ حَتَّى أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| فإن - "Then if| اتبعتني - you follow me,| فلا - (do) not| تسألني - ask me| عن - about| شيء - anything| حتى - until| أحدث - I present| لك - to you| منه - of it| ذكرا - a mention."| | ||||||
| 3 [18:83] | Wayas-aloonaka AAan thee alqarnayniqul saatloo AAalaykum minhu thikran | ويسألونك عن ذي القرنين قل سأتلو عليكم منه ذكرا وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَن ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ قُلْ سَأَتْلُواْ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْهُ ذِكْرًا | |||||
| Words | |ويسألونك - And they ask you| عن - about| ذي - Dhul-qarnain.| القرنين - Dhul-qarnain.| قل - Say,| سأتلو - "I will recite| عليكم - to you| منه - about him| ذكرا - a remembrance."| | ||||||
| 4 [20:99] | Kathalika naqussu AAalayka minanba-i ma qad sabaqa waqad ataynakamin ladunna thikran | كذلك نقص عليك من أنباء ما قد سبق وقد آتيناك من لدنا ذكرا كَذَلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ وَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرًا | |||||
| Words | |كذلك - Thus| نقص - We relate| عليك - to you| من - from| أنباء - (the) news| ما - (of) what| قد - has preceded.| سبق - has preceded.| وقد - And certainly| آتيناك - We have given you| من - from| لدنا - Us| ذكرا - a Reminder.| | ||||||
| 5 [20:113] | Wakathalika anzalnahu qur-ananAAarabiyyan wasarrafna feehi mina alwaAAeedilaAAallahum yattaqoona aw yuhdithu lahum thikran | وكذلك أنزلناه قرآنا عربيا وصرفنا فيه من الوعيد لعلهم يتقون أو يحدث لهم ذكرا وَكَذَلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْرًا | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| أنزلناه - We have sent it down,| قرآنا - (the) Quran| عربيا - (in) Arabic| وصرفنا - and We have explained| فيه - in it| من - of| الوعيد - the warnings| لعلهم - that they may| يتقون - fear| أو - or| يحدث - it may cause| لهم - [for] them| ذكرا - remembrance.| | ||||||
| 6 [33:41] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooothkuroo Allaha thikran katheeran | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اذكروا الله ذكرا كثيرا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا | |||||

| 9 [65:10] | aAAadda Allahu lahum AAathabanshadeedan faittaqoo Allaha ya olee al-albabiallatheena amanoo qad anzala Allahu ilaykum thikran | أعد الله لهم عذابا شديدا فاتقوا الله يا أولي الألباب الذين آمنوا قد أنزل الله إليكم ذكرا أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قَدْ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا | |||||
