| 1 [3:145] | Wama kana linafsin an tamootailla bi-ithni Allahi kitabanmu-ajjalan waman yurid thawaba alddunyanu/tihi minha waman yurid thawaba al-akhiratinu/tihi minha wasanajzee alshshakireena |  وما كان لنفس أن تموت إلا بإذن الله كتابا مؤجلا ومن يرد ثواب الدنيا نؤته منها ومن يرد ثواب الآخرة نؤته منها وسنجزي الشاكرينوَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ الله كِتَابًا مُّؤَجَّلاً وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| لنفس - for a soul| أن - that| تموت - he dies| إلا - except| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah,| كتابا - (at a) decree| مؤجلا - determined.| ومن - And whoever| يرد - desires| ثواب - reward| الدنيا - (of) the world -| نؤته - We will give him| منها - thereof;| ومن - and whoever| يرد - desires| ثواب - reward| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| نؤته - We will give him| منها - thereof.| وسنجزي - And We will reward| الشاكرين - the grateful ones.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:148] | Faatahumu Allahu thawabaalddunya wahusna thawabi al-akhiratiwaAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena | فآتاهم الله ثواب الدنيا وحسن ثواب الآخرة والله يحب المحسنين فَآتَاهُمُ اللّهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الْآخِرَةِ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فآتاهم - So gave them| الله - Allah| ثواب - reward| الدنيا - (in) the world| وحسن - and good| ثواب - reward| الآخرة - (in) the Hereafter.| والله - And Allah| يحب - loves| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:134] | Man kana yureedu thawaba alddunyafaAAinda Allahi thawabu alddunya waal-akhiratiwakana Allahu sameeAAan baseeran | من كان يريد ثواب الدنيا فعند الله ثواب الدنيا والآخرة وكان الله سميعا بصيرا مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ اللّهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |من - Whoever| كان - [is]| يريد - desires| ثواب - reward| الدنيا - (of) the world -| فعند - then with| الله - Allah| ثواب - (is the) reward| الدنيا - (of) the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| وكان - And is| الله - Allah| سميعا - All-Hearing,| بصيرا - All-Seeing.| | ||||||
| 4 [28:80] | Waqala allatheena ootooalAAilma waylakum thawabu Allahi khayrun liman amanawaAAamila salihan wala yulaqqahailla alssabiroona | وقال الذين أوتوا العلم ويلكم ثواب الله خير لمن آمن وعمل صالحا ولا يلقاها إلا الصابرون وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَيْلَكُمْ ثَوَابُ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنْ آمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَلَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - But said| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| العلم - the knowledge,| ويلكم - "Woe to you!| ثواب - (The) reward| الله - (of) Allah| خير - (is) better| لمن - for (he) who| آمن - believes| وعمل - and does| صالحا - righteous (deeds).| ولا - And not| يلقاها - it is granted| إلا - except| الصابرون - (to) the patient ones."| | ||||||
